Runs wide - This shoe runs wider than a "N" should - it required a pad in order to keep the foot back in place. Other than that, I was well pleased - good height for standing comfortably.

Comfortable "retro" shoe. I have it in the butterscotch color and it goes equally well with skirts, jeans and especially knee-length dress shorts. Yes the toe box is a little square, but not a problem for me (7 1/2 W). Heel height is pretty good for comfortable walking throughout the day. A great find.

Sofft Callan, black - Stylish, comfortable and well made... but not true to size. These shoes run a little small and the toe box is somewhat short. Thankfully, I have short toes, so they fit. The width feels like a C/D, which works perfectly for me but may be too narrow for anyone needing a true D width. Heel height is perfect. Zappos customer service was excellent, as always.

Great shoe for travel and office - The Callan was the first SOFTT shoe I tried. I quickly obtained all available colors in my size (6.5 W) I traveled to Tahiti & back in these shoes. Now I have tried other styles as well and am pleased with all of them. As it is coming up on a year since I first purchased my Black patent Callans, I needed to replace them & just ordered 2 more pairs of the Black patent as they are still meeting all of my needs. I hope Sofft will continue to offer these wonderfully comfortable and multi-tasking shoes!

Do you hate heels? You'll love this shoe! Soft everywhere, so cute, easy to walk in. I haven't worn heels but once in a blue moon, for years, and spent 6 hours in these right out of the box! Highly recommended! Fit just like expected. I have a wide short foot with a high instep - 6 1/2 W was perfect,

Excellent commuter shoe - I am thrilled with this pair of Sofft shoes. I could immediately put them on and wear them throughout the airport and train station. They are comfortable and don't squish my toes. I have already received compliments as well.

Classy & comfy 50s style! What a wonderful shoe style, to begin with. I was looking for a lovely toasty brown dressier shoe, with a heel just this height. I thought I'd try Sofft, as I definitely need comfort shoes anymore, but really am a sucker for fun styles. I also have to get shoes in wider widths, which Sofft offers. These are perfect all around, as they have a very cushy footbed, with a nice arch support. The sole is flexible, and the heel is so cute, but not so high you constantly feel it. The leather is good quality, with a lovely finish - especially around the edges. The toe cut-outs really make a great style, and remind me of 50s shoes I've always loved. I usually wear a size 7, and these were perfect in that size.

Great Heel - I am not one to wear heels. I can probably count the number of days that I wear heels in a year on one hand, but these are so comfortable that I find myself wanting to wear them instead of my regular flats. The only thing I would change about the shoe is the bronze outline. I would prefer it to be just plain black, but it still works. I noticed that there is a similar style (Selena) available now that doesn't have the outline, might have to give those a try. Zappos was also fantastic as usual with the shipping!

New shoes for me! I was really afraid to get 'big girl' shoes. I wear mostly tennis/hiking shoes but needed something for a holiday party. These were great. The little bit of contrasting color made them PERFECT.

Sexy shoe without the super high heel - Love these shoes now that I finally gave in and ordered 1/2 size larger than what I usually wear. The toe box is small so going larger solved the problem. The adjustable strap helps with keeping the heel in, and the cushy insole is wonderful. I am enjoying wearing them to work.

My Search is Over! I have been searching for a comfortable dress heel and finally found the perfect shoe! The padding is superb at the ball of the foot where I need it most, as well as the entire footbed. I have bunions and needed a "W" width in the front, however my heels are on the narrow side, so Callan's adjustable slingback was the answer to my prayers. I bought them in brown and in black. When my daughter saw them, she wanted a pair for work as well. She is on her feet all day as a sales associate. She needed to look appropriate for high end retail, but also needed extreme comfort. This is the shoe for us!

Nice Dress Shoe - I love this brand, can't beat the padding and the comfort. The shoe is very cute. Like all Sofft's, tho, it pinches just slightly in the toe, but not unbearable. The brown patent is really pretty. Fits well, good heel height.

Love Them! I usually think heels are uncomfortable, so I've gotten out of the habit of wearing them... until I found these beauties. The toe area is really cute and curved while not looking too bulky or childish. At the same time, there's plenty of room for my toes to move around and not be squished. The heel is a great height, I can wear these with pants hemmed for flats and it still looks good. The rubber on the bottom of the soles and heels makes you feel very secure and comfortable when walking. The sling back strap actually stays on, or if it happens to slip off, you can step back into it without having to adjust with your hands. I got the dark brown patent - they are very cute - amazingly actually something I'd wear to work and out and about. I'm pretty much a 6.5 all the time, but the 7s fit the best for me.

Very comfy shoe - Great shoe, very comfortable. I don't think these are as stylish as some of the other Sofft styles, but they are so comfortable - heel not too high, love the insole, very cushiony. For people who crave a comfort shoe with some style, Sofft is the ticket. I have tried Cole Haan with the Nike sole and it doesn't even come close! I now own 4 pairs of Soffts and am looking for more.

I absolutely love this shoe. I need a wide fitting and it fits very well. It makes my feet look less "clunky" than they sometimes do - almost petite!! If it were available in other colors I would get them but even though brown is an option it is never [so far] in stock.

Great shoe! This was my second pair of Sofft shoes. Both pairs bought for a wedding where I knew I would be doing a lot of standing the first time I wore them. They felt and looked great! No sore feet or pinched toes! I will definitely consider buying Sofft again.

I was very happy with this shoe. Wore for 8 hours walking and standing the first day and only had a little rubbing discomfort on my pinky toes. Overall very comfortable and cute. Fit true to size.

Good ones, soft comfortable, flattering. Cons: a little tight in the toe box (too much padding?), though it seems it'll get better in no time; the holes on the outer sides were unequal on my pair resulting in a different amount of toes showing (and in different places) - so they go back. In general, if you are under 30 and a heel wearer, this is a great shoe for work if you need to stand whole day. By the way, I think the patent ones are pretty and I did not find any white stuff on it.

The shoe looks nice with a dressy dress and with nice slacks. Seemed very true to size, which is not a Sofft strength in my experience so I read reviews if there are reviews. Comfortable. The heel offers enough support that at the end of the day my bad ankle is not stressed.

Beauty and Comfort - I love these shoes. I have wide feet and find it very hard to find shoes with any heel at all that are comfortable. These are very comfortable.

Saved my feet! I bought these shoes to attend a special dressy event. I do not do well with heels/dress shoes, as I have a difficult bunion with a fairly wide foot and usually get so much pain by the end of an evening I am limping home. I teach during the day and must wear Danskos or similar type shoes. Right out of the box these were very comfortable. "Sofft" is a most apt name. At my big event, they carried me easily through cocktails and buffet and even to my shock allowed me to walk with grace through a newly dedicated four floor hospital. Wow!!! Oh, and they looked great too!

Sling backs - Love my new shoes, I bought two pairs thinking that I would send one back, however; when they both arrived, I loved both and decided to keep them.

Great shoe! I have been looking for a sexy black shoe for a LONG time. Love patent leather. They immediately felt comfortable due to padding and a lot of room in the toe area. A lot of high heel shoes pinch my toes as they come to a point. I got this shoe in a wide so they would be even more roomy. I am a borderline med. to wide. I usually take a 7.5, but opted for the 8 so that my toes would not hit the end so hard and I could also put padding sole if I wanted. Heels make your foot slide forward.

Pleasant surprise - I just liked the style of this shoe when shopping so I ordered it. It looks great, fits nicely, and felt comfortable right out of the box and several hours later. I love these shoes.

Versatility with comfort - Very happy with this shoe. I ordered the wide width and they are comfortable without looking big.
