These were suggested to me by a shoe expert when I asked for what the Dr. ordered. Something for pronation and a sturdy, no wobble heel structure. That said, these are very comfy. I have had 4 pair of these and keep coming back. There is a beige color too. Sometimes I change the removable inserts with another good pronation arch and comfy heel because the shoes last a long time. Toe room is fabulous-no rubbing at all in these shoes.

Most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. I have very flat feet and these shoes helped tremendously. Arrived in record time also.

This is a great shoe that I have worn for years! At first it feels snug but then it loosens up a little. I have pronated ankles and the shoe holds its shape rather than falling in. I go for a walk several times a week and these shoes hold up! I highly recommend them.

These are my new go-to shoes for use on concrete floors. They have great arch support, something I recently discovered was critical to my foot comfort. The toe box is a nice size for wiggle room. I found the shoelaces a bit short, but they don't come undone readily, so this is less of a problem than with other shoes. They are a little sporty looking, but are not too odd to wear with dressier trousers. Zappos had the right size and color, and they had even preserved a balance in my account for 6 months.

This type of shoe was recommended by my physical therapist - and I am glad he did. The shoe gives firm support and yet, is light, comfortable and provides good shock absorption. Most shoes with these qualities only come in super bright white. The dove gray is definitively a plus.

I have achilles tendinosis on both sides. I work in retail sales in a hardware store with lots of lifting and, walking on hard floors all day. These shoes have given me a good deal of support for my ankles and arch. I like the lining material as well, it does not bunch up my socks. The toe box is wide and high, so they don't crunch the front of your foot. I did order one size larger than I normally wear, and that was just right. I recommend these shoes; they give good support and are comfortable all day long. The order process and shipping were fast and easy. I received my order much sooner than I expected!

Talk about comfort! This is the shoe for you if you are on your feet a lot or walk long distances during the day or on your job. Buy this shoe.

These are the best shoes. I'm a nurse and spend long hours on my feet. I'm also an overpronator and have plantar fasciitis. These shoes correct the overpronation and accommodate my orthotics prescribed for PF. The physical therapist looked at my shoes and said they were great for PF. Also, Zappos has the best price and the fastest shipping. I ordered the shoes in the evening and they arrived the following afternoon.

These are great shoes if you have wide feet and a tendency towards overpronation. I bought these shoes to help support my feet when I long-distance walk. I find that my Achilles Tendon does not bother me at the end of a long walk. I like the sturdiness and support these shoes give me. The shoe has plenty of depth in the front (toe box) which most shoes today seem to lack. If you have a wide foot from front to back, your toes and instep will be crushed due to poor depth. I highly recommend these shoes.

These are very good shoes. This is my first pair of Brooks Addiction Walker shoes in black. I wear them for my commute but I also keep them on all day. They are much better than wearing white sneakers and blend in well with my boot cut pants. I recommend these shoes and buying through Zappos. The convenience, consistency and amazingly quick delivery makes Zappos stand out from the rest.

This shoe is fabulous! Our friends had these shoes on a trip to China in very cold weather...their feet stayed warm and ours froze. We decided to try the Brooks Addiction Walkers and are so glad we did. On a recent trip to Germany, with lots and lots of walking and cold cobblestone pavements, our feet could not have been happier. The shoes fit well, give great support, and best of all are extremely lightweight to wear. A definite keeper! Last but not least, hats off to Zappos for such great customer service. Shoes were delivered rapidly and customer service could not have been more helpful.

I bought this shoe a half size larger as recommended by a number of reviewers, but found it was much too roomy. I re-ordered it in my correct size, 10.5 in this style as well as the V-strap style and chose the V-strap as it fit better. The toebox in the 10.5 Medium in this style was still too roomy. I have this shoe in the white/silver in 10.5 Narrow (purchased locally years ago), perhaps it's the "Narrow" that gives it a better fit for me in the toebox.

I have purchased these shoes previously and really love them. Great support and very comfortable out of the box. Having worked customer service and sales for a number of years, I can say that Zappos is the epitome of customer service and other companies could take a lesson from how they operate their company.

These look good and feel comfortable but they pulled my socks under my heel into a wad under my foot.

I've been buying this shoe for several years now and I really like it. I wear an orthotic which fits well in the shoe and the combination gives me a comfortable, stable walking platform. I walk for exercise daily and haven't found anything I like better. It is addictive!

Here's the truth, it is two days before I leave for Spain and Portugal for a long trip with lots of walking every day. I keep padding around the carpet wondering if these shoes will be too hot. I am not concerned about the comfort because I have had three pairs of addiction athletic shoes and they provide great cushioning. So tick tock. I have tried about thirty pairs of shoes for my aging feet hoping to avoid the old lady look. I'll take my Softwalk Mary Janes for dress up. I have one other pair of shoes to try before making a decision, black Brooks Addiction in mesh. Zappos does not carry them and I had to special order them from a fitness store. But they haven't arrived yet.

Love this shoe. I have a long narrow foot and over pronate. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit period. As others have said, I haven\'t even had to use my inserts yet. Fit well, comfortable and look as stylish as a size 12 can look.

I ordered the shoe in the same brand & same size as the one I was measured for & bought here but it ran a little smaller. It's at the shoe repair now being stretched. Otherwise I like it very much. I would order it again, only in 1/2 size larger. It is built to be worn with orthotics which I do by removing the inner sole.

I have foot problems and need to wear arch supports. I have to be selective in the shoes I wear and the Brooks Walker is the best I\'ve found. My arch supports fit easily into them without taking out the innersole - a big plus! Shoes support the foot well but still flexible.

This is my 2nd pair of Brooks Addiction Walker. I am in the medical profession and wear athletic shoes with my scrubs. It's not easy to find a shoe that keeps me comfortable and lends my feet the proper support for the entire day spent in a busy doctor's office. Brooks Addiction Walker is just such a shoe. I love it and recommend it without reservation.

This is my 3rd pair of these shoes, I work 12 hour shifts and I love them! Even more I loved getting them for less than half the price I normally pay at Foot Solutions. Zappos rocks!

I've owned Brooks walking shoes in the past so I figured I couldn't go wrong with these. I was right! These shoes are so soft & comfortable and very supportive. Great arch placement and support which is a big thing for me. I ordered the 'wide' and it is definitely roomy.
