I had heard so many good things about these shoes, I decided to get them. I like the look of the sandals, but they just seemed too bulky and heavy to walk around in. I did not find them comfortable at all, which is what you are going for in shoes like this. Sadly, they are going back because Zappos has the most amazing customer service/return policy ever!

I love the look and i'm keeping these sandles but the plastic toe posts are not comfortable and my only hope is that my feet will adapt. I do wear thongs and have not had this issue with others. As always the arch support is great and that's why I love Birks!

Like the look of Birkenstock sandals and I thought I had figured out the correct size to order but my regular size was much to big for me.

This is my 3rd time buying this exact shoe over the years and for the first time they didn't fit! I don't think it's my foot as other shoes I've repurchased recently fit the same as before. I don't know if they are making their regular width more narrow than before or what. I even tried returning and re-ordering another pair just in case it was a fluke but my foot hung over both sides. I can't size up because then it would be too long. I'm so disappointed because these were a "dressier" shoe than the classic Arizonas that went well with summer dresses and have been a staple in my wardrobe for years.

I have these already but they were wearing down so I ordered new ones. For some reason the fit seemed smaller than my current ones. Plus, the nub in between the big and second toe hurt too much for me to keep them. Overall, just too uncomfortable to wear. It may be different fits for everyone so maybe give it a try . Or maybe they changed the style/make so it's no longer as comfortable as they used to make them. Who knows? but these are going back.

Was very uncomfortable between the toes. The piece was too hard and not flexible.

Love Birks and have several pairs and have had dozens over the years. I ordered the Gizeh recently, in a regular 10 to replace the same that was worn out. I think maybe this pair was a narrow one, but it got marked as regular--it is at least .5 centimeters narrower than my newest 10 regular. I can't believe I have to send these back!

I've been wearing Birkenstocks forever - love the comfort and they last forever. But the construction of these seemed poor quality. It looked like the leather upper had slid out a bit after they glued it between the rubber sole and the cork footbed. I think I ordered three pairs, and they all had this same problem. I returned them all because it was an aesthetic defect, and maybe would become a durability problem.

The left one fit perfect but the right one was way too big. The right one would fall off my foot when walking but not the left one. I thought these were defective so I ordered another just like these and they were too wide, the toe part was very painful just on the left one, and the right one was longer. Really weird.

This was my second pair of Oil-Rubbed Leather Gizeh's in Tobacco, replacing a pair I've owned and loved for years. They've changed the leather for this style and it is NOT oil rubbed, nor does it look like the pictures on Zappos anymore - it looks like cheap faux leather and a totally different color. Felt slightly smaller too. So disappointed.

Oh my poor toes! The plastic piece between toes was not working for me, no matter how much I tightened the strap. So sad. Love Birkenstock and will get a diff style :)

The fit was very uncomfortable. I have owned other Birkenstocks that were magnificent. The piece that goes between your toes was a very very hard piece of plastic. I used lamb's wool to cushion the web part of my toes to try to break them in but it was useless. Very very painful. I want to return them. So, I went to a Birkenstock store and the salesperson questioned whether they were legit Birks. I wonder...

I like Birkenstock’s on other people, but I have yet to try a pair that fit my foot properly. They’re either too big or too small…and I’ve tried sizing up and down without luck. This pair looked good in the box but was too big. I wear a 6.5, sometimes a 7 and have tried various Birkie styles in 37 (which should be the appropriate size), 36, and 38. This 37 was enormous. After numerous attempts with several styles, I’ve decided that this brand is just not for me. ?. I must say that I have never had any problems with returns or exchanges from Zappos. Their response is always easy and swift. I’ll just keep looking.

I love the style, but the shoe coloration was completely different than the picture. The shoe is much, much lighter than the picture represented on the website. I couldn't help but be disappointed. The Birkenstock website has a more accurate picture of the shoe.

Unfortunately this sandel is not comfortable to the bottom of the feet. and The footbed is hard and my arches start to hurt. The arch is too high for my feet as my arch has flattened over the years. also I have narrow feet and my foot rubs on the edge it is so narrow.

I really love the look of this style AND my college age daughter swears by her Birks. I really wanted these to work. I am an average size 8 in just about everything. I first purchased the 8 and they were WAY too big. I ordered the 7 and they were better, size wise. I slipped them on and they felt hard as a rock. Perhaps I've been spoiled with better fitting, softer footbeds. I considered that perhaps I needed to adjust. (I truly wanted them to work) I walked a few steps and made the big girl decision that this would be a huge mistake. With a vacation upcoming and many steps to look forward to, there is absolutely no way this sandal will accommodate me. I gave it a valiant effort, however, and looked for the Arizona style 'SOFT' foot bed. Hoping for a more positive outcome.

I love my Arizona Birkenstock’s, but these are not comfortable. Between the toes there is an uncomfortable bump up similar to the arch. Unfortunately these didn’t work for me because they’re so cute.

I think I am one of those people who can't wear something between her toes. I wanted something different than my last pair of Birkenstocks and these felt ok at first, but after an hour or so they are irritating.

I have wanted Birkenstocks for years! I finally decided it was time. After wearing them for the summer (May to August) they really smelled and began breaking (the cork in the front of the shoes). I have several pairs of leather shoes that do not have foot-odor problems. It is disappointing that this is not the case with these shoes. Also, such a great quality pair of shoes should not be breaking after a couple months of wear.

This would've been my first pair of Birks, ever, but I had to send them back. The footbed was not as comfortable as I'd expected based on everything I've ever heard about Birkenstocks, the T-strap was too wide at the toes and looked awkward, and the thong was too thick and hurt my toes.

I don't understand the rave reviews on this sandal. The bottom sole is so hard the it bothered me between my toes. I've worn dozens of thong sandals with no problems but these hurt my feet. Don't mind paying the money for quality shoes and don't doubt they are good quality but not for me.

I ordered 8 pairs of shoes and this was the only one I was sure I was going to keep. Nope! They are horrible. The toe post is plastic and the flap cut into my cuticle when I wiggled my toes. And they were a full size bigger than the same size Birkenstocks I got last Summer (Mayori good, Gizeh bad).

The leather feels great, the hard piece between your toes is killer! It hurts so bad. I hate to send these back, but I have to.
