I really like these shoes and style but the rubber separated from the sole and water gets right in if it's raining. I'll be leaving these under my desk going forward.

This is the first time I purchased dress shoes via the internet and was worried more about the fit more than anything. Everything about the product was excellent except after a few days I noticed the the top of the left shoe is completly wrinkled. Makes me think the internet is how J&M gets rid of its seconds.

I purchased this shoe to replace a pair of slip-ons that were many years old. I live in Florida and generally wear the shoes without socks, the former pair were all leather and of excellent quality. This pair is definitely not all leather and the worst thing is that the insoles immediately loosened and pull out when I take the shoes off. In my mind I don't feel that it is of the quality that I have enjoyed over the years from a Johnson Murphy product. The shoe looks like plastic not leather.

Diasapointed. First pair of Johnston & Murphy shoes I have bought in a decade. I wanted a 1st class shoe, and was tired of buying 2nd class. I guess I paid for 1st class, but still got 2nd. A "pebble" was under the leather insole of the sole, right at the ball of the foot. Did not notice right away, but as the leather depressed arround it, during use, it became painfull. This manufacturing defect was very disapointing.

The sole pieces separated and came apart. I re-soled the shoes with a proper leather sole.

Disappointed! I wear a size 10 M and the shoe felt way too loose on my feet. I tried a smaller size and they were too tight. The store let me return the shoes for a credit.

It's a great looking shoe, well made. It has no arch support. After two days of wearing the shoe I had to buy high-end arch supports (they cost more than the shoes!) to allleviate foot pain. Now I have to use those supports in other shoes that used to feel fine and gave me no problems. I wish I had known.

These shoes don't seem to be made of the same quality that I have come to love from J&M dress shoes

Shoe does not live up to the typical standard of J&M. Feels and looks a little "cheap". Sole feels more like plastic then real leather.

The Aragon II Kiltie is a great shoe as to looks however the manufacturing in the width lacks consistency. I purchased the two tone version and it ran true to a narrow width. However, the black version in narrow was too wide and was more of a medium width. I had to return this shoe in the color black. There needs to be a follow up with your manufacturing plant as the process and how it is made. Someone dropped the ball on this one.

This is a very comfortable shoe, but the sole is substandard. There are 3 small rubber pads on the front part of the sole that comes loose, and you can end up tripping. I bought 3 pairs, and it happened to all three.

Began squeaking after a half-day of use. Hard inner sole -- needs cushoning. Caused blisters on ball of both feet.

The shoe can be worn with many different things and for many different situations. The problem is that this shoe and my loafer type brown casual shoe (20-2394 # in shoe) both have the cushion wear out quickly and the sole of my shoe wears out as well. This causes pain in my feet and I need to buy inserts to make the shoes work. My sneakers provide the proper arch support and do not wear out so I don't have any pain.

It was too casual for my taste. It is difficult looking at shoes from a catalog.

This is an exceptional Loafer, it makes my foot looks a lot smaller, it's an elegant shoe with beautiful lines. I could wear it with jeans, Chino's, and a little more dress your outfit. It fits me like a glove on my foot. Just An elegant loafer. I've already received several compliments.

A beautiful shoe. Unfortunate that it was too small in the instep. Husband could not get his foot in the shoe at all and we are sure the size ordered is right. Shoe appeared to have no give in the instep. Very tight. Might have been mismarked.

JM has been my go to for quality mens foot wear, but not anymore. These are poorest quality shoes I had ever purchased. Felt like plastic dull finish and uncomfortable. A waste of my time and money!

I have had the same shoe on 2 prior occasions and loved them. This time, neither shoe fit. One was too snug, and the other two large.
