These shoes are wonderful - I work 8 hours as a nurse on a carpeted cement floor so I need comfort and these deliver. I wear a size 9.5 but needed a 1/2 size larger in these. They have good arch support and my legs do not ache at the end of my shift. I will purchase these again.

This is my fifth pair of Nimbus! I run average 20 miles per week and I can always count on the gel-nimbus for comfort whether for long runs or just all-around work-out. There are lighter shoes if speed is your main concern and I have tried many others - but I always come back to the nimbus!

Great Shoe - This is the 6th pair of this shoe that I have purchased. I am an avid walker and put many miles on these shoes with no problems. When I receive my new shoes I am ready to go without any break-in time. The toe bed is wide which is perfect for me. I normally wear a size 7 shoe but I order these in 8 1/2 because I take out the insole and put my orthotics in. Shoe actually looks better than picture. Zappos service is excellent!

Very Pleased - The overall fit was true-to-size, it is very well cushioned which is just what I was wanting for more mileage. I'm training for a 1/2 marathon - and these shoes are great!!

Great shoe. The Asics Gel Nimbus are a great running/walking shoe. They are very comfortable but make sure that you buy a half size larger than what you normally wear. The shoe runs small. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and I ordered a 9 and it is perfect! Zappos is awesome and has quick shipping! I will definitely buy from Zappos again.

My perfect shoe - A local running shop recommended this shoe. I regularly participate in STEP classes and do some running (58 yrs old). I find the shoes very comfortable - they must be right for me b/c I can really tell when it's time to replace them - I start to have knee pain - which is immediately gone when I get a new pair! BTW - my running shop recommended buying this shoe 1/2 size larger than usual - not b/c it "feels smaller" but b/c of the swelling that develops w/ running/STEP.

Fabulous Shoes - I purchased this shoe after several suggestions from my Ortho Doc. Try them on and see. Well, with recovering from surgery to correct Plantar Fascitis and Achilles Tendonitis I am happy to say after being down for a great deal of time recouping that this pair of shoes has been a life saver! I started working out and exercising and have to say that I feel so strong in these shoes. The support is amazing around the ankle and my heels do not hurt nor do the bottom of my feet! I have been blessed with a good Dr. and with purchasing these shoes! Any one who is overweight and needs extra cushion for their feet I say choose these shoes hands down. They are great and I do also recommend going up a 1/2 size to a full size for perfect feet.

Comfortable - These shoes are the most comfortable sporting shoes I have ever owned. I am a teacher who is on her feet 7 hours straight on concrete floor. They are very comfortable. They are so lightweight that I can hardly tell I am wearing shoes. Good job!!!!!! I would buy another pair like these, will remember the gel shoes.

Super comfortable trainer - Have been running and training in the Gel Nimbus for about 2 years now. Very cushioned ride! I'm an average size/weight, neutral runner and I love the feel of this shoe. I size up 1 full size in these from my regular shoes.

BEST running shoe - Just got these a few days ago in the mail. I had to write a review since the previous reviews for this shoe helped me make the RIGHT decision. I ordered the color White/Hot Pink/Lightning after not being happy with the color selection of this exact shoe at another store. SOO glad I did, they are a bright fuchsia pink and really stand out, these really are great looking/flashy shoes. VERY comfortable but also provide a lot of support which I need. Make sure to order a 1/2 size up. I normally take a size 8 in Asics (normal shoes size is actually 7 1/2) but I needed an 8 1/2. I took out the insert to put in my orthotics, not a problem at all. They are perfect! Great buy, I am extremely happy.

Great Shoe! I overpronate badly and have been struggling with finding a shoe that works for me. So far these shoes have been great. I took the advice of the other reviews and ordered a half size up and they fit perfectly (I usually wear 11 and I ordered 11.5). I would definitely recommend these shoes!

Great Fit - These were a great pair of shoes, I just wish I had listened to the other reviewers and ordered a half size bigger. Now my color isn't available.

New Favorite! I have been running for years and have always purchased Nike. A friend told me to try Asics. After a little research, I went with the Gel-Nimbus 10. I have a new favorite. These shoes were perfect from the first run. Others said the shoe ran small, but I didn't have a problem. I ordered my regular size and they fit great.

AWESOME!!! I've been wearing this style shoe for 3 years now and I love it!!! Super comfortable and gives me all the support I need. The only thing you should be aware of is that it does not run true to size. I typically wear a size 10, but in this shoe and any other running shoe, I have to order a size up.

Best running shoe ever - I have been an athlete for many years and have worn all sorts of sneakers including Nike, New Balance, Saucony, Brooks, and now these. These sneakers are great shock absorbers and they grip your heel firmly with running or any step. I just bought my second pair to stock up.

Walking Shoe - I am 73 years old and have to walk 5 days a week by doctor’s orders. This shoe is the BEST. No breaking in, just walk. The support is great, the instep support, too. I love my Gel-Nimbus.

Excellent shoe - I've had these shoes about a month. They are so comfortable... the reviews on this site really helped me find the right shoe. I order one size larger than my regular shoe size, as per other purchasers, and this was the right decision.

Flashy but super-comfy!! I was shocked that I could just put a new running shoe on and not have an extensive (painful) break in period! No blisters, no discomfort, no problem. I am a mild underpronator, and these shoes work perfectly for me. They seemed very 'silver' after having very plain shoes in the past, but you get used to it! They do fit small, so order up a half-size. And thank goodness Asics come in giant sizes, too. I can't imagine going back to New Balance after these! They may seem pricey, but the comfort factor is worth it. The memory foam around the ankle is wonderful. Love, love, LOVE these shoes. Zappos, I can't quit you!!!!

I was so sick of seeing Uggs everywhere, and wanted a durable, attractive winter boot. I absolutely love these. Incredibly warm and comfortable. I've worn these on errands, around the house, and on long walks on the trail with my dog.

Great running shoe! I have been running in New Balance for the last few years but decided to try the Gel Nimbus after all of the rave reviews. I am very happy with my purchase!

Shoe runs small! This would have been my 4th pair of ASICS, but these run small. Too bad I can't order up since I wear a 13!

Very comfortable, but definitely order half a size up.

I love my shoes!!! It's great to be able to get a pair of 11.5 N. The only thing about this shoe to remember is that sizing is 1/2 size off. So, order up one-half size. I am SO happy with these shoes.

These seem like they are going to be great shoes. I have worn them for about three weeks, mainly running. These are my first Nimbus having been a Cumulus fan for years. The latest Cumulus 10s hurt my toes with the way the toe was stitched. I did follow the advice in the reviews and ordered a whole size larger than I get in street shoes. Normally I get 1/2 size larger in running shoes. They are a bit long, but my usual running 7 1/2s were short - I had ordered both. The narrow width helps considerably as did creative lacing to keep them tighter on my foot. The cushioning is very good. I have had no trouble breaking them in and it looks like they will last very well. I have always loved the Cumulus until now and it would be my preference were the toe problem to be resolved due to the price difference and the fact that it seems a bit lighter. However, I am really enjoying these shoes and would recommend them. Thank you Asics for making narrows!
