This is my second pair or the Gizeh sandals. They are my summer go to shoe, I leterally wear them with everything. I have flat feet and have found that I can no longer wear unsupportive flip flops anymore. They do take a few days to form to your feet but once hey do they are like wearing slippers. I never take them off! If you are debating, try them, they are worth it!

I went back and forth between these and the Mayari for so long and finally ended up with these. From other reviews I was worried about sizing and the toe post. I went with my regular size and was pleased it was a perfect fit. As far as the toe post, it only bothered me for about the first five minutes I wore them around the house then I didn't notice it at all. Because they're Birkenstocks they will be terribly uncomfortable for about the first week while I break them in but once that's over I have full faith they will be just as comfortable as all my others.

Love these shoes! Took about 2 weeks to break in but they fit amazing and the leather is gorgeous!

Classic and comfortable

I have arthritis I need my big toe joints and needed a sandal with firm support. This sandal provides that as well as comfort. The first size I ordered was a bit too big, but it was an easy exchange. From the first wearing, I could tell I would be able to walk in these for quite some time without pain. Love these - well worth the price!

I normally wear a size 7 and so I ordered a 38. They were huge, like skis on my feet! I went to a store that had them in stock locally to get a better idea of fit, and was told that they are running big this season. I ended up having to go 2 sizes down to a 36 and they are perfect. I love them!

The perfect sandal!

These are my favorite sandals! I like them a little better than the Arizona because they just fit my feet a little better and do not move around at all. After my feet grew due to pregnancy, I was unable to get this particular style in my size, otherwise I would have several pairs.

these are my favorite shoes; i would wear them year-round if i lived in a warmer climate. my last pair lasted me about five or six years until the soles wore down to a point where they looked a little scrubby, but i would still wear them if i could. now i’m just breaking in my new ones, and i got a couple blisters, but i know that it’s just a phase. once broken in, they’re like a second skin on my foot. i never had an issue with the thong piece between my toes on my last pair, and i don’t with this pair either. definitely measure your foot for the right size! i never would’ve guessed i’m a 38, but i followed the measurements and they fit perfectly. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

These are the cutest of the Birks in my opinion. They do run large. I’m a 9-9.5 with a medium to wide width foot. These I have to order a 39. I love them.

Beautiful sandal.. runs a little big. Takes a while to break them in but once you do they are perfect!

LOVE them. I replaced a 10-year old pair (with birko-flor) with these leather ones and they are perfect. I'm a solid size 8 and the 38s are perfect. The toe separator was not an issue for me and they felt comfortable to wear right out of the box. As always, Zappos provided superior customer service!

I have alot of Birkenstocks and this one took some getting used to around my toe. I always fine the style size to run a bit different. For reference I am a 6.5-7 and I take a 36 in these

Favorite sandal. Ever. Hands down. This is probably my fourth pair of Gizeh and I finally splurged on the oiled leather. So happy I did. Love the shoe, love the color and the feel of the leather.

These shoes are great, they mold to your feet and as long as you keep them clean-- will last a long time. The only thing to watch out for is the cork near the arch tends to split or crack due to pressure. So keep putting the cork sealer! otherwise these are my go to shoes for daily wear

I'm replacing a pair of Birkenstocks that i inadvertently burned when placing my feet too close to the campfire. Totally fine since they were 10 years old. The Gizeh are the perfect of summer shoe; comfortable and they only feel and look better with wear. This review is for Zappos..I'm consistently impressed by their outstanding customer support! Other companies could use a lesson from Zappos. A+ to you guys!

Very comfortable sandal. Felt great, nice color and fit. I wear 7 and 37 fit perfectly. I also tried 38 but it was too big. (I have Egyptian shaped feet).

Provided the perfect support post-surgery. Amazing and stylish!

As with any Birkenstocks, there is a break-in period, but it wasn’t too long before these became my favorite sandals.

Love, love, love my Birkenstocks! Took a couple of days to break in and then I never wanted to wear any of my other sandals! Went on a cross country trip with my mom and sister and wore them with every outfit.

These shoes have been lifesavers! After suffering with planters fasciitis, these doctor-approved sandals allow me to slip out of my sneakers and still get much needed support.

Love them and have worn daily since they arrived!

I returned the silver birko-flor and purchased the oiled leather. I've had a pair of florida birko-flors for years and they're great but opted for the leather gizeh's

Really cute Birkenstock! I love birk's but I would never claim them to be "cute". Not sure why I've waited so long try this style, but glad I did! Now ... I would like to address a couple things that were concerns of mine for my foot size/shape. First, my feet are fairly narrow. Other birks I have intermittently ordered narrow when possible ... but upon reading reviews I ordered the regular width, but a size smaller than I would have. I am a size 8-8.5, which I would have assumed a 39. I ordered these in a 38 regular width and they fit perfectly. Once wore in they may be slightly loose, or I can just add another hole. Second, these do take time to wear in! More so than any others I have bought. This is due to the toe area. Again, I had read reviews so I was expecting it. It has taken a couple weeks of wearing them 1-3 hrs at a time to build a callous on one of my toes that was irritated. Now, they are great! I would have to say, my favorite pair because they really are super cute and can be worn with most things!

My first pair of Birkenstocks and they are definitely worth the hype. These are hands down the most comfortable shoes that I have ever owned. No back or foot pain since wearing these. I need more in more styles and colors!
