I ordered a pair of Bass loafers from Zappos, in my regular size. When I received them, they were marked correctly, but they were too small! After a short but very pleasant conversation with the customer service department, I sent the shoes back, and was sent another pair, but in one size smaller (I wear a size 14, but the Bass fit perfectly, in a size 13). All of the shipping, and handling was taken care of by Zappos, and dealing with them was out of this world, super nice, very friendly, and most helpful. I will buy all of my shoes henceforth from these folks; they definitely know how to treat a customer, a rare commodity these days for sure! Great job, Zappos!

These are a classic style. They are very well made and sold at a fair price. They also last a long time. I had a very good pair that I had had for more than 10 years but a puppy named Seal Team Six ate one. You will not go wrong with these shoes.

The Bass Layton is a wonderful, comfortable shoe. It is a solid wear for all season and it wears well with or with out socks. You can't lose with this old fashioned shoe. I personally keep three (3) pairs around.

First of all, Zappos once again amazed me with outstanding service... perhaps the best on-line service and delivery anywhere. This shoe looks great and can be worn with a pair of khakis or with a suit. This shoe does feel a bit wider than other similar shoes I have worn. I would also caution that the bottoms are very slick straight out of the box.
