LOVE these boots! I am a swimmer, so I have very large calf muscles, and these are the only boots I've ever found that not only fit over my calves, but have a little bit of cute extra space at the top. The only thing I'd change about these boots is that the soles are rather slippery when you wear them in rain or snow. There is no traction at all. And, in the interest of full disclosure, I just purchased my second pair 2 years after the first (or maybe it's been 3 years?). After a few years and quite a bit of heavy wear through all sorts of weather, the sole had come off a bit and they're scuffed up in some spots, but they're still wearable. Nothing unexpected as no shoe lasts forever (unfortunately). But, considering that these aren't that expensive for leather boots, and Steve Madden keeps making them year after year, I felt good replacing them. The new pair is just as comfortable and flattering as the last!

These boots are great! They are stylish, comfy and I get compliments every time I wear them! The wedge is the perfect height for looks and comfort. I have them in Cognac, and am considering ordering them in black! I felt they fit true to size.

This is my second pair of these boots. The first ones lasted me 4 YEARS! I love them and will just continue to buy these as I wear them out! Can't say enough good things about them. Cute with jeans, dresses, anything!

Perfect boot. Felt a little tight when I bought but the half size up my heel would slip out. Stretches out within one wear. Love this classic style for jeans or leggings tucked in. Looking forward to wearing with dresses too.

I bought these boots in cognac and I like them a lot. With Steve Madden shoes my size varies depending on how the shoe is made. For this particular boot I got a 5.5 and it fits perfect. I can even wear socks with it. This has been my go to boot since receiving them. Thanks Zappos!

These are great boots, stylish and quality for the price! However, my very thin calves are too small for the boot...ordering a smaller size won't fit my size 6 1/2 foot. Sadly they will go back.

Great shoes, I have a few similar Madden boots and always order them on the smaller side b/c they stretch. I usually wear 7.5-8 so I order the 7.5.

I normally wear a size 9 in Steve Madden/Steven, but I had to order a half-size up for these boots. That being said, these boots are so comfortable. I absolutely love them. I've had a hard time finding boots to fit around my calves, and these finally do. I am so happy with them & get tons of compliments when wearing them around town. They are a bit slippery on the snow, though I didn't get them for winter wear. Perfect for spring/fall wearing!

Love these boots, they fit comfortably. Leather has "worn in" look. They did not have a side zipper which I did not realize, but I looked at a lot of boots! I have a 16 1/2 in calf and they fit perfectly. I will order in another color too!

This boot fit relatively true to size. I typically wear a 6.5 or 7 and ordered a 6.5. The boot fit fine, but might be a bit small if I wore thick socks. The boots were beautiful pebbled cognac leather, unfortunately I couldn't pull them up my calves. Awesome option for people with slimmer calves, just not for me.

I love these boots! I finally wore out my first pair after a year and a half of heavy wear, and have purchased another. I went with the cognac color, it goes with everything and looks great over jeans and leggings alike. I have a wider calf (16.5 inches) and found these boots to be a perfect fit. There's very little support to be had in the foot, but I put in a pair of drugstore arch supports and can walk in them all day. Well worth the money in my opinion!

I've been wearing these for the most of the last two years. Comfortable, stylish, versatile (wear them with leggings, jeans, dresses etc) and they get better with age. I have slightly athletic calves, but these boots fit a tiny bit loose. The only two cons I have: I had to replace the sole of the boots after 1.5 years (quick fix with cobbler) and that they fit loose at the ankle (I think they would be more flattering with a snugger ankle). Overall, it's the best money I've ever spent.

These boots are great! I've gotten many compliments on them! They are pretty comfortable and they are so cute! The only thing is that one of the boots was a more light brownish color than the other boot which had a more darker, snake-like brown. Overall though, these boots were great!

The boots are awesome! You can wear with skirt or jeans. They can be dressed up or down. The material is good quality and from pass experience they will last for years to come with proper care. I bought the cognac and am thinking of getting the black as well.

Very comfortable! I wore them for the first time all day and experienced no discomfort. Also stylish! I can wear them with jeans, dresses, and skirts.

This boots are so cute! The first time I wore them I got bad blisters, but they were broken in after wearing them a few times and now they feel fine! I love the color, it's very unique!

I absolutely love these boots, they are very stylish and I get a ton of compliments about them. They fit just right, not much arch support but for flats they are still pretty comfortable. Not sure I would recommend for hours on your feet but for stylish I highly recommend. I have them in the Cognac color and I absolutely love them.

I absolutely adore these boots! I love that the calf is adjustable with the little buckle on the side (I have big calves, and these are the only boots I've found that really fit, even over skinny jeans!). They look fantastic, and the leather just softens up so nicely after a while. Every time I wear them I get complements...

Love these boots! They are just what I was looking for. I usually wear between a 7 and 7 1/2. After reading some other reviews I decided to go with a 7. They are a little tight through the toe area. They started to loosen up during the day and after a few more wears I think they will be perfect!

Beautiful wine color. The leather seems to be high quality so far. My calves are more on the thin sides but the circumference size felt just right. My only complaint is that the size 7 that I ordered feels more like a 7.5 to me, so I will be returning this pair to order a 6.5.

I've had these boots for almost a year now and I still love them. I've received many compliments on them and wear them any chance I can get. The leather is soft and these boots have held up really well for me. They still look like they just came out of the box. They are pointed toe which means they look more feminine on than other clunky boots. That was a big plus for me.

I absolutely love these boots! I actually ordered them last winter and I foresee getting to use them for further seasons. They are classic and not too bulky in the toe/sole. The toe is kind of narrow so if you are going to be walking long distances, it can get a little uncomfortable. For normal wear, they are cute and comfortable.
