I loved the design and confort of these shoes; however I had trouble getting the correct size for me. I am usually a 6 or 5.5, but this shoes are very big for me. I ended up having to purchase a different shoe under junior Section. I did not get to keep this design but I would highly recommend it. It's very well made and I'm sure harvest for outdoor activities.

I got these to wear for my job as a rural mail carrier. I knew I wouldn't be walking a lot, but needed something to protect my feet in the office and work well for running packages to the doors. I had a similar pair bought about 15 years ago which I finally had to throw out recently. These don't seem as padded or as comfortable, but I am confident that with a little breaking in I will love them.

Love the shoes! When they were delivered I found small scratches on the heel. Little disappointed, but the are going to be used, and not for light duty, so I kept them.

I ordered these in a 6½W. 6½ is my usual size. I am usually between a W and a regular width, but closer to a wide. I liked these boots, thought that they were light weight and generally well made, (there was a small gap in the seal between the upper and the start of the heel, but they were too roomy in the front and I ended up with creases when I bent my foot, so I am returning them.

Love the boots. Wish it was easier to get wide size. My heals bothered me before I got these boots and now my feet are pain free. I don't do a great deal of hiking but many times am on my feet all day.

Nice boot. I have bunions on both feet, the wide is perfect for me - wear them all the time. I tried the New Balance in wide, because that is what I had for years. However, they were too tight this time and had to return them. But, my foot just slipped right into the Timberland - been wearing them ever since. Nice ankle support, too. Highly recommend for fat feet.

I think this boot runs small. I always wear 7.5 or 8W across brands. I 'never' wear 8.5. They are tight with socks that I would normally wear with this type of boot. My toes are at the top of the boot. I am returning.
Also The boots are scuffed up on top even though the sole is unworn looking. Not sure why they are so scuffed looking.

I had to have a pair of hiking boots that would work for me right out of the box. I bought three, and returned these, even though I liked the "rocker" feel of the sole. They seem very sturdy, and fit me without any gaps (which I prefer, with my hypermobile feet) without rubbing anywhere more than any other spot. I just liked the Keens a little bit better, mainly because of the roomy toe box.
So I probably would have been very happy with these, but I had to go with my initial perception of the fit while walking around inside my house. I would say that these are true to length and width. Maybe just a hair on the short side. I think I recall that my toes were able to bump the tips of the boots if I wiggled enough.

I'm headed to Iceland next week, and I've spent the past month furiously shopping for hiking boots (mostly through Zappos). I have little feet, but they're wide, and it can be such a trial finding shoes that don't squeeze my toes or give them blisters. I finally settled on these boots. They're comfortable and lightweight, but they feel sturdy, comfortable, and well made. They're slightly narrower than I might like (with medium weight hiking socks), and when my feet get hot - as they inevitably do in hiking boots - I suspect that my pinky toes might rub a little. But I'm looking forward to using them nonetheless!

I really wanted this boot to work for me. It's lightweight, flexible, and supportive. But it just isn't wide enough. I think an E or EE would have worked, but those don't exist in women's hiking boots. Also, I had to add a heel insert under the insole to lift my heel so that the ankle support would fit properly and not rub against the bone, but I am short and that's a trick I frequently need to use with any shoe that comes up high around the ankle. I'm very sad to send these back.

I have had many pairs of them a loved them all. I need wide so have bought men’s. No one had my size in men’s, so I ordered a larger size in women’s. Unfortunately, they are too narrow. They have to go back.

Loved the style of the boots, very classy and utilitarian. They were waterproof and did well on terrain. I still got a number of blisters from wearing, unfortunately, so not super great for hikes or traveling.

Felt too short in my normal size 8. Feels very stiff and uncomfortable especially where my toe hits. Will be returning. Undecided whether to reorder a half size larger.

Use to walk dogs in inclement weather. They are comfortable and keep my feet dry. I love these boots, except for the durability of the soles. The soles on both of my pairs of boots wore out too quickly. I have recommended these boots, but I caution about the soles. Will probably purchase again, though.

I really wanted to like these boots, but they were super stiff and not anywhere close to wide enough for my feet. I normally wear a 5.5W, but ordered a 6W since that was the smallest available. I could barely get my foot in the boot and there wasn't any give once I did. The look is great and they seemed really well built, but sadly, they just didn't work for me.

Would have loved to give more stars, but am So Frustrated by the industries lack of ability to grasp what WIDE means. Women need & DESERVE hiking shoes & we aren't all narrow footed - & "Wide" should actually be WIDE!

After reading so many reviews about these boots running narrow, I decided to take a chance and try the wide width; thank goodness I did, because they fit me like a glove (in a good way)! I do not have wide feet, so if you need to buy for a wide foot, then these boots are not for you. I would have surely kept them except for the fact that the padded collar was way too thick and constricting around my ankle to be comfortable. In addition, the padding pushed my heel forward at the Achilles tendon, causing my toes to slide to the end of the boot when I walked in them. It is such an irony that a feature meant to increase comfort winds up being the biggest source of discomfort! I really, really wanted these boots to work out. Many thanks to Zappos for their very generous return policy and excellent service!

I bought these about 2 weeks ago for my trip to Iceland this Tuesday. I have never owned a pair of boots prior so I'm not sure how to compare them. They feel great on. I normally where an 8.5 so I bought a 9 since I'll have thick wool socks. It feels a little loose around the foot but the length is perfect. Perhaps I should have went with the more narrow option. I am concerned about the seams on the left boot though. It looks like the seam is already coming loose and I am very worried about water getting in the boot. There appears to be small gaps through the seam. If you see the photos, the seam on the left boot looks different than the right. You can see the actual stitching more and a couple small gaps. It has only been two weeks and I noticed this right out the box. Having never wore boots I wasn't sure if this was normal or not to be honest. So I decided to keep them and break them in to see if I liked them. Now I am worried I may have waited to long and maybe it is just a defective pair. Any advice? I don't know if I can return them after wearing for 2 weeks. Plus my trip is in 4 days!

These boots are "manly"... had to check to see if i received women's, not men's boots! These would be really comfy boots if they fit... they are definitely not for the fashion minded women! These were returned...

I work outdoors as a health inspector & dairy farmer wearing a size 5.5 wide shoe. I've owned 2-3 pair of this boot over the years. The last two pair have ripped apart just below the laces where the green fabric & leather meet. It is really disappointing. What happened to them? The first few pairs are still going just as farm shoes, however the last two pair I've had to dispose off because of the issues.

I am extremely disappointed with the sizing on these boots. I have had experience with timberlands being too tight in the past, so I ordered 2 pair this time. I reg width and one wide width. The wide is even tighter than the reg. The rest of the boot feels ok, but right across the top of my foot is way too narrow. Will never even consider Timberlands again!
