The shoes are very comfortable, easy to put on and take off. I was pleased to find that New Balance made a velcro strap shoe. I bought the shoes because I had surgery on my shoulder and couldn't tie regular lace type shoes.

Durable, comfortable, and all-leather make this shoe a solid buy. Typically an 'E' width fits me better, but these are generous 'D' width shoes, so they fit me just fine! I'm not a fan of velcro, yet the straps are designed well. Since this is an all-leather shoe, it takes some breaking in to get rid of the initial loud squeak from the tongue rubbing against the shoe (a few days of wearing) and then the much more quiet overall squeak (may be a month or so). Otherwise I've used it in the snow, on asphalt, on cement, on earth, and in-doors; it's comfortable everywhere.

I got these for my 11 year old son. He has a very wide foot and these fit well. He often complains that other shoes are too tight. He also likes the velcro closure.

I have had this model of New Balance shoes for for a significant number of years. All shoes were comfortable. The lasted a long time and were of great value. I really enjoy the hook and loop.

My husband really liked the New Balance MW927 shoes I purchased previously. The MW576 seems to be too narrow to accommodate his orthotic.

I already knew I liked this shoe, so it was easy to choose this one. What I didn't expect was that they would arrive the very next day after I ordered them. That may not be normal, but it sure put a smile on my face. Zappos has terrific customer service! Oh, these are great walking shoes. They are the most comfortable I have found for my extra-wide feet.

Simply the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Great support, great cushioning. I wear these with orthotics without having to remove the cushioning insole that comes with the shoes, and the combination is perfect.
