The orange color was just what I was looking for and the arch support is unsurpassed. But, I underestimated the discomfort of the toe noose. Bummer.

So Cute! The look of the shoe is very cute and makes my feet look small unlike my other chacos. It was hard to get the straps to stay in place at first and caused blisters the first time I wore them but now that they stay they are comfortable enough to wear all day and night. Love these shoes!

Super comfortable - can't figure out the straps - I'm a proud owner of the Chaco flips and after 5 years they aren't showing any signs of wear or deterioration. Previously I owned Teva and Reef flips and would go through a 4 pair a year. So I decided to mix it up and try these Zongs, mostly because they look so dang cool and I thought I could wear them to work. Chacos seem to have exceptionally good arch support (these Zongs included). I'm the kind of foot with really high arches that cannot go barefoot without extreme pain. These Zongs feel like barefoot - between them and the Flips, I'll never wear anything else! I find the footbed of Chacos to be much firmer than other sandals, but the support is great and the rubber eventually molds to every contour of your foot. They will end up fitting like a glove. My only issue (and I almost returned them because of this) is the straps. I spent some time adjusting the strap (despite the look, it really is all one strap that winds underneath the footbed through the rubber sole) and thought I had it right. When I started walking, the strap tightened in some places due to more pressure and became loosened in others. I'm still experimenting, but am happy overall.

Adjusting is tricky - Once the straps are adjusted correctly, the shoe is great. Had trouble at first. Straps kept tightening.

Great shoe. Got the pink ones and are a bit more "girly". Great alternative to flip flops when needed!

This sandal stays put on your foot! This sandal fulfilled the criteria I wanted in a casual sandal. I don't like the hassle of a back strap. It’s a rugged sandal I could wear while wading in rivers during camping and it’s a stylish-looking sandal with an option of bright colors. To adjust the straps to accommodate the big toe and width was fairly easy (after adjusting for my narrow foot, the end of the strap hung down, so I had to knot the end to avoid hanging on the ground). Would have been more attractive if the sandal's straps had been wider.

Glad to Own - Purchased them about 1 month ago, have worn them several times. The sole of the shoe is firm & supportive. So, if you are looking for a more flexible sandal that forms to your foot, keep looking. It was a little difficult to get the straps right so that my big toe was comfortable. I was looking for something I could go walking in & have some arch support - these have it. They're great!

Great Shoe, Very Comfortable - Takes awhile to get the straps adjusted right, but overall a great shoe. I love Zappos!

Had to return. I really wanted to love these. They had great arch support and were very comfy while just standing in them, but I could not get the straps adjusted to where they would stay where they were comfortable. I read all the reviews and saw others had issues with the straps cutting into their feet, but took the chance that it would work itself out. It did not. The straps would tighten with every step and felt like they were cutting into your big toe and top of foot. Maybe it has something to do with not having a back strap?? Sadly sending back, but will try the flip flops with non-moving straps.

Super comfortable until you start to move! Sadly the straps wont stay in place, the toe strap continues to tighten.

I love Chaco sandals. I have several pair, and once I get them adjusted, they are awesome -- I can wear them gardening, hiking, and be comfortable. They clean up easily, and wear well. I thought these would be a great compromise between flip flops and a full sandal with heel strap: easy to put on and take off, and to shake out those little sticks and stones that can work their way in. I don't know what it is with these -- the lack of a heel strap or my high instep or what -- but no matter how I adjusted these, when I walked a few minutes, the toe straps tightened down so much on their own that they cut off circulation in my big toe. I am sending them back, but I wish I didn't need to.

I like the look and arch support of this sandal. But I'm disappointed in the way they tighten up as you walk and I have to keep loosening the strap at the toe. If I don't I can't slip them on and off easily and the toe strap feels tight. If I'd worn them around the house a little longer without going outside, I'd have returned them.

Chacos need a backstrap. That's all there is to it. I couldn't walk in these. I barely even tried them because they just didn't work. I know that Chacos can be great. This style just isn't a keeper.

As a flip flop goes. I love Chacos and have had several styles in my closet. This is the first time for this style and I haven't quite gotten the fit right and the straps crisscross and are intertwined... so you have to fidget to get the fit just right. Once you get it right, they are comfortable but they don't seem to stay that way? Not sure. I will keep trying.

I wish I could have gotten this sandal to fit properly. I was purchasing this shoe for my plantar faciitis and it seemed to be very supportive in that respect, but I also have wider feet and had to go up a size for the straps to not dig into my foot. I tried for over a month to get the straps to adjust properly, but couldn\'t get them to stay in the postion that I wanted them. I\'ll try another pair of chacos.

I like these sandals, but they have some problems. They look really cool, I have them in Skye. They are sturdy, provide support, have nice arch support, and the bumpy texture feels kind of nice. It\'s also great that they\'re easy to wash. Like so many others have said, the first time wearing them is a pain because the strap moves around and strangles your foot. Also, I have the strap cuts into my foot. I literally have scars (hence the 3 star rating, sadly). Other than that, I love the way they look. I have them in size 7 although I usually wear 7.5. They\'re definitely wearable, but feel a little narrow. I\'d say they\'re true to size.

Despite the ability to tighten the straps at will, I didn’t feel like the one that wraps around the toe was good enough to risk wearing for long periods of time. When I tried these on, the toe strap was either too loose or too tight and didn’t feel like I could get a good balance of tightness on any of the straps. I returned them and got the Hipthongs instead, which give me the security and comfort I was looking for.

I want to be more excited about these sandals than I am. The footbed is very comfortable, like all Chacos, but the straps are an issue. They tighten significantly as I walk, constricting my toes while loosening across the top of my foot. This requires fairly frequent adjustment to keep them properly secured on my feet and to prevent blisters. As I wear them, they are improving and changing less, but they were not perfect out of the box like my other Chacos.

Less comfy than expected... The size and fit were right on, but the straps are difficult to get just right. Overall, I'd stick with the ankle strap design.

So far not so good - I live in New York City but am a mountain girl at heart. I was very excited to get these shoes for a Colorado trip. I am used to wearing Tevas so maybe I'm not doing it right but I can't get these shoes to work on my feet. Hopefully they will settle in to fit my foot but right now they squeeze my feet out the back and won't stay in place. Sadly I wish I could send them back. They just don't work for walking long distances.

I really love the way these shoes look, but I cannot for the life of me get them to adjust comfortably and stay adjusted. After walking for a few minutes I need to adjust them again. I thought maybe that after wearing them for awhile they would settle in, but not the case. The toe strap continually tightens and the ankle strap loosens. I just couldn't get them to work. I'm going to try a different style of Chacos sandal without the toe strap and hope it works.

These shoes have a lot of arch, too much for me. It felt like I was walking on the outside of my foot. If that is what you need, this is the shoe for you!

These are amazingly cute but the big toe strap was cutting into my skin and leaving marks. I tried them out for a few days and decided that they were hurting too much. Wish I could have kept them.

These sandals are the most difficult and uncomfortable shoes ever! I adjusted the straps, but when walking, they loosened up in some places and tightened on my big toe. The sole of the shoe is supportive, but I cannot deal with re-adjusting the straps numerous times.

I really wanted to love these but the strap going from my pinky toe across is way too tight. Both shoes were tight but one foot noticeably more so. My daughter who is the same size tried them on and said the same thing. These will be exchanged for a pair of Tevas.
