These are becoming an every year must have at our house. Only reason for a new pair each year is my son's foot keeps growing. Thye are warm, easy to put on, easy to clean up. Great for everyday in MN.

Excellent kid's boot! I love Keen's because they fit my child's wide foot and the Kootenay isn't any different. My son says they are comfortable and don't "squeeze" his feet like most other shoes.

You cannot go wrong with Keen brand shoes, especially for kids. They are durable, easy to put on and take off, and they always look great.

I normally wear a size 7 in woman's, so I ordered a size 6 kids. It was too big, so I returned it and got a size 5. They fit perfectly! These are comfortable and I wore them the entire day the first day I got them! What do I like the best about them? My grandson has a pair too and we're "twins!"

These are my 10 year old son's second pair of Keen Kids Kootenay. The black ones are every bit as nice as the brown ones were. They are sturdy, quick and easy to put on, good on snow/ice and comfortable, as ordinarily he wears a wide shoe.

Great boot! True to size. If your child has wide feet he will love these! Very comfy. Easy to get on and off. Sturdy for outdoor play. (The fur is only on the collar).

These boots are great. My son is now wearing the same pair for the third Chicago winter! Still look in great condition. About to order another pair in a bigger size. These are great for when there is snow and sleet. My son never complained about them not being waterproof - I just assumed they were.

Excellent quality, awesome looks! My son fell in love with them from the moment we took them out of the box. Even though he only wears wide and extra-wide, these ones fit perfectly in regular size (even with insoles).

These boots are wonderful - perfect mid-season boot (the fur doesn't line the whole boot - just the top edge). My son wears a wide shoe, and these fit well.

This is our third year of my son wearing the Keen Kootenay hiking boots. He LOVES these shoes - super comfy and so easy for him to put on by himself. We got the black this year for something different - I have to say, they are sooo cute and look great with his wardrobe. They run about one size small;, I would suggest sizing up one size.

I loved the look and ease of these boots, but honestly, my son never reached for them first. The whole point was to give him an easy-on/easy-off option during the winter, and they were never his go-to shoes. Don't know why, he just never clicked with them. Once he said they felt funny on his toes, so maybe they run small? Too bad, they are a sharp looking boot.

These are really nice boots. In fact, I would describe them as darling. Like other Keen shoes, they appear to be well made and fit my daughter very well. My daughter is handicapped and we needed nice boots with Velcro. The ankle part of the boot is roomy and easy for her to slip on and off.

I got these boots for myself. I wear a woman's 6 and the youth size 5 fits well, plenty wide for heavy socks. The fuzzy lining is only at the top, kinda disappointed in that. Overall I'm pleased and they fit their purpose for me, something to were when it's only a little messy out.

Our kid loves these boots, says they are very comfortable, always chooses them over his sneakers. Very easy to take on/off. Sole is not very long wearing though, especially considering the relatively high price (for a child's shoe). His brother literally wore a hole in his last pair, but still a good purchase overall. Not waterproof.

These shoes are well made. My son can easily put these on, and he says they are comfortable. My only gripe is the fleece lining is looking shaggy only after a few wearings.

We are family fans of Keen shoes. My son has had these shoes in the last two sizes he likes them very much and they are wide in the front, good flexible sole, comfortable, warm, and the sole holds up (he drags his feet when he rides his scooter). But now they seem to be too large around the foot/ankle. The length is right, but he cannot get them tight-enough to walk.run comfortable in them.

The shoes fit perfectly my sons' feet, for some reason when he wore them the first time, left shoe felt tight he even cried because of it, then we tried different socks a bit thinner than the previous ones and he complained no more, the materials are original and nice to feel with your hand, the style of the shoes is the best your money can buy.

These always seem one size larger - my son wears 4 in all other shoes but 3 in these fit him perfectly. These are great boots - warm bit but bulky.

Super cute boot for boys, works great with jeans. Good in rain and cold in southern US.

I bought this for myself and I love it! I have small feet and I can easily wear big kids shoes/boots. These are so comfortable and wide around the width of my feet. So quick and easy to get in and out of these boots with the velcro. These are great for in between snow storms.

Good but a bit bigger than size

I buy my son a pair every single fall and they last all the way through spring! I wash them in my washing machine several times per season and they come out sparkling clean.

These boots are very comfortable and cute. I bought them for myself, as I have small feet. I was able to take out the insoles and out in more supportive orthotics. I am happy with this purchase!
