Cute, comfortable, but too short - I really liked this shoe - it is very cute in a 70s, Dr. Scholl’s kind of way, and extremely comfortable. It also fits my very narrow foot and can be adjusted tighter at both the ankle and toe box. However, I agree with other reviews that the shoe runs short. My toes were really hanging off the end and I ordered the largest size available (41), so I guess I'm out of luck. The dark brown looks great, by the way.

I like comfort shoes - They are a tiny bit too short, my toes work their way to hanging off the front after a few moments of walking around. I could have exchanged them (Zappos service rocks!) but I was in too much of a hurry to wear these cuties out and about. I usually wear an 8.5 and the 39 is too short for me in this style. Very comfortable on the feet. The color red is sort of light and soft. Not bright lipstick red.

Best in comfort and fit!!!! OMG!!! This shoe is soooo comfortable!!! I have very narrow, bony feet and stand all day long for my work. The padding is superior and the buckles adjust small enough for my narrow feet. I recommend this shoe to all widths!!

Sandals for the clog lover - These sandals are extremely comfortable for my short, wide foot, as comfortable as the Sonja Dansko clogs! They are a step up, a bit dressier than your average comfort sandal and can be worn "out". They remind me of a 40’s-look shoe, so if you're into that as I am, go for it...

So cute, so comfortable - This is my first Danskos, after much research. I'd always stayed away from platforms but these feel really secure and they are more comfortable than any sandal I've ever bought. I've sparked loads of jealousy among family and friends!

Just what I needed! I got these because I was graduating with my master's degree and I needed something classy yet comfortable for the ceremony. These were perfect right out of the box and I walked across the stage without any problems! I had no problem with the size, I am a 7.5 and I got the 38. I also loved the front strap; I was able to get a perfect fit! I am very happy with this shoe!

Amazing - I won't take these off this summer. They are cute in that funky orthopedic sort of way and are comfortable as can be. The front strap adjusts for my narrow instep and the footbed is made of velvety soft suede. Buy these. You will not be disappointed.

Best Sandals EVER! I just received my Dansko Sissy Sandals! I absolutely love them. I was completely overwhelmed by the delivery. (Wow - Ordered on Saturday Night, received Monday afternoon!!) Zappos is a great company and I plan to continue to purchase from your website. These sandals are like walking on pillows. I hesitate to purchase even the slightest heel, but these are almost as good as my New Balance Zips! I would highly recommend these!

Heaven! I just got my Sissy's in the mail today and I refuse to take them off my feet! They are incredibly comfortable and cute in that oh-so Euro way. Perfect for my upcoming trip to France.

Dansko Sissy - These shoes are adorable and really comfortable. They look great with dresses or pants. I'm a tiny bit wobbly in them but maybe that's because I'm used to only flat shoes. I read the other reviews and ordered a size up and they fit great.

Wide feet look good - Not many sandals look good on my wide, thick feet. These are the exception. There's enough strap to look proportional to my foot, but wiggle room for my toes, too. Plus, they're darned cute! Doing up a strap every time I want to wear them vs. being able to slip my sandals on is a minor drag. I'm already thinking about a second pair in white...

Perfect modern casual/dressy Dansko! I wear a 10, usually a 42 in Dansko. These babies fit perfectly and comfortably right out of the box. Used the buckle tabs to adjust to my foot. Great arch support as usual. Very attractive. I get many compliments. Suede footbed is very comfortable but can get a little sweaty in Florida so I just don't wear them everyday though if they had the clog insole I could. Great buy! Love them!

Warm weather casual - As expected, Danskos are what have saved my back, hips and overall posture. So I ordered up, and it's fine, I have both 39 and 40s, and I’m used to shoes that slip around. But I would have been fine with 39, probably because my toes are medium shortish. They feel like the same length and ankle strap as my similar stapled 40s so this means they stick past my heel a little so I’ll just be glad it is stable. I’m surprised at how wide it is - I have always stuck to stapled styles concerned that others would not fit. I have a flat foot with narrow heel and wide toe box, assorted foot/leg/back issues. I really like the soft footbed. They look odd from the top to me though they are decent looking from the sides. I personally wish the poppy was darker - with Nubuck the color seems muted visually but I prefer colors on my shoes and it's June... so I didn't get the black... I have already received compliments on them and they are staying on for comfort! Much lighter in weight than they would seem. Thanks for being here Zappos.

I normally wear a 38 in the Dansko clogs, but I took the advice of many other reviewers and went one size up to a 39 and they fit well. Then I compared them to my clogs and the heel is the same size as even though there one size larger. The first two days of wearing the Sissy I wore Band-aids because I was about to get blisters. Now I LOVE them!!!

Changed my mind - I'm keeping them! I reviewed these awhile back, saying they ran small and looked matronly. I had them all boxed up and was ready to return them. However, on short notice, I was made aware of a significant dressy event that required my presence, and I suddenly had need of a sandal with a slight heel for walking all day. I didn't have time to place another order. In desperation I pulled them back out of the box and then proceeded to walk MILES AND MILES IN THEM. No break-in time at all! They do indeed run small, but ordering a size up would probably make them look even MORE clunky, and even though my toes do hang off the edge a bit, it doesn't bother me much. These look sort of dorky, but in kind of a charmingly retro way. I might affix some big ribbons or maribou poufs to them to make them look ironically and intentionally ridiculous. I'm keeping them.

Great fit! These shoes are so cute and I could wear them right out of the box. There was no breaking in period. They look nice with skirts and dresses and just as cute with jeans. They are a must buy. These shoes are a little expensive, but you get it right back in comfort. My feet are a little narrow, and this shoe has two adjustable straps to fit narrower and wider feet.

Retro & comfy! I love the funky retro look of these sandals! Great casual shoe to wear with jeans, not too fussy or dressy & really stable & comfortable.

I love these shoes - These shoes are the greatest. I was afraid they might look frumpy in person, but they are very stylish and sooo comfortable. No break in period required. I did have to get a size larger then normal, however. As other reviewers have noted, my big toes hung off the sides of the smaller size. Will probably buy more.

Comfortable shoes! These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn right out of the box! I bought the next larger size as suggested and they are perfect! I'll need to buy them in all colors!

I bought 3 colors! Love this shoe because of my problem feet - it offers support, comfort, and fashion. Each fit a bit differently - the black ones rubbed a bit on my pinky toes - so that's the 4 star reason. I can at least adjust the strap at the toe and that helps fix that. Dansko has shortened it sizes - so I had to go up from a 37 to 38.

I bought this shoe from Zappos because the store didn't have my size. It is a very comfortable shoe to walk in and wear at work all day, even if you stand up a lot. The shoes arrived sooner than the standard free shipping time stated. That was a plus!

Great Sandals - Extremely cute shoes! I was a little worried that they would look too orthopedic, but since I am recovering from a foot injury, I don't have much of a choice as far as cute footwear is concerned. Then after seeing someone try them on in a store, I decided to try them out myself. They are very comfortable with good arch support and the new lightweight sole is amazing. I also literally got them the day after ordering, so I am thrilled with Zappos shipping!
