Goodbye Gel-Nimbus -
This had been my favorite model running shoe ever since it came out and I put in some serious miles on these puppies. This last pair I ordered however was "remodeled" and now sports a small leather piece across the big toe. Big mistake! Narrows the room in the toe box, takes half a size off the shoe, discomfort, blisters, all of which I discovered on my maiden voyage. I've now switched to Adidas.

The new design of the lacing is just horrible. I could never get them tied right and the strip that goes over your toe just bugged me constantly. I ended up throwing them away after a couple weeks and ordered the Cumulus which is very comfortable, but just not as much cushion. I now see that they changed the lacing back to the old way on the Nimbus 11 and I am going to give them another shot. We'll see.
