I definitely will be returning these. The leather looks cheap, worn and scratched. The boots I received appeared that they had been purchased by several customers and returned a few times as they look as if they had been tried on many times. I'm very disappointed in Zappos as I felt that they should have inspected these boots before sending them on to another paying customer like myself. In my opinion these boots need to be trashed and not sent on to another customer.

I ended up giving these to a friend because they were too narrow. I could not assess the arch support because I could not get them on.

I didnt notice that they wouldnt have a zipper. I didnt like having to step into them then shoving my jeans down there. They were on the small side

These shoes are comfortable and I've gotten a ton of compliments while wearing them. However, after having worn them for no more than three months, an average of 3 times a week, I had to replace the soles they were so worn. Bucks later I'm glad I got them on sale because I've now invested retail price into these things.

I've only worn these twice so far, once very lightly and once for about about 6 hours (though I was standing more than walking). Right now, the bottom is separated about an inch down the toe of one shoe and is starting to come apart at the other. The sole is starting to wear down as well. For this price? Seriously, go get multiple pairs of cheaper boots for this quality. It looks nice, definitely, and is stylish (I got the wine) with skinnies or leggings. The wine scuffs extremely easily, especially around the toe. It's also incredibly narrow on my average width feet, but it's starting to stretch slightly now. Overall, these are cute...but so are a lot of the $20 boots at Forever 21. I completely regret wasting money on these. For the price, I was expecting far more durability.

I have a large calf (16") and these fit, but for the price, the leather looked and felt very cheap. I was hoping for more and will be returning them. Additionally, they seemed to run a bit smaller than most other similar styles- had I chose to keep them, I would have had to exchange for 1/2 size larger.

A beautiful boot but that is where the compliments end. The stitching was poorly done. The leather quality was not up to standards when compared to other boots in this price range. There did not seem to be any cushioning on the foot bed. The shoe is not true to size. I did have someone try on the shoe who wore a half size smaller. They said it fit, but felt like cardboard. I wanted to love this shoe, but it is definitely not worth the money.

I LOVED these boots when I first bought them. The quality is bad though. The heels have separated and the leather looked worn out after a few wears. The top of the boot is unfinished which always kind of bugged me. If you want something that is going to last more then a few months keep looking! Otherwise the style is super cute and they are super comfy.

Great color, but ill fitting in the toe and ankle area so I'll be returning them. The color is more purple than red, but I actually liked it better than in the photo.

I absolutely love the look of these boots but they are a complete waste of money! I wore them less than 10 times before the sole separated from the boot. Do not buy these! Pay a little more and buy a nicer pair of boots!

I have wanted these boots for a year and finally bought them. I was very disappointed. They are too small in the calves. The band expands more but only has a few holes in it so it more decorative not functional. The leather had odd spots on it and looks cheap. They also arrived with small scuffs on the sole. I expect much better quality for the price. I will have to return them.

I've worn this style of boot for years, much like other reviewers. I agree, the quality has gone down a bit. The top of the boot where your fit goes in is very tight now. Low quality all together.

These are very stylish boots, and I owned a pair years ago that didn't last nearly as long as I expected for a shoe of that price. Target used to sell a similar pair (fake leather) that I felt actually held up better, but they stopped selling it this year so I thought I'd give these another try. I love the color, the height of the shaft, and the low heel. Unfortunately, after my second time wearing these, the sole of the heel completely fell off. I only had worn them to work (in an office!) in mild weather--certainly not significant wear and tear. For the price, this is ridiculous.

I have had the boots for less than 3 weeks, and worn them maybe 3 times. The heel already tore off - and I wasnt running a marathon in them. Total normal wear and tear - wore to my desk job, out to dinner on a Friday. Nothing strenuous.

If you want to only wear a pair of shoes twice before the heel falls off, but these boots. After only wearing these boots twice the rubber on the heel came off and the leather around the heel ripped, very disappointing.

This shoe is horrible. I received it and it looked and appeared to be worn. The leather looks very cheap, not worth the cost, it had cracks in it, scratches etc. The bottom of the shoe looked worn also, not sure if I received a pair that was previously returned, but the shoe looked months old I was not happy with this shoe at all and I love Steve Madden shoes. This shoe totally received a thumbs down!

I tried 2 different pairs of these and both times the sole on the front separated from the boot after about an hour of wearing them just around the office. I never wore them outside. I returned the first pair in hopes that it was just a defective pair, but it was not. The 2nd pair did the same exact thing. Also, the toe box was a little narrow and rubbed my toes. I was so sad to have to send them back, I got them in the wine color, which looks like it is not available any longer. It is possible it was just that color that does this. I have tons of friends who have these in the brown and love them. Although they have had them forever too so it makes me wonder if Steve Madden is making these boots differently now. Who knows! All I do know is I sent 2 pairs back for the same reason.
