Ara Bella (graphite/black) just arrived and they are "out-of-the-box" comfortable. The graphite is darker than depicted -- a great shade of metallic gray (a good thing!) and the leather is soft without appearing to be too delicate. The shoe clears the bunion area with no seams inside the shoe transitioning from patent toe cap to the body of the shoe to irritate those of us with "Princess-and-the-pea" feet. I had no problem with the sides hitting my ankle bone. I wear a 7 1/2 (Paul Green shoes) or an 8 and the 8 was perfect. The cut of the shoe is more of a skimmer than a ballet but for those of us that find a ballet irritating to delicate spots this is a delightful compromise. It's a wear-with-anything at any time kind of shoe and I look forward to more color options. The arch support seems to be good although not in the same category as Mephistos. Adorable shoe/great color combo/Zappos service equals a winning combination!

Possibly the most comfortable flat I've tried in many years! And pretty. Also, if you have a bunion, this shoe will cover it and not rub. However, if you have a narrow heel, this shoe may gap some.

I need a shoe that has some arch support and a cushioning sole...I have old ladies feet, but do not want to look like an old lady. These shoes seem to fit the bill so far.

I have many Ara shoes. I have bunions and cannot wear ballet style shoes. This style covers my bunion and I can wear them all day. They look good with jeans and skirts. Super comfortable shoe. I would recommend to anyone with foot pain.\r\n

Wonderful shoes! I am not a fan of flats, so I was hesitant about getting a pair for a trip to Paris. But having owned Ara shoes before, I decided to try this pair. They fit perfectly, and you can wear them with or without stockings. They have a nice cushiony insole which makes them super comfortable for walking on a all surfaces. Very stylish too. The coppery/bronze color goes with so much, and the black patent dresses them up. I'll be wearing these with everything from jeans to dresses in France. So glad I bought a pair.

I usually wear a 6 1/2 but this shoe runs big and I needed a 6. It is very comfortable and looks great with jeans or slacks. It's a keeper!

Very comfortable from the minute you put them on...great arch and foot-bed support/comfort; Would love them also in just plain leather and/or suede without the patent toe and bow...in black, chocolate, navy, etc.

I ordered these about 1.5 years ago for my grandmother, who is now 96. It was one pair out of about 5. After she tried the other styles on, we sent the rest back and kept these. Now she's asking to me to purchase another pair because she wears these all day, everyday, around the house and outside. She says they're very comfortable.

A great, comfortable shoe that I wear all the time while shopping, visiting museums and other recreational activities. The padded foot bed helps take the pain out of covering miles and miles on cement sidewalks and other hard surfaces. I have four pairs of various colors.

I love them! Just received the Bella in the Bronze Leather/Mocha trim. They are not only beautiful and stylish, but comfortable right out the box. The shoe also appears to be very well made and I anticipate that this will not be the last Ara shoe purchase for me. So with that said, because this is a shoe that can easily go from day to night or suit to jeans, it only makes sense to incorporate it into your shoe wardrobe. Good luck!

These flats are the most comfortable flats I've ever worn. The leather is like butter. The shoe wears beautifully and can be dressed up or down. I now own three pairs in different colors. They look great with everything.

These shoes are very cute and very professional-looking. I bought them as a flat alternative to wear with a black business suit and they look awesome with the black pants! They are overall comfortable and although they were a little stiff out of the box they loosened up quickly. My only complaint is that they have an extra small piece of fabric right at the Achilles, which creates 2 small seams across the black rim on the very back of the shoe. This seems like a small detail but almost made the shoes unwearable until I put some moleskin (and eventually a little heel pad) in the back of the shoe. Once those seams were covered up I fell in love with these shoes!

It is tough to find navy flats and these are very pretty and comfortable.

These ballerina slippers are so comfortable and well made. I usually fit into a size 8.5 or 9.0, depending on designer. I ordered the 8.5 and the fit is perfect.

I wore these shoes for 4 hours of shopping right out of the box and my feet were as comfortable as if I had worn tennis shoes. I can't say enough good things about this shoe.

This is a very pretty shoe. I try to wear ARA as often as I can because I have difficult feet and they are wonderfully comfortable. True to size.

After wearing them for a week, I ordered another pair. A wise friend once advised that if you fall in love with a shoe, you ought to have at least two pairs. These shoes are so comfortable, timelessly stylish and versatile. Buy a pair!!!
