Classic through and through - These shoes are stunning in their looks and construction and attn. to detail. They fit even better than I had expected, not even any break in needed. This is my 2nd pair in about 10 years, they really can last that long. Highly recommended and they are very versatile as well. Jeans to suits... give 'em a try.

I finally gave up an old pair of Cole Haan's for this model and am very satisfied with all aspects of the shoe, especially the price. For about $70 less than a similar Cole Haan I got a good, well fitting shoe. Good deal.

Layton is very comfortable, beautifully constructed shoe - I bought these shoes for my husband who will only wear Bass shoes. He loves them and every time he puts them on he comments on how comfortable they are. One can never go wrong with Bass. Zappos is outstanding - the most amazing service I have ever encountered. I ordered these shoes along with 2 other pair early one evening and they were here the next day. I will continue to use Zappos forever. Thanks guys (and gals)!

Great shoes - I bought these shoes for their look. They are truly comfortable and the tassels pull the look together. I have worn these shoes to my son's graduation and to my daughters wedding and they felt comfortable all throughout the event.

Look great, a bit stiff - Love the classic Weejuns look. Knew they are a little stiff, but expect they will soften up and become more comfortable with wear. Free delivery was prompt and a hoot to track as the package. Overall deal is five stars.

Bass Shoes - I have a wide foot, and can only buy certain brands. Bass is always true to fit, and the crew at Zappos is better than any trip to any retail store! It’s easier to order a pair of shoes from them than to go buy them myself!

Overall a stylish shoe, felt a bit bigger than I anticipated. I installed shoe inserts; that fixed part of the problem.

It is a good looking shoe with a good gloss to it. It is a nice casual dress shoe. The beware part is size; they have measurements of their very own. If the shoe fits wear it.

Shoes fit well and true to size. The shoes, however, were a bit too reddish-purple for a traditional classic burgundy look. Looks more like a purple shoe than burgundy or oxblood. Color was not true to the look online and a full shade or two lighter.

Good Quality, a bit loose - I like the looks, and quality of these shoes, should last a long time. The only downside is they are a little loose in the heel.

Have this shoe in black and very happy with it, but this shoe looks like plastic instead of leather. Ordered half size larger thinking it would be a better fit. Felt at least half size larger than marked.

Very disappointed with this shoe. I've worn Bass for 30 years and have been pleased. Guess it was about time for a lemon, and this one was it. Both shoes' stiching has come apart and the repair for one shoe is about half the price of a new pair.

I am very pleased with this shoe. It looks great and fits well. But I am most impressed with Zappo's. They have an excellent customer relations department. You never have a problem if you have to return something. They handle everything very promptly and courteously.

A style that never goes out. These are my go to semi-casual shoe for jeans or slacks. They are nice enough to wear with a suit too.

These Layton Kiltie Tassel are very good looking and comfortable shoes. I should admit that I wear such types of shoes since thirty years and therefore I am semi-professional in this area. I wish they had it in brown color but they don't. I can live with burgundy although my previous shoes were burgundy too (boring) but comfortable shoes go over "more beautiful" shoes. :-)

The shoes are great. I believe they are sized a bit big. I usually wear a 10 but that was too large. Went to a size 9 and they fit just fine. I had to return my original order. The customer service was fantastic. I called, they shipped a smaller size, I returned the original, all perfectly seamless. Great job by the customer service folks.

The shoes are very nice, good quality and comfortable. I like the leather soles, and the size was as expected. In the past I'd search from store to store wasting a fair amount of time, great to find them online!
