Weird arch - I returned these. The middle of the shoe felt like it was sticking up more than just normal arch support...it felt bizarre. These also made me look like a Teva/Birkenstock earthy mama so, they had to go back. Comfortable and relatively cute, but not cute enough. Sorry Chaco!

Comfort without the klunkiness - There is one stationary strap that goes across the top of the foot and if you have a high arch is a bit tight when you first wear them. I am hoping it stretches, but otherwise the sandal was comfortable right away.

Great choice. Really cute and great comfort level. You just have to get the straps adjusted correctly. These seem to stay on better than the Hipthong, esp. the newer eco tread Hipthong which is a bit too baggy...I like that you can tighten these so they stay to your feet better. I was told by a shoe salesperson that once these are worn a bit, that the adjustment will stop slipping around, as some ppl have observed that the strap tightens around their large toe. I haven't found this to be the case, but then I haven't worn the sandals for hours on end either, yet. I like them so well I am getting another color...

Lovin' em - Give them about a week to adjust to your feet and enjoy! These shoes offer a great high arch support, and are very comfy! They are great to wear to the beach and pool because they dry quickly. I don't leave home without them!

Great Support Sandal - I love this sandal! I wear it from the time I wake up until I go to bed. My heel pain has almost completely gone away. It did take about 5 days to get used to the straps and adjusting them but now they are perfect. I recommend to anyone with heel pain.

Blue Heaven - I like my Zong's--mostly. I am not keen on the thinner strap. I wish I had a wide. I like the fabric and the way the sole feels (my 5 year old Chaco’s were dead soles). I think I miss the softened by wear fabric. Really I like them. They look nice.

Great!! I received my Chaco Zongs and put them on immediately. It took a day or two to get the straps adjusted just right but they have been extremely comfortable. I wear them every where I go. They are my main shoes for the summer.

Chaco's Zong Eco Tread Sandal - This shoe is everything it claims to be. The ease of adjustment and the arch support, make it a great all-day sandal. Would highly recommend!

Chaco’s are the best! This is my second pair of the Chaco Zongs. Now I have black and brown. First I ordered the Chaco Wrapsody and didn't like them at all. I returned those, and settled with a style I was already familiar with. I couldn't have asked for a better pair of sandals. They are great for traveling because they go with most anything. You can’t go wrong with this comfortable, stylish, and well-made shoe.

Loved them! These are super comfortable, good arch support, your feet don't slide out, and it’s easier to put these on than the regular ones with a back strap.

Narrow foot miracle!!! I just received my shoes today...I wasn’t expecting the fit to be good, just thought I would give it a try. These shoes are FULLY adjustable for a PERFECT FIT!! What a genius thing to do!! So far, very comfy. Zappos ROCKS!!!!

These Chaco's Trekked Through Mexico - I bought these rugged sandals for a medical mission trip to Mexico. I spent 12 days hiking up and down the mountain side from village to village moving a portable medical clinic and standing on my feet all day to treat patients. These sandals exceeded my expectations! They are well soled and comfortable. Snug enough to use over dirt paths and uneven roads, but not so tight that my feet felt squashed. I wear a 7.5 M street shoe, and ordered the half size smaller in this sandal. It was right on the money. Although it was a little more than I wanted to spend, I know now that is was a wise choice, given how much walking I did over uneven terrain. It was equally as comfortable though in the streets of Mexico City upon my return to the city. I would easily purchase another pair, but don't need to since this one appears to wear well.

amazing shoe! I have had a bone spur in my heel for the past year and these are the only shoes that not only don't hurt my feet, they are actually improving the quality of my heel. I now own almost every color!

I liked this shoe although it turned out to not work for me. The size was true to size for me. I found it very difficult getting the strap across my toe adjusted properly and for $80 I didn't want to lose a toe! I would recommend them however and had I been able to get them properly adjusted I would have kept them. They are solid and well made.

Felt kind of like flip flops...did not stay tight on my feet like the regular Chaco sandals. If you want a flip flop type shoe that doesn't look like a flip flop, then this could work for you.

Great arch support. True size. Still figuring out most comfortable strap alignment, but I really like them a lot.

Chaco Zong EcoTread - I love the look of this shoe, and the foot bed is very comfortable. However, the straps tend to move around, resulting in big toe strangulation. I'm hoping this will abate some once I've worn them for awhile.

Good sandal - I love the look. The comfort is depending on your arch. I have a low profile foot and arch. It takes me a while to get used to them, but once I do, they are great! I think it even helps my foot. If you have high arches then this is the shoe for you. When they are new, the straps slide too much to get a good fit. Wear them in the outdoors in grit a couple of times and the straps will stick where you set them!

Great product - need to break it in - I've been enjoying my Chaco’s, especially given the 25% recycled rubber soles, but be forewarned, you have to break them in first. I went on a walk the first time I wore these, I ended up with blisters from the straps. Also, the right toe strap keeps pinching but I am sure that it's just a matter of breaking in the shoe first, I'm definitely happy with my purchase--I'm wearing them hiking in Seattle next week. Love the look and the support!

Cute, but... I really love Chaco's. That being said, I'm finding it a bit hard to love this shoe. I like it a lot, but don't find myself wearing it as much as my other Chaco's. It's tricky every time I put the shoes on because I have to adjust the straps to get it to stay on. I guess I prefer the ones with a back strap. I usually wear slides, but these just don't stay on as well. Still, a very cute shoe. I got the parfait color and it is adorable and goes with everything.

I owned the hipthong and wore them out, but decided to try a different version this time. I have to send these back. Very comfortable, but the straps don't stay where I adjust them to. After 30 seconds the straps change and my toe and across the top of my foot becomes strangled! I'm all for adjustment, but give us a way to keep the adjustments that we set.

Slipping Straps - I have a medium width ball, very narrow heel, high arches, with low volume feet overall. This footbed is perfect. It has excellent arch and metatarsal support. I am recovering from plantar fasciitis and these feel wonderful, until... After walking about in them for about ten minutes, the instep strap pulls so much that it strangles my big toe. No matter how many times I adjust them, the same thing happens.

I have worn Chaco’s for years, and this is the only style that has been a disappointment. Because of the open back, they don’t feel secure, and I find I have to adjust the straps frequently. They do fit correctly so I can only assume that is the shoe design.

Like many others, I wanted to love this shoe. The foot bed is awesome, but the straps would tighten as I walked, while the strap with the fastener would loosen. I tried adjusting, and it still didn't matter. They continues to tighten as I walked. I am so pleased with Zappos customer service, quick, and friendly. No problems with returning, ever!!!
