These are very nice looking shoes. My husband has a hard fit because he has big feet (size 14) with narrow heels. He has always purchased Sperry and put up with a bit of "sloppiness" in the heel. But these are a perfect fit! Comfortable right out of the box. He doesn't get too excited about shoes...but loves these!

i ordered the Dunham Captain in tan. The shoe I received was more of a grey tan than the tan pictured on the website. I easily exchanged it for a brown Dunham Shoreline. Many thanks to my Zappos phone rep who facilitated the exchange.

Great shoe, but this color of brown is more of a cordovan (reddish) color. Ordered it in tan and very pleased.

Generous order/return plan by Zappos lets the customer to try several sizes. This is a fine, supportive shoe, just needed a smaller size.

Not sure of size so ordered 17 in Navy. I am on the back order list for a size 16 in this shoe. Well made and very comfortable. Love Zappos generous order/return policy.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes for the style. Many boat shoes I have tried on have felt rather lacking in the support and footbed, but the Dunham Captain shoes are amazing. They were my only shoe I took on a recent trip to a big city, and they were comfortable during a day of over 5 miles of walking (and 18 flights of stairs) through museums and attractions. The only knock on style is that they are quite shiny initially, which seems a bit out of place for the casual style. The shine has faded some over the past couple weeks however. Highly recommended as a boat shoe/casual shoe for someone who still wants great support and a sturdy sole/footbed.

I tried 4 or 5 other less expensive boat shoes but these fit perfectly and much better out of the box. I have a narrow foot and the B width was just right. Both length and fit are true to size. Extremely comfortable with virtually no break-in period. The quality and class and comfort are definitely worth a few extra $$.

Both the fit and size are true as described in the entry. Thank goodness! as I've had great difficulty in the past trying to find boat shoes that fit my (overlong) feet. Too, the staff combines engaging, friendly conversation with useful help and suggestions

Its difficult to find shoes of any style that are wide enough. These are pricey but really excellent fit for people with wide ones!

I have a odd size foot. 12 EE. I wanted this shoe and could not find the right size until I went to Zappos. The price was similar to the mfr price online and they didn't even have this size. The right product at a fair price with quick service. Wish everyone did that!

After 3 weeks, I can say these are the most comfortable shoes I own. Great that the insole is removable, so it can be replaced with my orthotics.

Incredibly lightweight with a large toebox that lets me wiggle them around. Worn for about a week now, construction seems very good. Soles don't provide a lot of shock absorption, you may need some insoles to help. I'm a large fella, so might just be folks of similar mass.

These shoes are amazing!!! I have two in every color. Fit is great and very comfortable with or without socks.

Bought these along with the brown version to compare. Kept these as I liked the color, style and fit. The brown version of these have a bit of an "old man" vibe that these don't. Wasn't sure if I was just crazy, but my wife agreed. Maybe we're both crazy :)
