These sandals are amazingly comfortable. They seem to fit my foot perfectly. Even though they are somewhat clunky, with the classic Dansko wedge, they are very lightweight. I agree that they seem to run a bit small, so I ordered a half size up and the fit is perfect. I got the celery, which is actually kind of a green-taupe color, and I really like it. They don't come in a true taupe, their light color is more of an off-white, which I don't care for. I will say that I have tried to order Dansko summer sandals in several different styles, and they are maddeningly difficult to find in my size (a medium, popular size) and preferred color, especially later in the season. It turns out that I love the Sissy, but there were other styles (Lolita, e.g.) that I simply gave up trying to get in taupe.

Though these shoes are not perhaps the most stylish of shoes, they really are comfortable. I am able to wear them all day long, walking cross-campus and can still have feet at the end of the day. My lower back issues don't seem to be an issue with these shoes. The only real issue was the first time I wore the shoes, the baby toe got a small blister, but I was doing a lot of walking that day, and after the break in, they were just fine.

I adore these shoes. I have lots of trouble with my feet; sometimes I have to change shoes a couple of times a day. These, however, are fabulous. I walked all over NYC wearing them for hours and my feet were not tired by the end of the day. I could keep going. Plus, I love how fast and efficient Zappos is to work with, great company. I know this sounds like a commercial, but I have never written a review before. I couldn't resist in this case.

I love these shoes. I bought the first pair and after about months the left shoe's stitching came loose. I contacted Zappos and they sent my replacement before I even returned the "broken" shoes. These shoes are doing great and I think the first pair were defective. Comfortable and cute, I get lots of compliments. I love Dansko shoes.

I recently took these shoes with me on a sightseeing trip to London and probably walked 50 miles in them in one week. They were great! Better than any other tennis or running shoe that I've worn for the same purpose and all while looking quite stylish. I have weird feet; they are wide at the front and narrow at the back. The construction of the Sissy allows for an adjustment of the width and subsequently for me, is the most comfortable shoe ever. I wear Dansko clogs at work, and now do not care to wear any other type of shoe. I have the white and black and plan to order the sand and brown as well. Well worth the money.

Love these shoes. This is the second pair I have gotten. I have a pair in celery and they are so comfortable I bought them in black. They look good with everything and are so comfortable it feels like I am walking on air.

These are great! Wore them all day right out of the box; they feel very stable on my size 12 feet. They are much cuter on that you might think, very feminine. Dress up or down, very versatile. Dansko does it again.

Love these. Have them in "celery." Very comfortable to walk in, nice height from the heels, and feel feminine when I wear them - not clunky.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I love them so much, I ordered another pair in a different color less than a week after buying the first pair. I have the "black pull-up" and "celery burnished veg".I have wide, flat feet and have undergone bunionectomy and osteotomy surgeries. Shoes that are both pretty and comfortable are almost impossible for me to find. I rarely find footwear that makes me feel feminine. Some reviewers with normal feet complained that this sandal was too short for them. Their toes hung over the edge. Since my feet are so wide, shoes that fit my width are normally too long. So I agree that this sandal may be a little short; however, that is a beneficial aspect for me. Some people complained that the foot bed smells. I have not found that to be an issue. The foot bed is comfortable and I haven't noticed any discoloration or odor since purchasing the shoes 2-3 months ago. I've been wearing them almost every day. I usually wear a US women's 8 or 8.5. I ordered the Sissy in a 39 and it fit perfectly.

Very comfortable with great support. True to size. The design in front hurt my toes in the beginning, but after a week or two they feel like a second skin.

By far the most comfortable shoes I own now! I am on my feet all day long (Cosmetology student) and the only thing that doesn't hurt at the end of the day is my feet. My feet are a little on the narrow side, which is why I got the shoe with the buckle. Good thing that I did because they were a little wide for me around the toe area. Buckled them one tighter and they're perfect. They are not the cutest shoes I have, but they'll do considering how comfortable they are!

I love these sandals. I'm typically between a 6 1/2 and a 7 (closer to 7), and I bought a 7 and they're perfect. I can't believe how comfortable and supportive they are. I end up running around a lot for my job. And they're very cute. I get a lot of compliments. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be buying more Danskos in the future.

These are by far the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. I have major foot issues and when I wear these shoes, I do not want to take them off. I had foot surgery last fall and since then it has been difficult to find cute shoes that do not cause discomfort. The straps do stretch a little bit so I feel I could have gone a half size smaller. Well worth the money!

I ave had nothing but outstanding service from Zappos. I have been very satisfied with everything I have ordered. For example, I ordered something late night and it was at my door the very next afternoon! I love this company they provide high quality and excellent service.

I bought these shoes actually for my 21 year old daughter. Let me first say I love Zappos because my daughter has very small feet (size 5), and shoe shopping with her is really difficult because of her small feet. Zappos always has a huge selection in her size. She also has never found a comfortable pair of shoes other than her running shoes. So you can only imagine her excitement when she put on her first pair of Dansko shoes (Dansko Sissy) and couldn't believe how comfortable they are. Even after spending a entire day wearing them she still couldn't get over the comfort of them. She is now in the process of ordering other colors. So when my incredibly picky daughter says these are the most comfortable shoes (other than her running shoes) she has ever worn, you have to know these are great shoes. I'm ordering a pair for myself now, too.

Love these sandals! I usually wear a 39, but got a 40 instead, they fit perfect. These sandals are super comfy, offer great support & are fashionable. My feet started giving me problems due to wearing 5" heels, but these sandals came to my rescue. Love these for every day wear. I've saved my stilettos for special occasions now.

I read the reviews on this site to help me decide on the shoe and I love them. The footbed is very comfortable and I did follow the recommendations of other reviewers and went up the half size. I bought the celery color and find them very versatile. I did get blisters from the straps on the tops of both of my feet and my pinky toes, but virtually every shoe I have ever owned does (except my Keen shoes) so I was prepared and had some mole skin ready to go.

I love these shoes! I bought them initially because I was having problems with my feet and I have to stand at trade shows for hours at a time. I bought 3 more pairs of Danskos because I fell in love with how they feel on your feet and how comfortable they are even after a full day of standing and walking. I'm a solid 9, but because of other reviews I bought the 9.5/10. Smart move because they would have been too short otherwise. Buy these shoes, they're great!

Love these shoes! With me being a hair stylist, I am standing on my feet 24/7. Not only are these shoes totally comfortable, but they look very stylish. I get a ton of compliments on them and when I tell people that they're "feel good" shoes, they are shocked! I recommend them a hundred times over!

I love these shoes. Dansko makes great shoes: stylish, comfortable, sturdy, long-lived. These shoes are cute enough for work, but also comfortable and casual for shopping, walking or a night out. I have high arches and large feet, so I was happy that the buckles over the top of the foot are adjustable. Often shoes are tight in that area, but these were perfect. Highly recommended!

What a FAB shoe! I wore these out of the box, through the airport, onto the plane, and all over Paris. Best thing I've ever had on my feet. I saw a women at Versailles wearing the same shoe, and another woman in Paris wearing them! The only concern is sizing; somehow Dansko has gone weird with their sizes. I've always worn 39s and I had to get a 40. So order more than one size to be safe, and return what doesn't fit. Bon Voyage!

I wore these all over Scotland and Ireland when I didn't need rough terrain shoes, and am still wearing them to work now that vacation is over. Very comfortable right out of the box, but a little hard on the heels after an entire day of walking, unless I reminded myself throughout the day to shift more weight onto the balls of my feet. The cushioned soles are like clouds, and fantastic for absorbing sweat without staining. I really like these. I will definitely be back for more Danskos.

This is a fantastic shoe. I have a narrow foot, so sometimes Danskos fit a little strange, but this sandal is adjustable at both the heel and the toe so it's easy to get a perfect fit. It's more stylish than you'd expect from Dansko. The material on the footbed is really comfy, although it doesn't keep your feet "odor-free"... Overall, a great summer shoe.
