Very Comfy and Great Look! The only negative is the arch is pretty high, so when I wore them to step class, my arches were killing me by the end and for a few days after. That said, I now have a cross-trainer pair I wear to step (ASICS GEL-130 TR) and I wear these for the more high impact floor classes like Combat and Attack and they are fabulous. They are extremely supportive and comfortable and I have an easier time keep my foot and ankle in proper alignment. They are also very stylish.

Still looking - Asics GT2120 was perfect for me but it is discontinued. I'm keeping the gel nimbus 10 but the toe box isn't as roomy as the GT2120 and seems to be 'breaking in' to be acceptable. Still don't know why the women's athletic shoe models are changed so often. My husband has been buying the same athletic shoe model for many years!

Great once I found the right size... I purchased these shoes in the size I have worn in the past in New Balance athletic shoes and found these to be half a size too small. Once I got the right size however they fit great! I have a wide forefoot and this shoe was plenty wide enough there for me. My only issue is the look. I bought the shoe in blue/silver and they really aren't attractive. The silver is very bright and shiny and just looks tacky. These are the first sneakers to fit my feet this well in awhile so I am keeping them and would recommend them (IF looks aren't a factor).

Arch support is very good. The shoes were a little tight at first, but stretched out in a couple of days.

Excellent shoe for those having too much toe box space (bought the 2A narrow Shoes). Good stability but not as cushioned as other shoes.

Cross trainer in La Quinta - I love the way this shoe looks, and it's dreamy when you put it on. But if you supinate like me, the support just doesn't seem to be there. This shoe was recommended for the under-pronator, but I didn't get what I was hoping for. However, it wasn't enough of a disappointment to send them back!

This is the 4th pair of Asics Nimbus I have owned. The sizing seems to have changed, I needed a half size to one size bigger than my previous pairs. I love the look and the comfort is improving as I run in them more and more.

Great Shoe for Underpronation. I've been using the Gel-Nimbus for a serious walking shoe for several years. Although the price is a little higher than I like, I found that when I wear these shoes, my feet, legs and knees feel so much better than they do with any others I've tried. The Gel-Nimbus 10 does have better cushioning than the Gel-Nimbus 9. I do have to go up a half size from what I normally wear with other shoes. I don't much care for the look of the shoe - too shiny on the trim.

I purchased these boots last season, because I needed something professional looking. I knew that I would be making a small sacrifice on the warmth and dampness, that typically accompanies a more dressier boot. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that these boots not only looked dressy, but performed exceptionally well, not once did I get wet or cold feet. We had a very long cold winter and these boots held up to the snow, ice and sleet. The sole is skid resistant. I am totally impressed, especially since I wore them every day and they still look like new. I also received many compliments on the look of the boot. I would definitely recommend these boots to all business women who need to fight the elements of nature this winter.

Treadmill Runner - I got this shoe because I noticed that I started to under pronate and this shoe was recommended, it definitely helps but is a little "gushy" - I think inserts will solve the problem.

Great comfort but not as supportive - I have owned other Asics shoes-Kayano and I thought it has more structure. My feet have tendency to fall outwards with Nimbus. I like this shoe but will prob go back to nimbus next time. Overall Asics is a great brand- will buy no other.

ASICS Gel-Nimbus®10 - Nice lightweight shoe. Good cushioning from the sole. Could use more cushioning for the ball of the foot and the toe area. Keeps my heel from pronating so far. Nice follow through. I had to order a full size larger.

The toe-overlay kills these shoes for me. I run an average of 30 miles per week. These shoes are great on sole-comfort, but the toe-overlay design ruins this shoe for me: the circle cut-out of mesh would be better if it covered the whole toe-box (like the Gel Nimbus 11, which I run in now). Because of the weird overlay, I got some pretty messed up toenails. I have 2 pair of these, one in a 5.5 and one in a 6. I wear a 5 in normal shoes. The 6 fits much better. I'm 100 lbs. and 5'.

Not a bad shoe but would not buy again - I bought this shoe hoping to love, love, love it like I do the Gel Kayano 14 but was slightly disappointed. I love the hot pink color and when I read the reviews it seemed like it was for me. I would have stuck with the gel kayano 14 but I didn't like the other colors so I decided to try something new. The toe box in the gel nimbus is not very roomy and there isn't a whole lot of cushion which I need for bad knees. I feel like my feet get numb after a half hour on the treadmill. Not a bad shoe but wouldn't get it again, I'll stick to the gel kayano 14 next time.

They run small! I took the other reviewers advice and ordered a half size larger than I usually wear and they were still too tight. Order a size larger than you would usually wear and you might be ok. They were very uncomfortable on the sides of my heel and my big toe rubbed at the top. They also have a lot more silver than shows in the picture… a lot more! These shoes are just not for me.

I do not like these shoes as well as the Gel Nimbus 9. I don't know why they changed them. I have worn the Nimbus 9 for quite a while now and they are the only shoes I could wear while recovering from Achilles tendinitis. The Nimbus 10 is too stiff and the cushioning doesn’t feel as good as the Nimbus 9. I am very disappointed with this shoe.

Narrow but Beautiful - I ordered this shoe ONE WEEK AGO... I ordered a 10.5medium, I usually wear a 10, fit was good but shoe was entirely too narrow. Amazing how quickly shoes are delivered but very unhappy now because they now don't have my shoe in a 10.5 wide.

Buy a size up! Surprisingly I need a bigger size. I can get as small as 4.5 in most shoes. This is a 6 and is way too small - I wear a 6 in Nike Shox that fits great though. Very confused. Also, this shoe would look better with a more metallic part. Otherwise, feels sturdy and I'll probably just exchange for a size up. Wish Zappos had a place I can walk into, though I do love this place.

Go with your first impression... The shoe is very well made and attractive if you like a lil bit of flashy. The wide size is wider in the toebox, but not the heel area. This is why my comfort rating is low for this shoe.

Not as great as I expected - I bought these shoes after reading a rave review of them in Runners World magazine that touted the extra cushioning. I've worn them on several runs now and they feel no different than my nearly retired old pair of Asics. Plus, after a 12.5-mile run, I ended up with two bruised toes. The new lace structure is annoying and uncomfortable, what I think bruised my toe. Plus, the shoe has so much silver that it's distracting and looks too fancy. (I wear a 7.5 or 8 shoe size, but wear an 8.5 with Asics.)

Bells and whistles - These are nice sneakers but not top dollar in my book. I don't always buy Asics and was reluctant to try this running shoe for the gym but there are so few aerobic shoes with bounce that I went for these. Maybe it's the ill fit - they don't support your arch much but they're truly just a light and fluffy sneaker so if you're that type of person, you'll love 'em. I guess I need more solid shoes like those of Saucony. I added a sports shoe insert to make these perform more. I am a lighter person but I like to dance and save my feet.

Asics Gel-Nimbus 10 - Beautiful, colorful, stylish shoe!! I tried an 8 regular, and then an 8 wide. I wanted them to feel good -- I really did -- but they just didn't. I felt too much pressure in front of my heel -- and the toe box, no matter how roomy, put my toes to sleep. The sole in that area seems to be too inflexible -- at least for my feet. The 10's did however seem very light and springy -- and made my feet look great. They're just not ready for the rigors of my trip to Disney World. I'll let my new Zappos - Easy Spirit Immerse's, Romy's and Nike Dart V1's conquer that turf (asphalt)!

I have been running in Asics Gel-Nimbus for years. I replaced my Gel-Nimbus 9 for the 10 when I needed new running shoes. It\'s an entirely different shoe with a different fit. The toe box is small and my toes end up falling asleep after running for a while. I am glad to read that others have had this same issue. \r\n\r\nI am very disappointed in this model. I\'ve only worn them a few times and really wish that I could return them for a different shoe. It\'s too bad to have to pay so much money for a shoe expecting it to be just as great as it has always been - and be left in pain after a run.

I wore the Gel Nimbus 9 for years and loved it. The redesigned 10 was disappointing because I have wide feet and this shoe runs a whole size smaller (9 was half size) mostly in the toe area. My toes were very crunched and I now have to take the loss and buy a new pair. These were unwearable, as well as horribly ugly.
