I have had my North Face Parka for 1 year and it by far still my favorite ever! Light weight yet the warmest of any coat I have owned.

I purchased two coats before this, from very reputable companies in the East, for my daughter who is in college. I took them both back as she said they weren't warm enough. My college daughter says this coat is absolutely perfect, comfortable and warm. The only downside is the down (no pun intended) seems to occasionally peak through the material and eventually comes out, but overall it's a great coat. It is a bit pricey, but I love Zappos for the customer service and super-fast shipping.

I love my new parka, it is very light and really warm. The 2-way zipper makes it easy to drive your car and the hood is warm and cozy when I walk the dog. Slightly fitted style good for both day and evening. A great purchase - I love the grey color.

This is a great, warm coat. I know that The North Face tends to run small, so I went a size larger, and it fit perfectly.

I have really wanted this coat for over a year but didn't really need to buy a new one. This winter the coat I normally wear got multiple holes in it and I couldn't decide if I wanted to buy a new coat or not since it is the end of February already. Well, I ordered this coat over the weekend and received it yesterday. Let me just say it is the best purchase I have ever made! The coat is so incredibly warm and the inside of the pockets and end of sleeves are fuzzy and I am so happy I bought it! Definitely worth the money!

I had been looking for a new warm parka for over a year. Many that I viewed on-line and almost purchased had reviews that warned of poor quality and zippers that caused a struggle each and every time they were used; then I found this North Face Parka. This truly fits the bill although I would have liked fur trim on the hood, but am making due without it. I live in Minnesota and need a warm parka for at least two weeks every winter. Purchased the white/grey and love it. Very comfy - not stiff - the zipper works like a charm - and it keeps me warm. Love it! Definitely recommend! I wear a 10-12 and ordered the large which is perfect.

This is my first North Face coat. Got it as a gift from my husband who raves about his. The coat is the warmest coat I have ever owned. Despite being three-quarters long, it is the lightest coat I own. Swamp Green color is a nice neutral green that seems to match with a variety of colors.

I finally found a down coat that doesn't look like a house! This coat is so warm and incredibly lightweight. Good quality and nice pockets. Excellent service by Zappos, too.

This parka was exactly what I expected. We were headed to the Big Chill at Michigan Stadium and I needed this coat fast. Zappos never disappoints! The delivery was at my door the next day...at no special charge. Love Zappos service and quality products.

Love this coat! I wanted a warm coat that wasn't so huge and puffy. This is very lightweight, but with the 600 fill down, it has kept me very warm the few days I have it had. It has been in the teens to twenties as of late in Chicago and I am very happy with the purchase of this coat. It is my first North Face coat and I don't think it will be my last! I order the Bittersweet Brown and it is very rich/deep brown with a subtle sheen to the fabric. It is not a dull boring brown, like some of the brown coats I have seen.

I absolutely love this coat. I wish I would have purchased it years ago! It fits perfect, is lightweight and is comfortable whether I am taking a walk or sitting at the ice rink. Also love the quick delivery Zappos offers. Couldn't be happier.

I bought the North Face woman's Metropolis Parka for my daughter for Christmas. She says it is cozy, and comfortable and keeps her warm as she walks to and from her job in downtown Boston. She loves it! Thank you Zappos. Excellent quality--great service!

Great coat! Really warm and comfortable. Size small fits me well and I am 5'4", 110 lbs. My only complaint is that the pockets sit a bit too high. Otherwise, love the coat and the swamp green color. Thanks, Zappos, for quick service as always.

I love this jacket. It is extremely warm, eliminating the necessity for layers. The length keeps me warm on the playground with my students.

It took me a long time to finally order this coat because of the cost, but I'm very glad I did. The fit is just what I expected and wanted; the proportions are good; the hood came in handy on a snowy day. The quality seems good. I can see wearing this coat for many years. My daughter picked this coat for her Christmas present. She absolutely loves it. The fit is perfect, slim to body but not at all tight, not bulky feeling, but warm and cozy. The hood helps for the really cold days. The color is great too, goes with all color hats and scarves. Overall this is a great coat!

Love this coat and Zappos. It is so (surprisingly) lightweight and so warm. Also, the color is not a bright white (which I originally wanted); it is more of a slight grayish white/silvery but not metallic - it's beautiful and I think much nicer than bright white. I get tons of compliments on the coat and the color. So warm. And for the taller girls, the sleeves are long so your wrists don't get cold. I love it. Buy one!

This coat is the most snuggly warm coat I have ever had! It's not too bulky, very light weight and perfect for the frigid temperatures in Eugene, Oregon.

Best coat I've owned for running around the city. It is warm, lightweight and cute. The feathers keep sneaking out but that is always an issue with down. I'm a size 14-16 and XL is great to put a sweater on under. Arms are plenty long but nice flannel for keeping hands warm. Love the hood.

This coat keeps you warm without being bulky. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
