insole appears to be of poor quality and will not last.

Very comfortable, even without socks. Looks summery. Dunham's 4E are one of the few shoes that are is great for wide feet and fits true to size. Even Sperry XW (3E) not wide enough.

I've ordered from Zappo's several times, and always enjoyed the experience. The service is amazing, they keep their promises, and the customer service people I've spoken with are helpful and friendly. I will never go anywhere else for my shoe needs.

Quality show at a reasonable price!! For me the availability in narrow widths was the deal clincher. Great fit and look. And the Zappo's service - unbeatable as usual... :-)

Great shoe, I had to stop wearing deck shoes for fit issues 7 years ago. Finally found one that works, already ordered another pair. Hooray!

The promptness with which my order was shipped was amazing, but what really took my breath away was the absolutely outstanding and rapid customer service I got when after the product arrived and I needed to straighten some issues out. I will never shop anywhere else for footwear!

Well built shoe, finished well with no loose seams. I would prefer more padding in the heel area, as had my previous shoe, but the previous shoe did not have the workmanship.

This is a very comfortable good looking casual shoe. I purchased the shoe to wear with shorts. The shoes are comfortable with or without socks. My wife wanted me to get the same shoe in other colors. I've purchased Dunham shoes for years and they continue to be great.

My hubby has a large, wide foot. I thought boat shoes were out of the question, until I found these Dunham Captain's in a 12 4E. He put them on, and I don't think he has taken off since. Looks great without socks, with pants or shorts. He said they feel really good. He is starting his home inspection business, so they will look more professional than a tennis shoe, yet will be a nice safe, non slip shoe to wear inspecting. This gets him ready to being to being able to spend some time in the boat too!

Great looking show and true to Dunham form they are well built and will last. Arch support is average. I have flat feet so I always replace the default arch supports.

I wear a AA width. I am able to tighten this shoe enough so that it fits well. Very comfortable from the first day of wearing. Can wear it all day with no break in time.

Dunham has become my go-to shoe, based mostly on the fact that their basic last fits me so well. I have a wide foot, and have suffered down the years with too-tight shoes. I take a 4E, and have jumped down from an 11 to a 10.5; I think the extra width reduces the size some. In any event, I'm really happy with these, and will stick with Dunham.

My new shoes fit so I am going to wear them. The level of service I received from Zappos was fantastic, I had my shoes within 5 days of placing the order and they were exactly what I ordered, can't ask for anything more.

Living in Florida, I wear boat shoes all year long. The Dunham Captains fit true to size, are extremely comfortable, and provide good traction on wet surfaces. I am on my feet all day, and they are as comfortable at the end of the day as when I first put them on. I would definitely recommend these shoes if you are looking for a stylish, comfortable boat shoe. I have them in several colors, and wouldn't trade them for any other boat shoe. And of course, buying from Zappos guarantees you a great transaction every time!

Very comfortable.Good cushioning. GREAT ventilation. Model I received it does NOT have the draining channels claimed in the description and shown in the photos. It is shame. I imagine those shoes would have more cushioning. I still love them. Zappos is the BEST. I don't buy anywhere else online.

Very true to size, fit great, wore them the first time for a 2 mile walk with no issues. Hope the soles last longer than three months, time will tell.

These shoes, like the pair of Dunham Windwards, that I have been wearing for the last 6 months, are extremely comfortable! They, and the Windwards, are the shoes that I wear for every occasion other than business meetings.

Ever since my first pair of boat shoes years ago I've been reluctant to buy another pair because of the lack of cushioning, but these shoes are very comfortable. They fit my narrow feet very well and continue to look great 8 months after I purchased them.

My husband put these on right out of the box and will not take them off. He usually has to use a shoe insert (13-6E), but he is very comfortable with these. This is the first deck shoe he has ever had fit him. Love the Dunham's, and love Zappos!

I was looking for summer shoes that look good and are very comfortable. These are it! They provide good arch support, excellent if you are an over pronator and are great for walking. They are roomy which I like, if you like a tight fit you may want to go down a half size.

Zappos did what the said they would, can't ask for more. I have ordered several pairs of Dunham shoes, never disappointed.

FINALLY! I have discovered a sourse of size 6E shoes for my husband and he can walk in comfort for the first time in years. These are well constructed and wonderfully comfortable shoes. Worth every penny. Thank you Zappos for your excellent selection and buyer friendly shipping policies. Could not be happier. He has a high arch, size 10.5 which he ordered, of course very wide foot, and these were perfect fit. Before Zappos he has been trying to wear 4E which we thought was maximum width available and was always in pain.

I wore this pair of Dunham Captain boat shoes for the first time yesterday. My feet are wide, thin, bony, with a narrow calcaneus. No natural cushioning with my feet! Finding shoes that actually fit and are comfortable can be difficult. I took a chance on these. Perfect fit right out of the box. No need to break in. Stable, great cushioning. I expect to purchase these again! I ordered 11½W, but I could have got away with 11W.
