I initially ordered my size in these (Euro 39 as I am a US 8) and I had to return for a 38. I think the 38 might still be a touch big, but not enough that I feel like I need a 37. Super comfortable, great arch support and this particular version - the oiled leather - is comfortable on the top and sides of my foot. I tried on these same sandals in the "Birko-Flor" and the straps were not flexible at all and they felt like they would cut into the tops of my feet - not these, I have worn them 3 or 4 times already and they are very comfortable. The buckle adjusts the width significantly.

Love these sandals. You definitely need to size down one shoe size when buying them. I wear an 8 in women's and bought these in a 7 and they fit perfectly. It took a good 2 weeks to fully break them in and have them finally be comfortable, but they're worth it. Arch support is good and they don't slip or slide around on my feet.

Love the look! I needed to wear them around the house for a bit until they conformed to my feet and are now very comfortable. I normally wear 38, but these seem slightly larger than previous Birkenstocks but I think 37 would be too short. Customer service at Zappos is exceptional as these were a replacement pair of shoes.

I have this style in two colors and love them. They are simple, stylish and of high quality. Also important to me is the fact that I can comfortably walk for miles in them.

I am so happy with these!! I am not experiencing any difficulties breaking them in besides the regular break-in time for the footbed. Otherwise, they are already quite comfortable out of the box. I have also regularly worn flip-flops, so perhaps I am used to having something between my toes? Either way, I highly recommend these and the Yara style. They will be my go-to sandals for the summer.

This is my second pair of Giaehs, and I could not be more pleased. They are comfortable enough to wear all day long, and the style is more feminine and slimming in appearance. They offer great support as well. I usually wear an 8½, but order this shoe in a 39 as it does run a tad large.

I ordered these a size smaller, which was a mistake on my part. If you know your shoe size, go by Birkenstock's sizing chart. I contacted Zappos' customer service on line and they were great and I received my exchange quickly. For me, it took a small breaking in time to get used to the material between the first and second toes. After that, they are comfortable and I really love them.

Stylish and comfortable! Fits true to size. I'm usually a 8.5 and I ordered size 39, which fits perfectly. The only thing I was a little surprised by was the color. I expected Tobacco to be a little lighter; however, it's VERY similar to the Habana. I ordered both colors and could barely tell the difference.

Happy with this purchase. I no longer wear my old flop flops and wear my Birkenstocks for everything! Took about a week to break them in for comfort. I wear a 6.5 and the 37 still left a little room. I thought about returning for a smaller size but decided to keep the 37 and have a little extra room than risking too small.

Beautiful color, genuine leather, most comfortable sandal ever! Worth every penny. I am a half size (6.5 - 7 US size), so I got 37 in European and it fit perfectly! This shoes look beautiful with jeans, leggings or skirts.

Love the sandals, support your foot. Fast delivery is appreciated. I had also had purchased Ugg's Char in tan, out of box, they must have been custom made for me. I am wearing the Ugg's in black today (yes I ordered them later) custom made too! Put them on and can wear all day and night. Never purchased shoes that don't have any pinchie spots!

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks, and I did a lot of research before purchasing them. So I was aware of the uncomfortable break in period. And it was a little uncomfortable. But since then these are actually really comfortable. I don't like the hard plastic between my toes. But most of the time I don't notice it. The shoes themselves are fabulous and really supportive.

Never thought I'd buy a pair of Birkenstocks (thought they looked too weird) but I loved this pair so much I bought a second pair in a different style! Love the Oiled Leather Gizeh. Just know there is a breaking in period as the leather is stiff. Also, the oil can transfer to hem of white pants and discolor but did wash out. Extremely comfortable and attractive shoe!

So I had been warned and encouraged about the Gizeh--that yes, they have a pretty rigorous break in required, but once you've got it, they're a dream. I agree. I wear a 7.5-8, more 8, and got the 38, which was the perfect size. It took about 2 weeks with 4-5 days of all day wear and breaks in between (and some pretty sore spots) to get these right, but now they are amazing. The footbed broke in pretty fast, it's the structure of the piece between your toes (a stiff molded plastic) attached to the leather that took a while to soften up and for my foot to toughen up to. Now I don't want to take them off, which is saying something, as I have a broken sesamoid bone, super high arches, and chronic achilles tendinitis--most shoes are not my friends. These feel great. It's a really versatile style as well. Went with the soft brown leather (traditional Birk) and it looks nicely worn in. Recommend!

I did originally order a 38 since I normally am a 7.5. However, the 38 was too big so I exchanged them for a 37 and they are perfect. When I first put them on I wasn't sure I could get use to the toe thong so I only wore them around the house. Within an hour I didn't notice it any longer.

I bought these in the leather as I prefer it over the fabric. I got my usual size 8 1/2 and it fit well; the width was perfect too (I got the regular). I like the look of these and I especially like how comfortable they are. I never can go wrong with Birks. I like the arch support, especially for long walks. I have had plantar fasciitis and these have helped support my arch! Love! This style is so cute and they look adorable with polished toe nails!

I just received these sandals last week and love them already! I have been having some exercise related foot pain lately and these sandals feel so great! I love the oiled leather color as well. I would highly recommend.

Interesting. I ordered these in three different colors. The Habana felt good the minute I put them on. The thong will take a little getting used to, but nothing major. On the Black pair, the thong dug into my large toe - I don't think it would have worked itself out. And on the Tobacco pair, the whole shoe felt too big. Weird. I wear a 7-1/2 and the Size 38 fits perfectly. This style makes a Birkenstock just a little bit dressier and elegant. Cute with jeans and super cute with summer skirts and dresses.

These are my new favorite shoes! These are my first Birks and I am hooked! I was worried about comfort with my flat feet, but after a two day break-in, they are amazing.

I love Birkenstock's. I can wear them all day everyday and they never hurt my feet. I literally have put miles on my other ones without any foot problems (think walking the Vegas strip 3 times from end to end). I have had plantar fascia and I need shoes with arch support or they will ache. I got these because I liked the style. They are so cute on!! I wanted the leather, as I felt they would hold up better and I like how leather gets softer with wear. I would definitely recommend these!
