My husband can wear a 4E and these definitely are not. These are very narrow shoes. Also, these shoes are stained on the side and look like they have been worn as if scuffed.

I ordered a size too big. My mistake.

This is a great shoe, so much so that I purchased a second pair in a different color. Now the BAD news. The laces CANNOT be changed if you break or damage them. I recently got one caught on my bike sprocket and ripped it in half. I then picked up a set of leather laces with the metal guide to thread them around the shoe, however as hard as I pulled I could not get the old laces out. Did some online research and discovered a lot of very upset owners of this shoe. Turns out the laces are tightly sewn in at the heel and are not meant to be removed. MADE IN CHINA.....

This is the most comfortable boat shoe I've ever worn... but I didn't pay attention to the reviews that question the overall quality of these shoes. I purchased them anyway and enjoyed their comfortable fit for all of a week. The 3rd time I wore them, the stitching on top of the shoe started to unravel leaving about a 1 inch opening. I figured that if after a week they were falling apart, I should send them back and get something else. It's a shame, they're really comfortable.

I have been wearing Dunham shoes for years and these do not fit as stated size.

These are cheap, poorly made imitations of Sperry and for more money. Color, leather, even the shoelaces were below acceptable standard.

This shoe was horrible stiff , no room in the toe box my feet hurt hours after work just a waste of money advertised as 4E but felt narrow gave me heel spurs This is the worst brand of shoes if you have wide feet of any kind

Liked the style but somehow did not feel comfortable on my feet. I bought a Dunham hiking boots of about the same size and somehow this boat shoes seem smaller and slimmer.

This would have been my 4th pair of these but Dunham has changed the fit so I had to return.

I normally wear a New Balance 9.5 4E and thought that these shoes would fit in a 9.5 4E as well since Dunham is owned by New Balance. Well the fit wasn't even close, I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe. So I returned them and tried to upsize to a size 10 6E and I swear the 6E and 4E on this shoe are identical, still couldn't get my foot in and had to return those as well. If you wear 4E or 6E from New Balance these shoes doesn't even compare and run much more narrow. The main problem is that there is zero flexibility across the top front part of the shoe, it's just a solid, rigid piece of leather, so if you have big, wide feet these shoes probably aren't for you. If you're like me and need a good water shoe but have wide feet and can't find anything wide enough, look up "Drew Shoe Men's Hamilton Leather", they come up to 6E and have enough adjust-ability and flexibility to fit almost any foot.

Poor quality. leather is wrinkled.

I've been a real fan of the Dunham boat shoes for years. I have purchased a pair most every year for the past 5 or 6 years. In the past, the 11B size fit perfectly. This latest pair does not fit - somehow the arch is moved forward and is just not comfortable. I'll try another pair, hoping that it is an isolated issue....

I purchased this shoe in August in a desperate attempt to find a narrow shoe I have spent time trying to wear this shoe. The trouble with this shoe is the frontal area is a true b width and the heel area is evidently a d with, plus the insole of the shoe is poorly constructed causing severe pain after wearing for a few hours. I would hope Zappoes will drop this shoe from it's brands to carry. I have dealt with Zappoes for many years and this has been my worst experience.

I have had this shoes for a little less than a month. Great looking. Good cushioning. BIG PROBLEM: Stabilizing cradle in the heel makes the upper part of the shoe at the level of the Achilles tendon rub laterally with each step creating a blister and bleeding. You strike the ground with the external part of your heel, this shoe is not for you because of the cradle.

11-6E is more like 11-E, way to narrow. Not even close, cannot get my toes in. No indicator on shoes what size.

This was a reorder of the same type and size shoe as I purchased before, However it is very tight on width. I would like to return them for a wider size!
