Fantastic shoe! So flattering, and comfortable. I am buying in every color (well, 3 out of 4). Hip-looking but not too young for this 40-something.

Fantastic, comfortable, cute, professional-enough - I love these shoes. Like most New Yorkers, I walk a lot and I have a hard time finding heels I can wear all day long without being in pain. These are great. The heel is low enough to be comfortable but high enough to look flattering. The heel itself is well-shaped; it feels stable without looking thick. Very cute, sort of retro style with the cut-outs and rounded toe. Closed-toe enough to look professional and I can wear them to court, but they feel almost sandal-like and are comfortable to wear without stockings. Great traction with the rubber sole, also.

Great shoe - I wore this shoe for the first time for 6 hours and it was comfortable the whole time. I got the brown patent leather and it is adorable. I will buy from Sofft again.

Cute! Cute and comfortable from day one. It has a chunky enough look that goes great with wide leg pants but pairs well with a skirt too.

Loved 'em! Amazing shoe. Perfect for dressing professionally during warmer months and the style even allows a dark color (I have them in black) to go with a skirt or dress. These are the most comfortable heels I've worn in a long time. They're also very supportive for a sling back.

I'm a Forensic Investigator & on my feet most of my shift. When I wear these shoes, by the end of the day they do not hurt as others do.

Comfy even with bunions! I have an extremely hard time wearing any sort of heels because I have bad bunions (have had them since 16). Usually heels hurt for two reasons: squeezing the bunion (width) and the additional pressure on that region which causes the bunion to hurt. I wore these shoes all day for a wedding and only had a slight blister from rubbing (normal since one toe pops up b/c of the bunion) BUT NO PAIN!!!! This is a huge deal for me. Quite literally whenever I have to wear heels I usually bring sandals to change into when I can no longer bear it, and have to nurse my feet for 2 days after. THIS IS THE FIRST SHOE THAT WAS PAIN-FREE!!! Highly recommend. Everyone's feet are different, so order from Zappos and get free returns if they don't work out! I ordered 7W and they were perfect for me.

Overall a fairly comfortable shoe. I love the look, and the heel is just high enough to be cute, without really feeling like you are wearing a heel. It rubs the top of my big toe a little (the combination of the side opening and overlap of the pieces), but not enough to be a deal breaker, even though I do a fair amount of walking for work.

Comfortable, modern-styled sling - I normally don't care for the currently in style "chunky" heels that brands like Sofft and Clarks offer because I think they make my feet look "heavy", but this sling doesn't look chunky at all. I usually won't even try a shoe with a heel higher than 1 3/4", but this one is so comfortable that I didn't even notice that the heel is higher than I normally wear. Another plus, the style actually makes my feet look small and dainty, not something that usually happens with size 8 1/2 wide feet. I didn't have any problems with my toes poking out of the cutouts that some of the other reviews mentioned--just get the right size and width!

Among the most comfortable heels I’ve ever worn - I am ready to buy the entire line of Sofft heels. The Callan heels are attractive and more comfortable than any sling backs I've ever worn.

Wonderful shoe - I ordered this style in brown and they are so comfortable. I ordered another pair in black patent, and I hope they are comfortable because patent does not stretch. Great shoe to wear all day and into the evening.

Very comfortable and cute! These shoes took a couple of times to break in, but now they are very comfortable and go well with my business casual attire at work as well as more dress up to go out to dinner, etc!

Great for narrow feet - This is a cute look for narrow feet. The round toe gives the illusion of a wider foot. This is more of a "kitten" height heel, so it's very comfortable for walking. There's good padding, too. All in all, a fashionable shoe that is easy to wear--a rarity!

Made to Last - These are the perfect three-season shoe, especially if you don't always want to show your toes. It goes well with pants as well as skirts. It is VERY flattering on the foot as well as the leg. It looks fashionable and not old-lady-ish, but the heel is sturdy and easy to wear but still looks feminine and not clunky. The only reason I gave these shoes 4 stars instead of 5 stars for comfort, is that I should have ordered the wide width but they were sold out in my size. I can still wear them for hours, but the toes do pinch a bit.

Gggorgeous! I purchased the patent dark brown, and I could not be more pleased with these shoes. They are unbelievably comfortable, perfect heel height, and are just stunning shoes overall. They look so good on, even nicer than I imagined--very pretty.

Sofft Black Patent - These are very comfortable and stylish shoes!

The Sofft Callan is a comfortable classy shoe. It is elegant yet comfortable. It looks marvelous with a dress and classy with slacks. I have a number of Sofft shoes. The heels on most wide shoes are too wide. The open heel on this takes care of this problem. Most of the Sofft shoes, at least the ones I have purchased are a bit too wide over the toes for me. I have short toes and a high instep. I look for shoes that keep this problem at bay. Over all it is a nice shoe.

Perfect for what I need - I like this heel height -- any higher and it hurts my foot. The shoes have a comfortable pad in the base which lets your foot sink in. I've gotten lots of compliments on them too.

Great shoe - This shoe is very comfortable right out of the box and is a pleasure to walk in. It is also a good looking shoe that has already received a number of compliments. The cut-outs in the front are very attractive either with bare feet or with stockings.

Great shoe! Very comfortable and stylish for work/casual. The toe was tight at first but stretched a little after the first few days. I got these for a trip to San Francisco and every day work shoes and they're great.

GREAT shoes - Soffts are the most comfortable shoe you'll ever wear... like having slippers on all day. Fit true to size, dressy enough for work and feel even better. HAVE THEM ON RIGHT NOW! This is the 4th pair I've bought in 8 months (different styles/colors of course).

Comfy from the go!!!! Purchase these from another website (unfortunately) and I had bunion surgery with 3 broken toes just 2 1/2 months ago. They are comfy from the word go!!! Just ordered the black patent. I'm set for the spring and summer in these. Heel height perfect for skirts and dresses. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM. Wish they had them in bone and red.

Terrific Shoes - These shoes arrived today and I just love them. They are true to size and width. I wanted an every day sort of shoe that was cute and comfortable and these shoes are great for that! I have been wearing them around the house for a couple of hours and they are still comfortable and they are so adorable. The non skid sole is a great feature, especially since I have all tile floors. I highly recommend these shoes.
