Cute, comfy & a little retro. I love these sandals. I ordered them in brown & the color is very deep and rich. The adjustable strap makes it possible for me to wear Danskos at last! I normally wear a 9.5-10 WW & I tried a size 40 in these. My toes push forward just a little bit but I don't want to go up another size because the arch seems to hit just right & I don't want too much room in the heel.

Great shoe but needs to be extra long. I ended up sending back the first pair I bought for a full size bigger than I ever buy. The first pair fit but something about the slope of the sole caused my toes to slide forward and hang over even though the foot bed was long enough -- not very attractive. Another reviewer mentioned this problem and I should have listened. With a bigger size, I loved them. Super comfy sueded sole is like walking on a cloud. With jeans they sort of have a 70s vibe.

These are stylish and comfortable sandals -- not a frequent combination! It's great that the front buckle is adjustable. However, the bit of elastic anchoring the back buckle has completely stretched to the point of uselessness, within months. I recommended these shoes to a friend before this happened, and the same thing happened to hers, also within months. This therefore seems like a structural flaw, and I won't be buying them again, sadly. Dansko should really replace this fallible bit with leather, since the shoe flops off one's foot and is all but useless after this happens.

These shoes are so comfortable, but I too had the problem with the back strap being too big. Meanwhile the shoe seemed short - even though I ordered the same size I always wear in Dansko clogs.

I really like how this shoe (red) looks and wanted to keep it, but unfortunately it did not fit right. The back strap was too big around my ankle. I am a 9B and even brought this shoe to our shoe repair guy who said that putting another hole in the back strap would not help at all because it's the bottom one that is gapping. For whatever reason this shoe does not fit like the one in the same size (40) which I tried on in the store (but didn't have the color I wanted). That's the risk you take with mail-order shoes I guess. Thankfully, Zappos is fantastic at keeping their word to get quick shipping and provide it free both ways!

I've had these shoes for about a month, and I receive tons of compliments on them (I've got the bronze finish). I broke my pinkie toe this spring and needed to find a shoe which I could wear with a variety of work outfits to accommodate the busted toe and wasn't a pair of Birkenstocks. I've got feet like Fred Flintstone, so these fit the bill because of their buckles. My biggest complaint is that the material which covers the footbed got super-gross incredibly fast. I don't know about this wicking away moisture business with the Dri-lex. I know I've got a sweaty swamp foot, but after a month, it smells as if these shoes have been in use for years... not weeks. Arch support isn't the greatest. I find I can only wear these for two days before I need to switch into a different shoe.

For some reason these are not as comfortable as my other Danskos. Actually they are really uncomfortable! The under buckle leather digs into my little toes and is painful no matter how loose i make the strap. I made the strap on the widest length to avoid that discomfort and then got blisters on the bottoms of my feet because they were too loose. I bought them as my comfort nude shoes but these will not do.

Entirely too small and too wide. My toes were hanging off the end of the shoe. I ordered a 41, since I wear a 10 but often prefer a 10.5. Ridiculously small, in my opinion. Even if I were to go up to a 42, the straps would be far too loose for my foot. Additionally, the shoe was not at all as cute as it looked online, it was more matronly.

This sandal runs small. I wear a 42 in Dansko clogs and this sandal in a 42 is too short. If they had fit, I still would have returned them. They looked "matronly" (maybe it was the color choice - brown). I love that I can easily ship this back to Zappos.

I was very excited to get this product because of all the positive reviews. I ordered this item in the brandy gecko color and I must say that the shoe did not look like the one pictured. It looked wrinkly. I did try on the shoe and it felt super comfortable but when I looked in the mirror it looked super wide and just plain ugly.

Bought these shoes on reputation of comfort for a trip to Paris. Half way through the first day I had blisters on both feet. Darling shoes and comfortable footbed.

I had to return these shoes because they were too wide and looked a pretty big...I'm sure they would look great on small feet (I'm an 11.5...).

I had foot surgery last summer and needed to find sandals with arch support. This sandal was the best option for my feet. I am a teacher and I am walking all day. They do have a problem with the elastic at the ankle buckle.I ordered these sandals in brown, black, and the berry color. I had never ordered Dansko before, but I will probably try other styles. I had to take the brown pair to the local repair store to have the elastic replaced. I had only worn the sandals five times! I have to wear Band-Aids under the main buckle because part of the metal digs into my foot. Shoes that cost this much shouldn't draw blood or have elastic that breaks in less than a month of wear.

These sandals are beautiful and super comfortable. They are great for people with back problems. However, my feet were sweating lot because of the material on the foot bed and I got stinky feet, so I had to send them back.

I\'m a big fan of Dansko. My foot is wide across the toes and ball, and narrow everywhere else. I also have a high instep. I like the Dansko "Professional" style clog (which this shoe is not) for comfort and stability with the right mix of snugness and looseness. Not surprisingly different styles from Dansko fit differently. If you too are a fan of the "Professional", here\'s how this shoe, the "Sissy", is different. The "Sissy" is less stable and less comfortable for a few reasons. First, the sole where it meets the ground is a little softer and narrower. Where the sole meets your foot (the footbed)is also narrower. The narrower footbed also makes the part that buckles over the toes rub on the sides. It\'s lined, but it also has cut-outs and they scratch in a way that will lead to blisters. I both adjusted the buckle part and also flexed the pieces a bit, and this issue is not going to go away. One final note: I tried these in my regular Dansko size, plus one size up and one size down. All had similar problems worked well enough to keep.

They were the only sandals that I could find that would fit my width. Even though I bought a medium, my ankles aren't wide. However the sand: beige sweat, runs and causes blisters and callous because it just keep stretching. Now when I walk, they should clap down before my foot hits. I sound like a horse--clickety clack. The arch fit wonderfully and these are the only shoes that I can wear with my chronic plantar fasciitis.

These don\'t last as long as they should, given they are Dansko. The fabric footbed was unsightly within a month, and the stitches started coming loose soon thereafter. And yet they\'re relatively comfortable and attractive.

I am buying another pair, because I cannot find anything better. But I bought these a year ago, wore them for the summer, and am disappointed that they are already coming apart at the seams and grimy in the footbed (because it's fabric not leather). These aren't the high quality long lasting shoes I expect from Dansko.

I absolutely love the look and comfort of these sandals. The fit is the closest to a Dansko clog I have come across in a sandal. I would have loved to give them five stars, but a major drawback is the foot bed. After wearing them a day at work, in fairly cool weather, they had the worst foot odor. I have never had a problem with smelly feet in the past; my feet just don't sweat that much. Although they claim to have the anti-bacterial foot bed, it doesn't seem to do much good.

An extremely comfortable and attractive shoe (like walking on a pillow). Alas, I am a 6.5 and the 36 was too small (big toe starting to hang over edge) and the 37's too big. The back straps are not adjustable and I found them to be too large in that the back of the straps did not wrap around the back of my ankles. I have narrow ankles so this might be why. Still, I have not had this particular problem with Dansko shoes in the past.

Runs short, has synthetic fiber footbed - I have half a dozen Danskos and only w/ Sissy did I need to go up a size. Because of that, felt sloppy. But the deciding factor not to keep was the synthetic lining of the footbed--for those of us who have problems with that, beware! No wonder some reviewers claim odor and staining. Too bad, because they are very comfortable and cute otherwise.

I bought this sandals in May, but waited till now to write a review to see how they will withhold. From the very first time I put them on they were extremely comfortable and cute. They still are! But my BIG complain with them: my feet sweat and smell in these shoes! I tried to wash the insole with soap and water (it looks dirty too, although I think my feet are clean when I put them on), used the Fabreeze - nothing helps. They look very worn too after just 4 months - I own a pair of black Lolitas, after 3 summers of intensive ware they still look like new! (All of this I wrote directly to Dansko as well)

Definitely whole size smaller than marked. Totally cute, but after a few wears, the leather stretched, therefore the straps got looser. Because of that, I didn't feel as much ankle and front foot support. Soles are very light and comfortable, but definitely not for long walks.

Comfort Over All - I bought these for comfort and they work for that purpose very well. They fit very wide but thankfully have adjustable straps. Great for walking around the city.
