Love, love, love this sandal! I have had this sandal in black for about a year, it is by far my favorite pair of shoes. The support is very similar to that of Dansko's regular clogs but the footbed is nice and soft. I wore them all last summer while I was VERY pregnant and had swollen feet and the adjustability was great. I think it was the only pair of shoes I wore while I was expecting and could still wear after since I could just tighten the straps after the swelling went down. I think they did rub in one or two places at first, but like most good shoes they just needed to be broken in a bit. Very cute, got compliments all the time. Nobody had any idea that they are Danskos! Let’s face it, the brand is heaven for your feet as far as comfort goes, but not exactly the most fashion forward shoes. No, these were adorable, went with dresses, pants, jeans, walking shorts... perfect shoe. Going to get them in one of the new colors for this year!

Great Shoe - This shoe fits great, is fashionable, is true to size, and well worth the money. I get so many compliments on all my Danskos. Ladies you can now have comfort and still have a great looking cute shoe. I would recommend this shoe to any woman.

My sister has these, and I had to have these! I really do like this sandal. There is just a little discomfort on the side of my big toe. I could not wear them to the mall all day, but I imagine I could at least grocery shop in them.

Comfort and Compliments all Day! I love these shoes; I've been waiting for them in brown! They are Danskos w/a slightly retro look. I've had the Sissys since last fall and have worn them a TON - whether standing & teaching all day or spending the day walking around town, my feet have yet to complain. (And, you should know, during this time my feet have been through a lot -including tendonitis- from training for a marathon). One word of caution - Unlike Dansko clogs they are cushiony - which I prefer!

Cute retro sandals - I just bought these shoes yesterday after several weeks of wondering whether I should because of the price. I wasn't sure about the look, but depending on what I'm wearing they look more retro which I love. They are really comfortable, no question, but I did buy size 39. I'm a true 38/7.5, but these shoes were almost too short in 38. My size 39's fit well if I buckle the toe straps one notch tighter than they came out of the box. They did rub a little after running my errands, but I think they'll break in really well. I have owned the clogs and the Monica sandals, both of which I pretty much wore out - although that took several years. I'm looking forward to enjoying these for several years - thanks, Dansko!

Comfy AND Stylish - After trying several Dansko sandals without a back strap and not being comfortable for my foot, I tried the Dansko Sissy (with a back strap) in black. These are great and won't be sent back! There was some minor irritation with my right big toe feeling a bit overstretched after wearing for awhile, but that feeling went away. Also, after a day of wearing these without nylons, there was black shoe polish residue on my feet where the straps were -- but it washed off easily with soap/water. I'm not sure if I'll like the suede-type/cloth as I anticipate that wearing out sooner than the rest of the sandal since these are a summer shoe and usually worn without socks/nylons. A plus on this type of sole is scuff marks will barely be noticeable. These looked great with my black capris and dressed up the look of other colors of capri pants/outfits.

Love Dansko Sissy Sandals - I find these sandals very, very comfortable, even for walking long periods. They fit very well - I bought a 39 and I normally wear an 8.5 in other shoes. Because of the reviews I read, I also bought a 40 for comparison, but it was clearly too big. My foot is probably a tad over a medium width, but not wide enough for a wide width. I like that I can use the two straps for a more custom fit. I have to agree with the other reviewers who complained about the footbed material: it wasn't Dansko's best choice, but it's not so terrible either. I've worn my black pair quite a bit and the heels are scuff-free. I waited too long to buy the brown pair, so I had to find them on another site! I can see how some people think the sandals look cute and hip and others think they look old lady-ish. They can kinda go either way. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Cute AND Comfortable - The price of the shoes initially put me off, but when I tried them on, they were immediately comfortable like a pair of slippers you'd wear to lounge in. Worth the price! My only complaint is the top part of the shoe tended to rub a bit on my feet, so at the end of the evening/day, my feet were a bit red on the top of the foot, but the soles of the shoes, utterly comfortable and worth that tiny bit of discomfort. Highly recommend.

Love these Danskos! I love these shoes. With the black leather straps blending into the black chunky sole you get a very stylish and comfortable platform shoe. They run true to size. I am a 42 and needed the 42 for foot length. The straps narrowed enough for my feet and really do look very feminine. My only complaint is the suede footbed. I would prefer a plain leather footbed as the suede absorbs too much moisture and in Florida even ladies sweat. :) Arches are great, fits more like a clog than a heel. I have high arches and they are a charm. I am on my feet most of the day at a hospital and they are very comfortable as well. Definitely keepers!

Cute, cool, comfortable Dansko - I'd become a diehard Professional wearer during the school year, and needed something comfortable and supportive for the summer. The Sissy seemed just right. I started with the 38, my usual size, (7.5) but my toes were hanging off the end. As usual, Zappos outdid themselves with their return policy. I got the 39's in two days and they fit perfectly in the length. I had to adjust the width by tightening the buckle over the toes to the last hole. (They are a little wide for my feet and normally I need a generous toe box so don't worry about width) I am wearing them at the moment, and find myself staring fondly at my feet. (Am I alone in this peculiarity among women?) You will love this sandal if you want style, value and comfort.

Great Shoes! This is the first pair of Dansko shoes that I have ever purchased and I love them. They are so comfortable. I would definitely recommend these shoes!!

My first pair of Dansko - I wanted an up to date, "sensible" shoe and I found it. From the minute I put them on they were comfortable, cushiony and stylish. I have received many complements on the style.

Lovely shoe - Well, it's true these shoes ran one whole size small. It's not even that they don't fit because they actually still fit, but your toes will hang off the edge. I wear a 9.5 and thought I'd play it safe and order a 40, but I had the toe problem! My friend saw them and tried them on (she wears an 8-8.5) and she kept them. The first pair was the poppy color, which I loved, but when I reordered they were not available in my "new size" so I got them in black. I work in retail and was able to wear them all day the first day I had them. Yesterday, I walked a couple miles in them. They are a bit loose around the ankle, I suspect from ordering up, but I still think they are worth every penny. I normally have knee problems with heels that are pitch a certain way. In these I have no aches or pains. I am thinking about buying the Poppy color if I see it again in my size.

The best walking sandal! I bought a pair of these after loving my Dansko closed-toe shoes and looking for a summer sandal. Like another reviewer mentioned, not all of the Dansko sandal foot beds are the same. These are most like the clogs that offer full arch support. I wore them all over Europe on vacation and they felt great on my finicky feet. I had to go up one size from my other Dansko shoes.

Wonderful with slacks or skirts - I wear a 7.5 or 8 and have a C width foot. I ordered the size 38 which fits perfectly and have the buckle on the 3rd from edge hole after a months wear. These are so comfortable. They are great for work during the summer in the Atlanta area. I have the brown. They are stylish and feminine enough not to feel frumpy and sturdy enough to feel confident. I tried to order the black, but they are not available in my size. Highly recommended.

Great fit, style and comfort!!! I was afraid these might be too "old lady looking" when I ordered them. But I was very pleased when they arrived and I have had so many compliments on these shoes. They are quite stylish for my work casual looks at the office or with shorts on weekends. This is not my first pair of Danskos but for comfort and support of my feet, I put these up there with my clogs. They fit well and are not too heavy for your knees either. I'm a runner and just can't wear traditional heels anymore. Finding sandals that look young and stylish for the summer has been a big problem. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone. They look great with just about everything. I also highly recommend the Dansko Sela. The wooden heel is so cute and it comes in many super cool colors.

The Sissy is an excellent choice for work in the summer time. I stand on my feet all day and these sandals give the needed support as well as the adjustment straps if my feet swell. I found all the parts to be comfortable---only wish they could improve on the ease of buckling by tapering the entry strap.

Fabulous shoe - I love this shoe! From the moment I put them on my feet, they felt really comfortable and what's even better is that they STILL felt comfortable after standing on my feet for several hours all day. (I am a teacher.) I think they look very stylish and I received several compliments on them the first day I wore them. I often have problems with my heels and this shoe gives me wonderful support and really cushions the heel. I also have bunions and the straps on this shoe don't bother them at all. I highly recommend this shoe.

Great shoe! This shoe is comfortable and great looking. It has great arch support and the heels do not scuff easily.

Comfort and looks! These sandals are perfect for office or play, and work with skirts and capris. They're super comfy and give you the feel of a higher heel with the comfort of a stable, supportive shoe. They're great for walking. They do seem to run just a bit smaller than marked. I ordered them in black and brown and I'm set for the summer!

Love my new Danskos! I was looking for a comfortable cute sandal that I could wear with almost everything this summer and these were a perfect choice. I put them on and they were perfect from the start with no wear in time at all. I even walked the Magnificent Mile in Chicago in comfort with them. Perfect! I am a 7.5 and ordered the 38. My feet are a bit narrow and are also almost flat, if that helps for comparison.

Love these shoes - If you like Dansko clogs, you'll love these sandals. Very comfortable and cute. The poppy color is fun and actually matches most of my clothes (except black).

My favorite sandals!!! These sandals were comfortable from the first second I put them on. I could wear them all day long right out of the box. The fabric lining is incredibly soft and comfortable. I'm tempted to order a second pair just because I don't want to wreck them from wearing them every single day all day long. I've walked home from work (4 miles) in them and didn't even feel it. This is an outstanding pair of shoes.

Like 'em! I have wide feet and these shoes fit well. I liked how they were adjustable, so that once they were broken in and stretched a bit, I could tighten them. The only thing that took a little bit to get used to is that your toes hang off a bit. It's not bad, it's just something I hadn't experienced before with a sandal.
