I ordered these cute sandals for my mother. The footbed matched her narrow feet perfectly but the straps were much too long. So the sandals were too loose for comfort and must be returned.

These sandals were my second attempt at an everyday sandal that was comfortable to walk in. I decided to go with this old standard since Bass is a good name. The sandal lasted only 3 months until the inner sole has pulled up from the outer sole. I'll buy another pair of sandals today, but they won't be these.

The straps just don't fit to the foot. They gap and the extra strap at the buckle just sticks way out. I am bummed because they are cute.

My feet are narrow, that is a given, but to purchase a narrow width sandal a half size smaller and have them be too wide? That is disappointing.

I find these to be pretty unwearable. The straps don't do enough to stabilize my foot, so I find my foot is always slipping back and to the inside of the shoe, which makes walking...awkward. Non-awkward walking is right up there at the top of things matter to me about a shoe.

I have a difficult to fit foot; long, narrow, with a low profile. Though my foot measures as a woman's 11 narrow, the volume of the shoe is often too high for my foot. That was definitely the case with the Margie sandal. The nonadjustable straps across my toes were so loose that they would not hold my foot securely. Even with the ankle strap cinched as tight as it would go, my foot slid forward right through the toe straps and off the front end of the shoe. This in spite of the fact that the foot bed was the correct width for my foot. This is a very cute sandal, but not the right fit for me.

The shoe was comfortable and looked great, but made a noise while walking that sounded like compressed air being released. I returned the first pair for another hoping it was a dud but had the same problem.

I'm sorry to have to return these sandals because they would have been comfortable except for two major flaws: 1)the size 8-1/2 was more like a 7-1/2, and 2) the strap with fastener was much too long and not enough holes.

I really like these shoes, which pains me to say that I will probably never order them again. They are super comfortable and stylish. The problem is I've had them for less than a month and they are already showing really significant wear on the soles. I had very similar problems with the last pair I ordered last summer. I just wish these were higher quality and more durable. I think I will have to throw these out in 2 months.

This sandal runs very wide, and also therefore rubs. I am disappointed with this purchase. I made the mistake of wearing these outside immediately out of the box based on Bass' reputation cred from 15 years ago. Now I can't return them or wear them. Bummed.

I got them in a 9.5N and they were a little small and quite tight, so I went up to a 10M and they were way too loose. So I then tried a 10N thinking that'd be perfect, and nope. Still too loose. The lengths of the straps seemed to be quite inconsistent, making the width of the shoe irrelevant.

Width is fine, length is fine - but the height is not. When I wear these shoes, the straps stick up a good half inch over the top of my foot. Only the back strap can be tightened, and I'd have to drill an additional hole to get that tight enough. But that wouldn't keep my feet from flopping around in these. I purchased 10AA and I don't think a change in size would help.

Ordered a 7 narrow size (1/2 size smaller due to review comments) and the front straps were not fitted enough to support my foot on the sole. Needed to return since no Slim width available in this sandal.

These shoes were nicely styled and I wanted them to work but my feet kept sliding forward so my toes were practically overlapping the front edge of the shoes. The footbed looked like the right size so I didn't want to go up a half size. Tightening the buckle only made it worse and loosening it didn't help either. Seem to be too wide in the front strap area.

At the beginning of the summer I was on the quest to find a real quality sandal, not a flimsy piece of cardboard one would find at Target or Payless. I thought the Bass Margie was it! It looked sturdy and sophisticated. The Bass Margie's look is deceptive. It isn't supportive or comfortable. The sole of the shoe is heavy and awkward. There is no "bed" for your foot to settle into and two months later the sandal is still making an annoying squish sound when I walk. I would not recommend this sandal to anyone who desires comfort.

I have narrow feet so I was excited when I saw these were available in a narrow width. I ordered a 10N and was surprised at how wide they are. My foot slid right through the front and kept on going til my toes were hanging over the front by at least an inch. I m not sure what Bass definition of narrow is but I found these to be anything but. I found the leather straps to be a lot rougher and stiffer than I was hoping. The foot bed was very cushy and comfortable. Returned them to Zappos who, as always, provided excellent customer service.

Very disappointed with this shoe. I bought the same shoe from another Co. in another color It was good but, this shoe from Zappos I just walked right out of them. Way miss sized. Will never shop here again.

I really wanted these to fit, especially since I ordered them in WW for my very high-instepped, WW feet, but alas, no: total disappointment. They're going back, even though they look like they're very good quality.

These shoes were really wide. I ordered a AA & my foot was all over & pushing out off the toe of the sandal. They were nice & cushy though. Too bad , I will keep looking.

I was very pleased with these after I put them on -- that sole is so cushy! -- but there's no way I'm keeping them. The sole is completely inflexible, so it slaps against the bottom of my foot as I walk, like a flip-flop. But the problem is, it's tied to my heel with the ankle strap, so the strap and my ankle rub against each other most uncomfortably with each step. The heel of the shoe wants to go down, since the sole doesn't bend, but it's strapped to my ankle, so the strap drags and digs in painfully...and I bet it'd give out before long, since it puts up with so much stress with every step. Bummer, too, because these are so cute, and they're so comfy when I'm standing still!

I liked these shoes a lot, right up until the point where they completely fell apart. I wore them a few times a week, but within a few months the soles had completely given out, and the straps had begun to deteriorate as well. Cute and comfortable shoe, but don't expect them to last.

Even though the sandal is sized as a narrow the straps were still super long, and won't keep my foot on the footbed. The straps are nice and soft, but LONG.

These shoes are extremely narrow. I ordered them in an 8.5M, and I'm having to send them back. I've never had issues with width in a shoe before.

These are cute sandals but they do not provide enough support to wear to work if you stand on your feet most of the day. I would have given these five stars but the leather strap broke that runs on the outside ripped after about two months. I also bought another style of Bass sandals at the same time and the leather has stretched out rendering them unusable. It seems like the quality just is not as good as it was years ago.
