I fell in love with these boots cause of the color. When I first got them I wore them once and then a few times in December . These boots are horrible. In December the heel came off the boot like I was walking in the street and it came off the third time I wore them . I didn't realize until I got to work and there was no sole smh. Then recently I noticed the sole is now breaking off a And the leather is listing at the bottom. I paid 112 for these boots this is not acceptable. As usual zappos once there items returned with no wear or tear. I'm really disappointed because I spent over 200 dollars on two boots and I'm basically going to have to replenish these boots for next season... total waste of money. I will not be ordering from zappos again .

Love the look of the boots, but they are causing blisters at the back of my foot. I'm hoping they stretch out with wear because I really love them!

Not as comfortable as I thought

I had these boots for 7 or 8 years, and just got a replacement pair because I liked them so much. Classic look, a bit of a heel, good leather - what more do you need? Only thing is the width is a little narrow, and I generally have more narrow feet. So it might be a bit snug. If you're between sizes, definitely go up.

Love these boots! I can wear them all day with no problem, they match so much stuff and are just so cute! I love that i ordered them on a Sunday morning and received them Mon evening!!!!

I have had the boots for less than 3 weeks, and worn them maybe 3 times. The heel already tore off - and I wasnt running a marathon in them. Total normal wear and tear - wore to my desk job, out to dinner on a Friday. Nothing strenuous.

Excellent fashion boot. I have brown and black and with care they can and will last. I've replaced the heel taps on my black pair and they still look great. I love how the brown distresses with wear. They really pull outfits together and are so versatile.

Love the style of these boots & they're very comfortable. Unfortunately, after wearing them only a handful of times they looked like I'd been wearing them for years. The leather scuffed/nicked so easily and the part where the leather meets the rubber of the heel was already wearing away so badly that I was afraid the rubber would be gone soon, too. I'm not hard on shoes at all and I've had other Steve Madden's that have lasted years, but these just didn't hold up well. As always, Zappos Customer Service was awesome and sent me a new pair even after I'd worn these! I hope it was just a fluke and the second pair holds up better because I really do love the boots!

Great boot. I have issues finding boots to fit my calves which aren't that big but most boots are a bit tight in that area. These boots I have no issues putting on. I'm a 6.5 and these were true to size. I agree with other reviewers, this is a narrow shoe so size up if you have a wider foot. Overall, pleased with my purchase and I'm now the owner of both the black and brown pairs.

Beautiful boot! The first day I wore them the heel was a little off and I called customer service they helped me right away. I love zappos- their products and employees

If you want to only wear a pair of shoes twice before the heel falls off, but these boots. After only wearing these boots twice the rubber on the heel came off and the leather around the heel ripped, very disappointing.

Super cute boot! Only issue is? The boot is a bit narrow at the toe area. I would order a half size up next time I purchase these.

I love this boot so much it's my second pair in the last 3 years. My only disappointment is seeing the price now. I paid full price 2-3 weeks ago and now it's marked way down. Is it possible to get a refund of the difference?

The boot shaft on these is very wide. There is a belt type adjustment on it that is not usable. They are otherwise nice and comfy boots, but the circumference of shaft makes them too big.

I had a pair of similar Steve Madden boots for years that I have finally worn out so I was very excited to find these. The cognac color is great and matches almost anything. They do run small. I am a size 6 in almost every shoe I own but I ordered these in a 6.5 because of other reviews and glad I did! They were almost too small with my thicker socks but fine with regular ones. I will say that the calf runs very wide. I am about 5'2" and 115lbs so they were almost silly looking at first but I adjusted the buckle on the side and they look fine with jeans for the look I was going for!

Love love love these boots. I have been looking for a boot like this for a long time. Very happy. True to size and comfortable. Can wear every day. I like that the boot is not tight.

Cute boots. Nice quality leather for price. Slouchy look with adjustable buckles on side. Narrow through foot including heel. Sized up to accommodate that and it was alright.

For the price, these boots are slightly cheap looking. There are little flaws on the boots. I would've kept them because I am tired of searching for boots like these, but the left boot was tight around my toes and rubbed on my pinky toe. What's weird is I have owned wedge boots like these, but these ones make my feet wobble and I have to try to balance myself.

I have now purchased two pair of these fabulous boots-One in brown, and one black! The fit great, can easily be dressed up or down, and are super comfortable. Also great for a wide calf, as they have plenty of room!

I bought these boots to be the answer to my prayers, so it shouldn't be surprising that they fell short. The quality of the leather is great, it takes wear amazingly. But, the heel fell off after 5 wears and even after that was repaired, the sole is separating. For this price I expected to get more than 1 season out of them. They are a bit baggie in the ankle, so are more of a slouch than a stiff riding boot. Overall the style is spot on, but quality could be improved. They are super comfortable, I can wear them and walk in them day after day without issue. I am usually between a 7.5 and 8 and got a 8 and the fit is perfection.

Love these boots! Exactly what I was looking for in the middle of summer when preparing for a vacation to a colder place. They are adjustable on the sides so they do fit a slightly full calf.

These boots are amazing! They are the most comfortable wedge boots I've ever had and I am seriously thinking of getting another pair before they sell out so I have them when I wear out the ones I have! I bought a half size larger so I could wear heavy socks with them during winter but I've already worn thinner socks and they still fit really well. The leather is soft and doesn't look cheap (like I read in a few reviews). These boots go with almost any color too so they are versatile as well.
