I have owned this boot for 2+ years and I love them! Have had to change the laces once but other than that they are the most comfortable and most durable boot I have ever owned. I use them for hiking, camping, yard work, clearing ground for for construction. Wanting to purchase extra pair, not because they are worn out but just to alternate when they are worn.

These are so comfortable right out of the box even before break-in. I take a size 9 narrow in a closed toe shoe but have learned that with heavy socks, a normal width will work in a winter boot or similar. The size 9M fit perfectly with a thick sock and were pretty comfy right away. Having bought them at a local store and wearing them for most of the day, I have to say I am likin' this boot a lot. It's waterproof also so will be great for almost any time I want to wear it. It will supply sure footing in snow too. I didn't want to order online because I needed to do some local try ons before I could see if I could wear a boot like this or not, since my foot is so slender. I have bought from Zappos and 6 PM before however and will again, just not this boot. A little pricy for my taste but I just had to buy it once I put it on. I knew it was a keeper and will give me many years of use.

Straight out of the box these boots are comfortable. I have done several hikes around the trails in them now and my feet feel happy. I have wide flat feet and require full support, these give it, no rubbing, no pinching, just happy feet. Thank you so much Timberland. I will be back.

Great hiking boots right out of the box, and totally affordable. I just bought my second pair after two years of regular use. Truly waterproof and I love that they come in wide width. Wide width hiking boots are hard to find. These require no break-in period. I buy a half size up so I can wear two pairs of socks (liners and warm socks.) I love that I can wear them to death then easily replace them. Not heavy or clunky or too restrictive for driving. I'm hard to fit with really high arches and one wide foot, and these are my go-to boots.

I ordered these boots in a 9 wide and they fit perfectly. In fact, it was as though I'd wore them for days...no breaking in necessary...and I wore them all day long the very first day. They are very comfortable and look great.

These boots are wonderful! I'm a driver at UPS so I'm on my feet running a lot. These fit the bill for what I needed. They are very comfy! I will purchase another pair when they are back in stock.

Great boots. I had broken my middle toe and needed a good supportive boot. These held my foot securely and provided a secure sole that still allowed enough movement for normal walking. Now the toe is all healed and the boots are still super comfortable for hiking, all day long. Great purchase!

Love these shoes! I am investing into my 2nd pair. No breaking in required. I have trekked in Nepal, Morocco and most part of Borneo with it. Have gone through rain and mud and snow, simply love it. Feet are comfortable and definitely no bunions for me!

Very comfortable and can't wait to go hiking in them. Wore them around the house a while already, but they do not seem to be needing to be broken in! Super comfortable from the start. i love that they are water proof. I bought the Wide so I could layer socks or wear thick socks if needed! Great ankle support! I really like these boots! They are a worthy investment!

I bought this boot for the support. I had broken my foot recently and now need the extra support. I'm a barefoot girl but am able to wear these all day comfortably. Very little break in time. Good looking too.

These are amazing boots and are instantly comfortable. I almost wanted to wear them to bed! They are warm and supportive and stylish. When you find something this good you want to recommend it and I highly recommend this boot!

I work as a Ranger for the NPS and the issued boots just weren't cutting it; they were ruining my feet. I decided to buy these on my own and am so glad I did! Comfortable, rugged, and sturdy. I spend almost all of my work day hiking and/or walking and these are perfect.

Nice boot for the trail and pretty darned cute for a boot when I'm just going casual and don't want to wear sneakers. Very trim styling. I was happy to find a wide option but it's even a little on the narrow side for my wide foot. Also, I wish I'd ordered a half-size larger. After a few hours on the trail, my feet feel squished. Trimming down the sock thickness helps, but those high-tech socks don't come cheap. After breaking them in for about a year, I'm headed to the Pyrenees for a week of hiking and feel confident that they'll be just fine if a little snug by the end of each day.

Love these boots! No need to break these boots in. Felt comfortable right out of the box. They are light weight and, with the lacing system, they're easy to slip off and on. Feels great hiking uphill and down, the toe box being roomy enough and the padded collar feels great around the ankle. Good traction on slippery rocks and logs and they are waterproof - not just water resistant. These have to be the first pair of hiking boots I've owned that I didn't want to kick off as soon as I got inside, they are that cushy and comfortable.

This will be my second pair, I wear them daily and the first pair are now being used for yard work. I've also hiked in the mountains in these and they are perfect.

This is a nice solid boot but even in a wide it was too tight in the toe area for my bunions. Zappos shipped with their usual great service and I'm sorry to have to return them. I wish they had a wider toe box!

I wear this to work in and they are great. I am on my feet most of the day and these boots are great to work in. The down side is I have to buy 2 pair a year but well worth it.Price on here is way high though. I pay anywhere from 79-89 depending on the store.

Met my Alaska Adventure challenge. Best boots ever purchased! Required little to no break-in. Performed stupendously in the cold, heat, rain, mud, snow, rocks, brush...I endured while hiking, for the 1st time, in Alaska. Over a week put 50+ miles and 10,000+ vertical climbing feet on boots. Kept feet warm, dry, comfortable...but, also probably should give some credit to my plain old wool socks.

I own this same pair of shoes in a 10W. This new pair is also a 10W, but measures longer and more narrow than my current pair, which I got several years ago.

Omg I really wanted to love these! They were so comfy, but very bulky and heavy.

This hiking boot felt very stiff to me. I was looking for something with a more flexible sole and ended up buying the Danner Mountain 600.

Shoes were tight around the ankles.

I have never needed or worn wide shoes, but if these came in wide in my size, I'd get them. At first they felt comfortable, but then I noticed a blister forming on my little toe and squeezing around my metatarsals on the other foot that I couldn't wear them. Such a bummer because I really liked the look and the support.

Been wearing for about a week so far so good great for walking the dogs.
