I ordered these because I have arthritis in my feet and it is painful to wear most shoes. I also have a high arch, Extra wide feet and my feet are thick. These shoes fit my hard to fit feet and are very comfortable they support my very high arches. As an added bonus my knees do not hurt when I wear these (I have very bad knees that always hurt,)not sure if it is the arch support or just the design of the shoe. Needless to say I am very pleased with these shoes and they are worth every penny. I ordered a 37 and I usually order 38's (size 7-7 1/2)

Love these sandals so much I also have them in black. I live in them all summer long. They are comfortable and great for all the walking I do. Can't say enough good things about them. I normally wear a 38 in Finn's. This sandal I had to go down a size to 37. Exchange was easy with Zappos.

I know that it is crazy to spend this kind of money on a pair of shoes. But I am here to tell you that they work. I wear them around the house because hardwood floors are the worst for plantar fasciitis. All straps are adjustable, too.

Much better than normal "good arch support" For those who need real arch support, the Zappos "rocker style shoes provide a full step up in arch support.

I love this shoe, but because of mobility problems, I cannot use a rocker sole.

Wear it with medical grade orthotic. Very comfortable.

These are some serious shoes! I like that the insoles can be swapped for specially made orthodics, something you don't usually find in a sandal. That it also has a back, something else not common in sandals, gives extra support. And all the straps are adjustable. Plus, these are available in the hard-to-find narrow width.

Sloppy package, no lid for the shoe box, obviously worn before, bad smell

Wearing this same sandal from Finn Comfort for 10 years. Excellent if you have high arches and need support. I replace the foot beds annually, and the sandals last about 7 years.

This is my second pair of these wonderful sandals. They last for years and provide excellent arch support. They are an indispensable part of my wardrobe.

I'm in the process of returning these because they do seem to run large. I usually wear a 40 in Finn Comforts, but this one felt a full size larger. Fingers-crossed that the 39 will fit perfectly because I love this style. They have a more youthful look than many of the Finns, which is a refreshing change.

I love the shoes but the toe box (weird for a saddle - but that top strappy part) is a bit wide (and I have wide feet and bunions) and the Velcro strap really doesn't seem to tighten anymore than what it's set at when they come in the box. So when I was hiking not on a flat service my foot would slide out of them. So not hiking shoes. But great for around town generally and cute. Got several compliments.

Love!!! Comfortable from the start, fabulous support all around. My only complaint is the straps were a little stiff on the edges where they touch your foot, but that softened quickly. Wore on a trip to Europe and had no discomfort.

I am so glad that Finn makes this sandal with the closed in heel because it's the only shoe that I can wear due to serious foot problems including painful nerve damage, paralysis in one leg, deformed bones due to arthritis. I dont care what the color, I'd order these shoes. Yes, they are wide on me but I have very narrow feet so any shoe is going to be wide. I wear them with multiple pairs of socks. The front strap could be longer but the back strap is fine. I dont care. I'd still order them. Yes, I have to buy/use/create my own orthotic. I dont care. I'd still order them. Yes, they are expensive. However, I use to pay over $800.00 for a pair of custom molded shoes. They are the only shoe that I can and do wear if I want to be able to walk so I would still order them. They have been a life saver for me. I even wear them with wool handmade socks in the winter and I live in NJ!

The Finn Comfort Samara is extremely comfortable. I stand taller; my back does not get tired; my legs are less fatigued throughout the day. I normally wear a 41 Finnamic shoe, and the 41 fits perfectly in the Samara. The straps allow for custom fitting to each foot. After multiple surgeries on both feet, Finnamic shoes are the ones that get me through the day pain-free and without changing shoes multiple times. The quality of construction is extraordinary, and while expensive, the shoes simply never wear out. My first Finns were purchased 16 years ago when, while on a business trip, I hobbled into a shoe store in pain, and the lady said the only shoe she could recommend would be a Finn Comfort. I had never paid as much for a shoe in my life, but I walked across the store and out the door pain free. I always have to talk myself into paying this much for a shoe, but I'm never disappointed with Finnamic by Finn Comfort, and I'm thankful for the customer care and speedy service provided by Zappos.

Perfect fit and all day comfort. A shoe to live in but then again Finn Comfort is the best for my feet. Rather have a few good pair which are worth the money than a fleet of cheap cuties which one can wear only a few hours at a time.

These are the best sandals ever. I basically lived in this style sandal last summer. They still look almost new, tread is still in great shape. My high arches are very well supported. I tried on other brands, if I could find them, in European 43 but I never could match the support or comfort. If shoes do not feel right I will not buy them. None of this breaking it in myth for me. I tried to buy Finn in Germany last summer but the large sizes had already sold out by May. I just ordered another pair from Zappos while my size is still available. I am so shoe poor compared to my friends but at least my few pairs are comfortable and supportive.

These are very comfortable sandals with excellent arch support. The slight rocker bottom may bother some, but I found it a wonderful change from flatter sandals. Highly recommended, though a little expensive.

I purchased these for my son, the world's pickiest person when it comes to comfort, support and perfect fit. If his shoes don't support his feet perfectly, he won't wear them. Well, he chose these shoes when he was a high school freshman and has worn them every day for more than 3 years. They're just beginning to come apart. I feel this investment has paid off. I'm ordering a new pair for his senior year. With luck they'll last through college.
