Sadly I have been wearing topsiders since the early 80's. Quality was fantastic. My shoe size has been the same for 50 plus years. . The shoe now doesn't fit well anymore. My toe gets numb, not much cushion and only one color that comes in narrow. This pair I purchased was 9,5M and still have the same problems Besides the original the blue fish was the best. I don't want to chance creating my own for a much higher price knowing it can't be returned.

People with wide feet, usually have high insteps. This needs to have a lot more room.

Insoles came loose after about 4weeks of wear. Tried to buy new insoles no luck and Sperry doesn't sell them.so if your insole comes loose your out of luck.

I really like the style of these BUT after wearing them more than once it seems to have lost its structure and looks really worn out and I've barely worn them. I don't know if maybe I got one of low quality or this is typical. I got the tan beige ones and it looks strained near the seams and it even fits wide on me. It looks like it's falling apart. Disappointed at my first sperry-buy.

very snug and uncomfortable, So unfortunately i cant reAlly wear the shoe. I bOught them months ago and had not even tried them on and so i think i was past the return date sadly.

I bought a pair in September 2014 and only got to wear them a handful of times before the stitching in the shoe came out making it unable to wear them. I ignored the problem as the late months in the year in Maine aren't the best time to wear these type of shoes. Now that it is getting warmer out I realize how much I wish I would've said something before the return policy ran out. I loved these shoes and the style however I was very upset with the quality. This is my third pair and I've never had problems but this problems makes me hesitate to buy another pair.

This boat shoe is very attractive and well made. However, I was very disappointed to see that the foot beds only extended half the length of the bottom of the shoe and were barely glued in. After wearing them around the house for 10 min they were coming up when I walked. This has happened to me with other sperrys in the past. I wish they would sew them in instead of cheaply gluing. I would have worn them out! I had to return.

I was super excited when I finally got my Sperrys in the mail. I'm a size 7 in almost all my shoes but when I tried these on they were way too small. I could barely get them on, and when I finally did, they hurt so bad because they were suffocating my feet. I wore them around the house to break them in but I think they're just too small to break in. They have small creases now but hopefully I could still return them for a bigger size.

I was very excited to get these shoes as i have wanted them for a while and got them because school is about to start. When i got them and put them on, they were tight. They were also very narrow even though I got the medium width, and i don't have a very wide foot and the shoes look a little awkward. I might have to return these and get a refund. These are not worth the money.

I have tried these in several different sizes, but cannot find one that fits. I do not have this problem with any other shoe brand. Very frustrated!

I love my boat shoes. I had owned a pair for over two years when a light fixture fell and sent glass shards into the footbed. Rather than ruin my feet, I chucked my shoes and ordered a new pair. They came in and felt fantastic, but after only 8 months the sole had cracked straight from side to side, along where the ball of my foot is. I was upset, so I returned them and started breaking in the replacement pair. I have had them for two months and only worn them occasionally due to the winter weather. Last week, I noticed that the sole was cracking again, this time along the seam towards the toe. I don't know what they've changed for their materials, but it is a poor decision and one that I hope they reverse soon. It's not worth the money, honestly.

I would never buy shoes from this vendor again. You can only return items for a credit. Buyer beware!

The description does NOT indicate that the Navy boat shoes are leather. I sent mine back the same day. These appeared to be a very poor grade leather, if leather at all. Ordered elsewhere and they were the exact poor quality.

Unfortunately, these did not work out for me. They were way too narrow, and I think the right shoe was defective because I really had a struggle just to get my foot in, then it felt like a knife cutting off my big toe when walking...only took 3 steps and quit due to the extreme pain! Love Sperry's but this ought to come in a wide width. Return was easy with rapid refund.

I bought a pair of this for my daughter, after only 5 days of wearing them to school the sole of the shoe came off

Didn't fit, had to return. Asked for exchange never got it.

The leather is so thin they are almost like moccasins

These shoes are not comfortable. Nothing like the shoes I bought in the store. Cry disappointed

Fell apart the first time it was worn. The sole split. This is the second pair that broke in the exact same spot. I will pick a different shoe for my son in the future.

On September 2, 2022, my shoes, purchased August 22, 2022, broke. The shoelace, which used to be leather and are now coated cotton, broke. Since they are secured on the shoe between the grommets, I could not work the laces around. I was in Salzburg, Germany, and had no recourse. Needless to say, walking around Germany, Austria, and Hungary was difficult and uncomfortable. What shoddy workmanship. I've worn this type of Sperrys for years, gifts from my family. I have been very pleased with them. What happened? I sent back another pair I had purchased a few months ago because there was no arch in the shoe. I want my shoes replaced! I have photos if you would like me to send them. Or should I just send the shoes back?

Two weeks into school and they have fallen apart already. Do not recommend.

they sucked and felt like cardboard, i couldnt walk across the room in then without having to take them off because of the pain

My first disappointment with Sperry. The material is not leather - I have no idea what it is and is already showing signs of wear. The picture made it look like it wasn't the regular lacing which is one of the reasons I bought them. I have problems lacing shoes because my left arm and hand is disabled. Really disappointed in this shoe and I own at least 30 pairs of Sperry boat shoes.

The quality of Sperry shoes is suffering. This is the second pair I have ordered where the sole is cheap and causes my feet to hurt. The entire shoe (upper and lower) is made of thin material. Very disappointed!
