Love the Dansko Sissy! I've undergone multiple foot surgeries for running injuries, so it's been a challenge to find cute shoes with some height that I can wear all day without pain. I bought a pair of these sandals last summer and was so impressed I've since bought three additional pairs.

These sandals are very comfortable; no break-in necessary. Leather was supple enough that did not chafe on first use. The style is retro-inspired rather than looking really like 50s shoes. Quite pretty in the black patent. Very light in weight, making it comfortable for all-day wear at work and long walks after. Also, I’ve stood in these for about an hour-and-a-half watching my child’s t-ball game, and my feet did not feel sore. Look tall in comfort, that’s the best part.

This is a great sandal! They DO run short -- I wear a 5.5 and always wear a 36 in Danskos, but I had to send them back and get the 37 instead. I got the metallic red, and they're a great combo of kind of dorky-cute and really comfortable. Very cute with red nail polish, and comfortable enough to walk all day in. I highly recommend these, and think you can definitely make them look chic with a kind of retro-boho look!

These have to be one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own, even after walking in them for many hours. I may have to buy them in another color!

I've always loved Dansko, but let's face it--the style leans a little toward the "Bride of Frankenstein" end of the shoe spectrum. So I'm glad to see that Dansko is aiming for a more feminine appearance, at least with their sandals. These sandals are SO cute and comfortable. I wear a 39 in Dansko clogs and ordered the same size, and they fit perfectly. What else can I say? My feet are always happy in Danskos.

I love these sandals. They are really cute in person (I ordered the red patent- very darling). These are my first Danskos- I have tried their other sandals and clogs and had a hard time with fit- my ankles were apparently too big for the other sandal styles I tried and my instep was too high to squeeze into other Danskos as well. Frustrating. But since these are adjustable on the top and at the ankle they are perfect. Like walking around on leathery pillows. Great support. Can walk all day in the city no problem. Get lots of compliments. I wear a 6.5 to 7 and the 7s are perfect. Oh, and YAY ZAPPOS.

I have metatarsalgia because of high arches and these shoes are the only ones I've found recently (aside from my orthotics in my expensive sneakers) that don't hurt my feet. I love them! Style wise, they are a little clunky, especially when you wear a dress. I really can't wear them with very fancy professional clothes like a suit, but for every other day, they are my shoes of choice.

AWESOME! I will most def. buy Danskos again. I wore these shoes all over Italy- comfortable, - practically energizing shoes!

THESE ARE THE ONLY SHOES I WEAR... for work, and for more formal play. In fact, this is the fourth pair of Dansko "Sissy" that I’ve bought over the last year. I’m a pronator, on the left have arthritis in one of my toes, and a poorly healed broken sesamoid bone - these are the only shoes I CAN wear and I love them. I especially like my new red crinkle patent pair. They’re the best.

These are great sandals, just as everyone else said. I wear a 12, and the size 43 was a little shorter than expected, but since I can't go up in size, I'm making them work. The arch support and cushioning are excellent. I wear them to work all day and don't even feel the urge to take them off at the end of the work day.

These sandals are wonderful! I know they are a little pricey but they are well worth the money. I own two other pairs of Dansko shoes that I wear at work and they are very comfortable. I am on my feet all day long and these shoes let me make it through the day. Plus I have big feet and these sandals actually make them look smaller. Not many brands go up to an 11.5 - 12.0. Love them, love them, love them.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable right from the get-go. I typically wear a size 12 shoe, but have found that I need to wear a 43 in Dansko sizes, and am limited to the styles that are in that size. These fit great, plus you can adjust the width if necessary. They give me a little bit more height than I am used to, but I like it. I think they have a great look too.

Incredibly comfortable shoes! They are the best of Dansko and very cute. I wear them with skirts or jeans on steep cobblestone streets and all across Paris as a tourist and they are wonderful. They give you quite a lift without an uncomfortable heel. The only problem I had is that the size seems to run small. I am usually an 8.5 or 9 in womens shoes, so I ordered a 39 but my toes stuck over the end of the shoes and I had to send them back for a 40.

If you haven't tried Dansko's before, you'll be glad that you did now. They offer great comfort and all day wearability. And now with the cuter and more sophisticated styles, like these Sissy's and their Addison's, you'll soon fill up your closet with Dansko's like I have. These Sissy's offer medium arch support and width. If you're looking for a higher arch, try the Addison's. The buckles on these Sissy's let you adjust the width to suit your feet. And I've always loved the way the contour of the sole "walks you along" more gracefully than other clogs, which have a more plodding feel.

They are really cute and seemed really comfortable at first. After wearing them for a few hours though, I have huge blisters on both sides of my feet- I will keep wearing them and hope for the best. Like most people said, they run a bit small and I wish I had gotten a larger size. But I get lots of compliments- even from men. One said, "Those shoes are hot" and he is hard to please.

I bought these shoes because I broke my toe and we were about to leave for a weekend away that involved a lot of walking. I have to say they were two little angels on my feet. I could barely walk barefoot, but it was almost pain free in these shoes. They are much bulkier than I usually wear, but cute in a retro clunky vibe. They really saved me and know my foot is almost healed, I am still wearing them, surprising even myself.

After reading reviews I ordered these shoes one size larger than my other Danskos. They are a perfect fit. They are also very comfortable; I walked hours on vacation with them with no problems. They also are very cute; I get many compliments on how great they look. Zappos has great service!

I am a big fan of Dansko sandals and admired these shoes for months before buying them. At long last I ordered them and I absolutely love them! I wear sandals to work all the time when weather permits and these sandals are a bit dressier than others in their style. I was very impressed by how comfortable they were when I first tried them. For the style, comfort and brand, these are a great pair of shoes and the Dansko brand is great quality. No buyer’s remorse tied to this purchase! I would highly recommend this pair of sandals.

Super, super comfortable sandal to wear with skirts or pants. The footbed feels so soft and silky! Can walk all day in these. Would have liked something a tad bit dressier to wear to work and still have the arch support, but these are acceptable. I have some Papillio sandals that are just perfect in style and comfort, but they are discontinued and now all they make is super casual flat sandals. Dansko, or anybody, please make cute shoes every season for those of us with plantar fasciitis and other challenges who need to dress up every day for work!

I have many pair of Danskos and I have to say these are the most comfortable ones yet... like walking on air. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size up and they are perfect. Right out of the box I wore them all day without a single issue. I was so impressed that I bought them in white as well. I highly recommend this shoe.

Love this sandal. I bought them for my teenager in white. The size 37 is a perfect fit for her. Turns out, it’s a perfect fit for me, too! Since she wasn’t going to give up hers, I bought a second pair. The Dansko styling is obvious. The platform is a nice height and well shaped for comfortable walking. The footbed is covered with a suede-like material that is soft and absorbent. No sweaty sandal feet her! The crinkle patent leather dresses this sandal up some. All in all, Sissy is a good choice for work or play. It isn’t quite dressy enough for a really uppity social occasion, but it probably covers 90% of my sandal wear. The platform looks like it is carved from wood, with a nice grain to it. It is actually some type of man-made material that is far better comfort-wise. I love these shoes! I work retail, and I am on my feet all day. Danskos are the only brand that I can wear all day. Plus the Sissy sandal is cute enough to wear out in the evening.

I enjoy my Dansko sandals. They were immediately comfortable; there was no "breaking in" period. Because I have rheumatoid arthritis, which affects my feet, the fact that the sandals provide good support is very important, and they are cute, too. I ordered my shoes and received them within two days, faster than Zappos promised.
