I ordered these shoes and immediately loved them. They were both comfortable and cute and felt like they would stand up to some serious walking. Unfortunately that last part turned out not to be true, as I have had them for two months now and already the heel has completely fallen apart on one of the shoes. I perhaps expect more walking out of my shoe than the average user, but if you're looking for a really quality sandal that will hold up well, perhaps look elsewhere. Another minor consideration is that because of the material that is used to line the sole, the shoes begin to look dirty quite quickly. It's not so much a factor when the shoe is on your foot, but when I take them off I am always amazed by how grungy they look.

They just didn't fit my foot right. My little pinky toe didn't quite make it under the front strap, so it was uncomfortable and awkward. As one reviewer noted, because of the cushioned bottom, my left sandal made a loud air-puff sound every time I stepped down. Oddly, this didn't happen as much with the right sandal. I can see how this could be a good fit for someone else (aside from the air noise). The Cinnamon color was actually more attractive than I thought. It's a nice rusty red-brown color. Just wasn't the right sandal for me.

These ran shorter and more narrow that I expected. The metal buckle was of poor quality. I will be returning them.

Size 8WW in this style felt very narrow, whereas another Bass style same size was perfect?

Ordered my normal size in an extra wide width. The footbed was too long and my little toe stuck out of the strap. I do not think the leather is very good quality and am returning these sandals. Overall, I am very disappointed in the sandal.

This sandal was much smaller than the noted size. I am unable to wear it. I did like the style.

I bought these sandals in red and in white. I liked them, they are comfortable, but the inside strap on the white ones broke, in my opinion much too soon for the amount of use. I don't think I will buy them again.

I bought this shoe 10-15 years ago and needed to replace them. They are not the same quality as before; the straps are not placed correctly and not the same length. Too bad, had to return.

Okay. Should have listened to the reviews, but I was desperate for some comfortable white sandals with a lot of cushion. Was really hoping these fit. They don't. Purchased 6W, felt more like a 6.5M. Returning these sandals.

Buckle was very uncomfortable and kept digging in to my foot. I had to get rid of them.

Once upon a time Bass shoes were among the most comfortable and well made. Things have certainly changed now at Bass. The leather was dry and the straps snapped within 2 weeks of wear. That's what you get now that manufacturing has been outsourced.

This shoe wasn't as light as I thought it would be and wasn't comfortable from the get go. I was looking for it to be a comfortable and easy to pack walking shoe for while I was on holiday and this wasn't for me.

These sandals look good, but are not that comfortable initially. The straps are stiff, and they hit across my toes in an uncomfortable position. The buckle is also in an uncomfortable position. They do seem to be softening with wear though. The soles are very comfortable, but these would not be shoes I could recommend for a lot of walking. I got rid of the packaging too soon - would have returned them.

Wore these shoes for less than four months (regularly 2-3 times/week) and a hole in the sole of the shoe has already appeared. They weren't super comfy, but definitely wearable. Now, not so much. Le sigh. On to another wide shoe investment.

Too narrow or too wide...no happy medium - I first purchased this sandal in my normal, W width, and was unable to squeeze my foot into it without discomfort. I exchanged it for a WW, which felt ok for the first hour or so, then stretched to the point at which my foot was sliding out of it. The front of the shoe was too wide, and tightening the ankle strap just pushed my toes over the front of the shoe, making it extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, since I'd worn the shoe outdoors, I was stuck with it. There seems to be some non-standard sizing in this style of sandal, and I would not recommend it.

Stay with the old - I still love my pair of Bass sandals that are more than 20 years old, because the side strap just covers my little toe, unlike all other sandals. I had hoped the new Bass version, which split the toe strap in two, would be ok but it isn't. My poor little toe either has to be scrunched up painfully into the strap or left stranded outside of it equally uncomfortably. I'll have to give the shoes away.

This shoe looks fine, but it is difficult to walk in because of the fit on the heel. It acts like a flip-flop and I would not buy it again.

I ordered these shoes in black. The base and the straps looked fine when I received them. The shoe bas was pretty comfortable and padded, and the straps were soft leather. Unfortunately, the shoe didn't fit. I had ordered the WW, and the straps were too large (unusual in a shoe!). Therefore my foot went forward, until my toes were off the shoe base. I also found the shoe base to be slightly longer than my foot, but it would have worked if the straps had held my foot in the right place. The base was also too narrow, so therefore I will not try this shoe in a smaller width. In a shoe with some heel the base would not need to be as wide as the entire foot, but in this style of shoe it would need to be. I would recommend this shoe if your foot's wide width tends to go up rather than side to side, and I would recommend ordering one width smaller than you normally wear. I would try a different shoe from this brand based on the quality, but not the fit.

Bass sandal - The narrow size that I orderer is too wide. Since it is very hard to find narrow anything I kept them, but the narrow size is not a real narrow.

The WW on this is NOT wide. I ordered a size 8WW and it measured 10.2" long x 3.65 wide. Typically, a size 8WW should be 9.5" x 4.3"

This is one product I will be returning. The buckle rubs my ankle and is uncomfortable. My other shoe purchases were great however.

I really hoped this white sandal would work. I wear narrow shoes and have a terrible time finding those that fit. These are too wide to begin with. The buckle rubs and the leather has an edge. It would wear down in time but meanwhile, I could anticipate blisters. The cushion feels great but I just slid right out the front. I already have the other Bass white thong sandal that will go to Goodwill: the thong is so thick that it hurts.

I've had multiple pairs of these shoes in the past, but it has been a while. I decided to order them again for an upcoming vacation. Wow! The footbed seemed to be the correct size, but the straps were all super loose. I thought it was a manufacturing glitch but both pairs (the white and the cinnaman) fit like this. My sister-in-law, also on the vacation, had the same sandals and they appeared to fit normally. Perhaps the factory had a glitch happen with a number of pairs. My past pairs were 9 N and these were 10 N. I know that can make them a bit wider but, as I wrote earlier, the footbed fit. 10 N is my current size and sometimes 10.5 N.

Had to send these back. When I got these I really loved everything about them, but when I put them on, I had to use the last hole to make the strap tighter, and even then it was so loose I couldn't wear them, I'm 5'4, about 120 lbs. The leather is nice and soft but I think the way I wear my sandals, they would not last probably more than a summer. My daughter has a pair of these exact same sandals she got at a thrift shop and the leather is way more durable and the straps fit! I wish Bass went back to the old way of how they made them.

I bought these in my actual size, they were so wide my foot went over the toes. Tried getting narrower size still had the same problem on one shoe.
