Great Looking Shoes for Special Needs Child - We’ve looked everywhere for this size shoe with velcro for our special needs grandson. You came thru for us and best of all they are from New Balance. They've got the same perfect comfort as other New Balance shoes and are made so our grandson can help himself. I too would like these shoes. Keep it up!

Finally - a large shoe! I ordered these sneakers for my boyfriend. We took a day to hit the local shops for him to try on sneakers (it was not a fun day) with no luck. The athletic shoe store told me they don't make half-size shoes in the larger sizes and don't go past a size 12. Now, even I know that can't be true! Having had good luck for myself on Zappos, I started a search. He needs a 12-1/2W in order to accommodate his orthotics, and he needs a good shoe due to being diabetic. I ordered these for him, we got them 2 days later, and they fit great (no problem with short velcro straps). I knew that, if they didn't fit, it wouldn't be an issue because of Zappos great service, but we got it right the first time! Thank you so much, Zappos!

From the moment the shoes were put on, they've been very comfortable. Velcro closures add both to comfort and ease of putting on.

My favorite shoes - I keep searching for an exact replacement whenever these wear out, which is why I'm on this web site. I usually have a clean pair for outdoors and a yard work pair. I get fatigued more quickly wearing boots so I use these for a lot of heavy work they're really not designed for. I get them wet all the time but they hold up pretty well. Most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I don't have a problem with the strap length that others mention but maybe it is because I keep getting the 4E size, which is probably a little wider than I really need. On regular dress shoes EEE is usually good enough for me, even still a little loose. Anyway, if these fit you well I think you'll like them a lot. I've gone through either 3 or 4 pairs in the last few years (can't remember exactly). I like them that much.

Solid comfort and convenience - Bought this shoe for my husband who is disabled and has a hard time walking. He also needs the velcro closure due to coordination problems. New balance is the shoe recommended by physical therapists because of the support. I recommend these for people who need solid support, comfort, and ease.

Great quick and Comfortable - A very quick and comfortable shoe to slip on and take the dogs for a walk or run down to the store. This is my third pair and they take a beating and give excellent life even though I am hard on them.

Great shoe! This shoe is very comfortable, wide enough for my husband's feet.We always have trouble finding a shoe that comes in many widths.

Comfort shoes - These shoes are a good buy and I've never had faster delivery anywhere! My husband is in a nursing home and he needs this style + the wider width. So I am very pleased in finding a good pair he can use so comfortably and yet they look good too. The wider toe space is welcome also. Oh, re: that strap people mentioned – it may be a little shorter than expected, but it reaches alright and my husband also has a high instep to cover.

Like walking on clouds! These shoes are so comfortable you don't really know you have them on. They fit perfectly; the comfort is wonderful. And, yes, they have a look about them that defies their purpose. Thanks so much for the price I paid.

Big foot comfort - I got these for my husband who has a very difficult time finding shoes in his size that are comfortable. These fit well and were comfortable from the box. Also, the hook and loop make for easy and fast on/off. Thanks Zappos! Don't know what I'd do without you.

My 93-year-old dad has worn this shoe for years. The one problem we have to put a grommet hole at the end of each strap so he can put his grabber point in it to fasten the strap. Would you consider this for a line of shoes? Thanks.

This is just one of several pair I have purchased for my husband. Each time, he is very pleased with the shoe. It fits perfectly. He has a very wide foot, so that's important.

Great product - Excellent true to size fit. The shoes are excellent for gentlemen with foot swelling. They are easy to get off and on.

New Balance Shoes - I bought these for my 85 year old father. He loves them. He loves the velcro strip instead of laces. Fit is great.

My husband has a hard time finding shoes that fit properly, are wide enough in the toe area, and provide support. These shoes felt wonderful on his feet as soon as he put them on. No break in time. He wears them all the time on weekends and says it is easier to walk in them for their support as he has bad knees and hammertoe.

SUPER ZAPPOS - I found these New Balance walking shoes about 8 or 10 years ago. I have an odd size foot and it is nice to have found a shoe that fits properly. I keep three pairs on my shoe rack. Black, Bobe, and my last pair for rough work. Zappos shipping is great. Thanks.

Great Shoes - I purchased these for my father who has swelling in his feet. These are wonderful shoes for him. The shoes are well made and very comfortable. I would definitely purchase another pair for him. Great shoes.

Great shoe for work. I wear these shoes for work, and they are great. I fix computers at homes and small businesses so I do a lot of walking and often need to take my shoes off when I enter homes. The hook and loops make for quick and easy on and off.

New Balance hook and loop - Bought these shoes for my father-in-law. He has multiple health problems that make putting his shoes on very hard. These shoes are the best we have found for someone who needs easy on/off. Also good for his impaired balance.

My first Zappos order - I ordered size 7-1/2, and received size 12-1/2. The size difference was quite funny. I called customer service, and the young lady at Zappos was awesome.
