I got this boat shoe in a 7.5 and when they came the color was completely wrong, it was A LOT darker than it looks in the picture. Not too happy.

I bought 2 pairs of this style, the red/white/navy and the navy deerskin, same size & width. The navy deerskin did not feel good on my foot, some stitching poked into my big toe (both feet.) The other pair was fine. Since I bought two pairs, it's not possible to rate it overall.

I had a disappointing experience with the far too small sandals so I ordered this shoe a half size up and wide...thinking I would not need the length as it is a shoe and not a flip flop...STILL too small...order a full size up....remember that Sperry does not pay for returns: that is on your wallet!

These classic boat shoes are declining in quality. I ordered them because they are available in a narrow width. Have worn this type of shoe for years. The inner foot bed is just average. My husband buys Sperry Gold Cup with a wonderful footbed. For some reason Sperry does make these available for women??? Why not?? The leather is OK, but not that soft. The width is true to size, I wear 8.5 narrow. These could be made so much better with just the touches I mentioned above. Wish they were.

I have several pairs of boat shoes which are actually leather. Although I like this navy shoe, they are not made of the usual heavy leather that my other boat shoes are. It is almost like a heavy suede material. I kept them because I wanted a navy pair but I am not happy with the material they are made of. It is NOT an "Authentic" boat shoe.

I bought these a week ago and the front rubber part broke off after I caught my foot on the carpet. Quality doesn't match the price.

I purchased these in the spring and wore them twice. They are super comfortable however because the white dole sticks out so far I tripped, hurt my knee and a chunk came off. Now it looks horrible. I am so upset and sad because they are completely ruined but so comfortable. Disappointed with this design it is dangerous and irresponsible.

I love the boat shoe, but the sole is ill designed. The rubber sole protrudes too far from the edge of the toe. It grabs the floor and caused me to fall several times . Compared to my original Sperry boat shoes it has this one flaw. Please address this issue. I am struggling wearing them,,,,,,,,,

I have the same pair in the Sahara Leather which I really like, the Navy leather is completely different. The shoe fit is completely different, very tight, and the leather texture looks cheap and with a look of wrinkles. For the price, it is not worth it. It is like if they were made by two different manufacturers in two different country. Be aware. I didn't return them because I already used them and they look very used which they are not.

I had a pair as a kid that I loved. These were beyond disappointing. Wide?! Please! I may try again for extra wide but the wide were so narrow I can't imagine they'll fit. On the up side returning them was easy.

I returned them because they are very narrow and I don't have a wide foot. I like the color and so was attempted to exchange for a wide version but the heel slipped so much that I decided not to.

What the heck.. Ive only wore my new boat shoes one day and they fell apart.. I'm so upset.

These shoes are made from quality leather BUT they are VERY narrow around the toes. I ordered 10W ang got a wierd trianglar shoe that is wide at the heel and instep and pointed at the toes. Sperry is not comitted to comfort!!!

Terrible blisters on the insides of my insteps from the shoe interior after only four hours of wear at sea. Most people buy these for fashion reasons; not me; I'm an active crewman on a sailboat. I love the traction offered by the sole, but these blisters hurt. Maybe loafer-style deck shoes just don't suit my feet, but they're expensive and now I cannot return them. Would not recommend for active sailors. Please make sandals like Tevas with your wonderful deck-friendly sole!

I purchased the Authentic Original Boat Shoe in Navy and Sahara. The two shoes are not the same quality. The sahara is ok. I wish it had a leather footbed, instead of the fabric one, at least the shoe is good quality leather. The Authentic Original Boat Shoe in Navy is not great. If I had seen it in person I would not have bought it. The leather is very soft, it feels more like a slipper when I put it on and appears to be a bonded leather. I have worn Sperry A/O boat shoes for years. The navy A/O boat shoes I recently purchased are not the quality I am used to. I won't buy sight unseen again.

Very cheap leather thin sole. So far from what Sebago and even Sperry used to offer

I bought my first pair of Sperry Dock Siders in the 90's and loved them. I was equally prepared to love this new pair but not so. Although they look good the shoe is entirely different than I expected. The "leather" is too soft and pliable giving the shoe no structure. It's like wearing a bedroom slipper that you already know is not supposed to be a shoe. I wish I could return them.

The website listed my selection as "grey" but the color is actually taupe, with grey laces. Returned without trying them on.

The image of these shoes on the Sperry website/box does not reproduce the true color of this model. Unfortunately, these shoes are to be returned.

I've owned a few pair of Sperrys and these just don't hold their shape in my high arched feet. Normally Sperry's work well. Both of my feet roll to the opposing side of my body when wearing these around the house to test. Returning.

I like this shoes, fit well. But the shoes that looks like not new. There are scratches and not clean condition.

The tonal authentic original does not feel or fit as nicely as the Authentic Original Sperry Topsider. The leather is hard and the interior does not hold up for very long. I have worn SperryTopsider A/O for over 40 years. None of your other models fit & feel the same as the A/O. The most comfortable best-fitting A/O was the only Gold Cup women's A/O that you made for only a year. I wish I had ordered at least one more pair as you don't make the Women's Gold Cup anymore. I will still order A/O from you so please don't stop making them!
