These shoes are comfortable and cute! They work best with jeans and the calf width is large enough to fit wide leg jeans. I gave them a 4 for style because I've tried them on with a couple of dresses/skirts and the top is a little too wide for my style with a skirt.

I have seen a number of my friends wear these and thought they were really cute. Ordered them, the leather looks really cheap, and they are really wide and come up to the bottom of my knee (I'm 5'1) so had to return them. They seem a bit overpriced for what they are.

First off, let me just say that I really, really, really wanted these to work out but, unfortunately, I had to return them because they were too wide in my ankle and calf areas. I don't think sizing down would work, so I'm stuck looking for a new pair of boots to fall in love with. :(

Okay so here we go. I loved the idea of these boots. I have a wide calf and was very excited that a cute boot was available that would accommodate me! and they did have a wider calf with he buckle to adjust but you will have to punch your own holes in the strap for these to work properly. The boots I received had a worn down leather look but the soles were unworn, so this had me thinking maybe they have been tried on a a lot and also returned that many times? Right around the ankle seem they bunch a lot and the front of the foot around that seem is stiff so the bunching and stiffness makes for a not so cute look. They are also pretty narrow in the toe area. I was really looking forward to these ad was a little disappointed but if you are a girl with wide calves this isn't too surprising. :(

I read all the reviews on this boot before my purchase. I ordered a size bigger than I normally wear. I still cannot get my foot all the way down in. It's great for wide calves but is super narrow on my foot. I'm sad to say the search for my fave boots continue. These are going back. I'm just thankful Zappos has free shipping!

These are nice looking, well made boots. They are very narrow, although I bought the medium width, which I have always worn.

I've been looking for a pair of knee-high cognac boots with a low heel and I thought these were going to be it. They have rave reviews all over the internet, so I was excited when they arrived. Unfortunately, these are still not the boot. I'm usually a 6.5 and these are too small in the toe area for me and the entire foot portion feels really stiff and uncomfortable. Even in a half size up, I can't imagine them being less stiff. Additionally, the shaft is pretty wide for my calves. I tried tightening the buckle to the last notch and they just look kind of silly. The leather appears to be nice quality and is a great neutral color and I love the height of the wedge heel. I'm, sadly, returning them and continuing the search.

These are cute boots, but they have huge calfs. I was hoping for something a bit more fitted. I have to return them.

Quality control needs to do a better job with noticing that the unique texture to this style need to at least match for the left and the right boot. When the boots were opened as a gift, the architectural style of the boot was great, but once they went on the foot, the structure did not match the form of the top of the foot and ankle. So, Steven Intyce needs to have another look his drawing board. Found a much better boot at AE, same style (but different color), better fit, and much cheaper.

I absolutely love these boots. I have the tan pair. I was unsure about spending that much money on a pair of boots but I have totally gotten my money's worth! I worked at a hair salon and they have the perfect amount of edge to keep me looking cool but also perfessional. Over all these are the best boots I have ever had. I'm buying the black pair this winter!

Love these boots. I usually wear an 8 but ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfect, a little stiff on top of the foot but I'm hoping they stretch or soften up. The wine color is really nice.

True to size, super comfy! The leather is a very good quality from Brazil, which for me, is a plus! Love Brazilian leather. Go for it, I did, and I love them.

Love this boot. Wore them all day the first day I had them, and they were great. Love the distressed color, received a lot of compliments. Fit is true to size, and there's plenty of room in the calf area.

These are the perfect casual boot. The slight heel adds just a little height to lift your backside, and the shaft is wide enough to easily tuck in skinny jeans. They look awesome with skirts, too. My only complaint would be due to my own wide toes... when I wear socks with a seam across the top of the toe, I get a blister on my pinky toe. Not the fault of the boot that my foot is wide. I have worn these countless times this fall (and fall has just begun).

Great boot! Beautiful in person, the cognac color is really pretty and goes with everything. Not sure about going a 1/2 size up though. I did this and had to exchange for my regular size. The toe area is a little narrow, but the boot fits true to size and was way too long in a 1/2 size up.

I love these boots. They are a tad tight in the toe so you may want to go half a size up. The leather is rather thin, but I had seen these boots in person before I bought them here.

I love these boots and I love Zappos! They provide the best customer service ever. I bought these in black last winter and wore them all the time. They are super comfortable. They are large enough for my muscular calves, and are super stylish! Both times I ordered half a size bigger. I just ordered the brown leather. The first pair had a minor defect in the leather. I called Zappos and they sent out a new pair and it got here the next day! Now I just have to return the first! Returns are so easy with Zappos.

I thought the color was great (stone leather). And the wedge heel adds a bit of style while still being very walkable. However, although I usually appreciate wide shafts due to my large calves, these were much too big, especially in the ankle. I would have preferred a closer cut in the ankle. The seam being right across that area made it look even weirder. They will be going back.

Nice boot but if you are athletic with strong calf muscles. This boot may be a little tight in the calf. Otherwise nice.

In the season's hottest color, these gray boots are comfortable and stylish. They look great with jeans and leggings tucked in as well as with short skirts.

Cute boots, but they were really big around the ankle and calves. The leather already had a "broken in" look, so if you want nice smooth leather, this is not the boot. Will be returning them for something more flattering on me.
