I have been wearing this particular brand and style for several years now. It is great for walking and is immediately comfortable and no break-in period, which is how a good shoe should be. You can't go wrong ordering from Zappos, great customer service and speedy, too!

This sneaker is terrific! After knee surgery, an arthritic knee and issues with my feet, this sneaker solved my problems. Very comfortable and no knee pain. Sneaker is great, looks good too.

If you have narrow feet with no arches like me, this shoe is great! Typically, I've had luck with New Balance, but the shoe I was looking at (WW927) was not available in a narrow size, so I tried these from Brooks--my first ever Brooks purchase. After wearing them for two days now, I must say I am very happy with them, and can use them without putting my arch supports in them, like I typically must do with other shoes. My feet and legs feel good and my ankles do not tire so quickly as in the past with the NBs shoes. The built-in support coupled with the narrow size and 1/2 placement of the eyelets really makes a difference and the shoes feel like they are part of me. There is also enough room in the toe area so there is no rubbing/constraint going on there. My dress shoe size is 6 1/2 to 7, so I ordered a 7, but had to re-order 7 1/2 as size seems to run a bit small. I would recommend these shoes to a friend!

I ordered this shoe a size larger than I normally wear on the recommendation of the local runner's/walker's store. It is the only shoe I have had in 15 years that I didn't have to put an arch support in. I now own 4 pairs and love them! OK, it's not the cutest shoe in the world, but it feels like dancing slippers to me!

I normally wear medium (B), but with these, even just wide won't do; I have to buy as wide as I can get. I am on my feet 6-7 hours a day and they work very nicely. I also wear orthotics, no pain.

I love these shoes! I have long, narrow feet with some arthritis in knees and feet. I love to walk, and these shoes are so comfy! They run true to size, and unlike some narrow shoes, are roomy in the toe box but narrow through the rest of the foot (where it matters). I am going to order them in black, as well to wear with jeans. Not high style, but if they were, they wouldn't be as comfortable (and they don't look like old lady shoes).

This shoe is extremely comfortable. I have a very hard to fit foot. I wear an 11 in women's, so it is hard to find much of a selection in the stores. These shoes were a pleasant surprise. Although they would'nt win any beauty contests, they are not a bad looking shoe. If you are searching for comfort over looks, these are the shoe for you. The leather is of a very nice quality and is very soft. I did want a little more arch support than they provided, but that was easily fixed by replacing the insoles.

This shoe is extremely comfortable. I bought them for new orthotics. The liner is removable and the orthotics fit well, just slightly shorter than my other size shoes when I place the orthotics in them. The toe width is generous, so your toes don't become cramped. I am getting ready to use them for a walking vacation, so this was very important to me. I think the Brooks Addiction is the best walking and running shoes (I also bought the running shoe for overpronators)on the market. I tried several of the top reviewed shoes before I purchased the Brooks, but these felt like they had more support with comfort for an affordable price. As always, Zappos is the top place to purchase your shoes for selection, ease of shopping, fast shipping and returns.

These shoes are great. Not only am I a hard-to-fit size (10.5 Narrow), but I am also rehabbing a sprained ankle that needs lots of support.These shoes are wildly comfortable, good looking, and well-made. I can wear them all day, every day and my feet feel fabulous.

I have lost count on the number of Brooks Addiction Walker's I have gone through in the last few years. I have bad ankles and knees and if I wear anything else I have a lot of pain. These shoes are the most comfortable ever. I only order shoes from Zappos because the customer service is the best ever. Thank you Zappos.

I found this sneaker to be a dream come true. I walk around 3 miles everyday and had some feet issues with other sneakers. It's comfortable and holds up very well. I have no pain in my arch or heel anymore. My only complaint is that they are very warm in the summer months, but I don't get the same results with the mesh-designed sneakers. This is my 3rd or 4th pair of Brooks Addiction Walkers. I love them. Zappos is an awesome company to deal with online. I usually have the sneakers within 2 days of ordering them! Keep up the good work!

My second pair of Brooks Addiction Walkers. I have flat feet and have been troubled with plantar fasciitis and fallen arches or years. Since purchasing this shoe I have been able to walk with out pain for the first time. I have prescription orthotics but I don't use them until after the shoe is well broken in after a couple of months. The insoles that are built into the shoes are more than sufficient.

A shoe for a nurse - Aloha, I have been trying many shoes/sneakers as a nurse and these by far are the best yet. I am able to work 16 hours on my feet and not have an aching back or legs. I highly recommend them!

Great shoe for someone on their feet all day - You can wear this shoe all day the first time you wear it. May not look the sexiest but when your feet don't hurt after 10-12 hours, they're wonderful.

I love the shoes. I have only worn them a couple of days since I just got them. They are rubbing between toes in the same place on each foot and rubbing top of my feet, but not making blisters; just tender and red. I am confident that I will still enjoy them. My only complaint is that they are SUPER SLIPPERY; when I step in any water or even on a damp floor. I have almost fallen a few times in just two days of wearing. I am a little concerned about that.

Great work shoes. I walk miles as a RN in a 12 hour shift. This shoe takes the punishment. Works great with orthotics. Spend the extra for the 08. Have the Addiction Walker. Didn't last as long and was not as supportive. This is my second pair!

Walking Shoe - Comfortable walking shoe; good support!

My favorite shoes! This is my fourth pair of these shoes. They last and last and are the most comfortable shoes ever. Totally hooked on them!

Excellent comfortable shoe - This is the third pair of Brooks Addiction I have bought. They are a wonderful shoe for walking. I need a wide shoe and these provide a lot of room for my toes.

Very Satisfied. I have very bad and complicated injuries to both feet and misalignment in my spine. It is hard to get a shoe to fit my very narrow and injured feet. Sometimes I have to try a few times to get it right as I get tired of wearing the same shoe every day. I love the Propet but recently had trouble getting the color I wanted. I tried the Brooks, AA Addiction and found it an excellent fit, really good in the heel as I have a Quad A heel and it looks good. Most shoes seem to be made for teenagers with a lot of colors and bells and whistles and huge soles. I can wear my Brooks with slacks and jeans and it looks reasonably "dressy". Because of the injuries and a cane I never wear dresses anymore because of the shoe problem. Everything looks stupid with a dress! There is a shoe that is made of rubber with a high heel that I used to wear a lot but they did not make it for years. It came out again last year as a GUESS "Jacielynn" wedge. But the heel was TOO high for me. It is still too sporty for most dresses but could work with a tailored suit for people who have had to stop wearing dresses because of the shoes available. I would prefer someone to modify that "rubber", wedge heel height, keep the lace up for the support needed but make it less obvious and they might have a shoe that people who need the support and want a heel, could wear for dressier occasions. I was a professional singer/dancer all of my adult life and the injuries came from stage work. But the Capezio dancer’s shoe, with a moderate heel, is too hard on the fractured areas of my right foot.
