Race walker -
I haven't worn them much, but the minute I slipped them on they were comfortable. I knew they'd work out great for me.

Teva -
Nice comfort shoe for house or light walking. Would not wear for long walks for exercise, but fine for about town, shopping, etc. Would have liked to see this shoe all one color.

Great shoe, but way too big!
I love this shoe, but I should have listened to the other reviewers and ordered a half size smaller than I normally do. I am a size 10 in every shoe, and these 10s felt like a size 12! I am going to try a 9 1/2 but might even have to do a 9. They are worth it though... I have a feeling I will be living in them this summer.

Super cute and practical -
I bought these as an alternative to your typical Teva or Keen water sandal with toe protection. They are so much cuter and more feminine than the other options! So far, I haven't worn them much, but I bought them for a trip to Maui in a few weeks. Only thing I'm worried about is that they aren't specifically made to be immersed in water, so we'll see how that goes. I bought a 7.5 for a size 8 foot and they fit perfectly.

Very cute -
Really cute shoe, comfortable, got a lot of positive remarks from friends/coworkers the first time they saw them. Only drawback to these is that if you're a normal human being with sweat glands in her feet, you probably don't want to go hiking and then get stuck in a crowded elevator. These shoes don't breathe well.

Cute, but a little big -
I always wear and eight, and these shoes totally came up a lot in the back. They are SO cute!!! Too bad, and I'm leaving town so I won't be able to keep them. Booo!

Cute shoes, but the strap doesn't adjust. I have a narrow heel and a low instep, and the strap was useless; it just didn't hold the shoe on. Too bad, because they would have been comfortable otherwise, I think. But I was unwilling to pay for the strap to be shortened or a new snap installed.

Nice looking shoe but I\'m already on my second pair. The snap on the strap ripped off within the first month of wearing them. Zappos kindly replaced them for me without any hassle. The sizes are a little weird too. A 7.5 was a bit small and the 8 was too big. Cute shoe and great for casual\/work but I don\'t think I\'d recommend it to anyone.

I bought these shoes for a trip. Very comfortable and looks good with shorts, jeans etc. One issue, though, is the snap. The snap completely came off and I had to exchange for a new pair. The closure itself is very hard to unsnap. Not a quick off and on shoe for airline security.

These shoes are eye-catching & stylish. I haven't worn them around water yet, but they're a nice breezy hot weather shoe. I wear 8 or 8.5 and followed the reviews and ordered the 8 which was perfect. My main complaint is that the strap can't be adjusted. I have narrow feet, so it's a loose fit for me - kind of flip-floppy. Also, there's no arch support, but the footbed does have nice cushioning. Great for hanging out or a beach shoe, not so much for a walking shoe.

Love them, but...
Like a previous reviewer, the snap on mine also broke and I had only worn them 5-6 times. I really like them so I had a local shoe repair fix them ($5) instead of returning them to Zappos. These shoes, as stated, are for a narrower foot. I too got blisters right above the ankle on both feet. Also, my feet do sweat in these and it feels slippery when walking. Despite all of this, I really like them and may get another color.

Bought these shoes and even though they are really cute, the comfort was terrible! I ended up finding some different inserts to put in them, which made them wearable and I also did not like the 'tan' color and was fortunate enough to have some brown shoe polish and now the shoe is brown-really ups the cute factor. There is a spot that I have to wear a bandaid on the outside of one of my feet otherwise I am guaranteed to have a blister. To be honest, the cute factor can't outweigh all the other issues on these shoes. Find a different pair!

Just not wide enough...
If I had narrower feet, these would have probably have felt fine. As it was, I found the strap that meets the arch area of the shoe dig into my foot. It was uncomfortable and would have been painful if I'd insisted on walking on it for any length of time. This shoe should fit fine on people with regular or even narrow widths though.

Cute but Sticky -
I got these to wear on my way to and from yoga class. I wanted something cute and easy to get in and out of; the Westwater is both. My only complaint is that the sole makes my feet feel sticky, especially if it's warm out, and my heel rubs on the back because of this.

These shoes looked great, I loved the color and the look - until I tried them on. They’re big and they're wide and my foot sort of slops around in them despite ordering down a half size as recommended. They have no support. Your feet just sort of bends them this way and that. By the time I had them on for five minutes, they looked like my oldest pair of shoes… like they were so sloppy they should be thrown out. Not a good quality in a shoe for this shoe freak. They are very comfy, I'll give them that and I also need to say that I had the strap around the heel so as to force some shape into them - it's far too short a strap if you have a high instep. That may well be part of the sloppy fit as I experienced it. One good thing - Zappos had them at my door within 24 hours. Zappos is THE best, even if I don't think the same thing about Teva!

Hi, over all I like this shoe. It could use more arch support and padding in interior of the toe area.

Not a performance shoe -
had to order because these look so cute.....and since its Teva I was hoping for something with support...more of a tougher shoe...like a girly urban hiker kind....there isn’t any support for arch or heel and the insole doesn’t come out and even if it did there wouldn’t be much room for an orthotic...it doesn’t have a roomy toe box in either height nor width...the strap is too tight....and its not adjustable....its got elastic in it but it still binds against the top of my foot.....and the color......well....I got the pesto and the green part is nice but the shiny part that’s kind of dark brown doesn’t look like it belongs on the shoe...its like from a dress shoe...slightly shiny.....they do look cute on ........petite and sporty looking and I do love the visual of the green swirls of the rubber soles.......they didn’t feel good to have on at all.....if you want a rocking Mary Jane try Keen Berkeley.... I have had mine for a year and they are amazing...and my orthotic fits..... As far as size I ordered a size smaller then I usually do...size 5....might could have tried a 5.5 if I were going to keep them. They run large and tend to be narrower then my Keens and Asics and even my other Tevas.

Such a cute shoe, but not so cute for people with wider feet. If you can't wear strappy sandals because your feet slop over the sides and look funny, then you can't wear these either for the same reason. Despite this, they were comfy.

These are very comfortable and lightweight sport shoe, but the strap is too flimsy. I wore the shoes for 3 weeks and the strap tore off its connections

The Westwater shoe is cute, but I found the shoe (foot bed) was not as comfortable as I read in the reviews; in fact the heel area is too hard. The insert should be thicker for comfort.

These shoes are indeed comfortable, however, within one week's time the strap of one shoe pulled completely off! I was pleased with Zappo's provided and immediate (and free) exchange for the same style of shoe. I wore the second pair for a little over a week before the exact problem occurred again and the strap of this shoe pulled off on the same place! Fortunately, the shoes are able to be worn without the strap. I am still a bit disappointed, as I have spent 1/10 of the price on other shoes that have lasted me for years.

This shoe is stiff and cuts into my foot across the top at the front. It also feels odd at the heel where the back strap slips up and down when I walk. Overall not comfortable.

I was so disappointed with these shoes! I have a pair of Teva sandals that I have literally been wearing for 4 years and they are still comfortable. This style, Westwater, has no support. The soles are very thin and don't resemble anything like my trusty sandals. They didn't seem to be made well either. Thanks to Zappos for easy return/exchanges, however.

Eh, disappointed -
Cute enough shoe but the snaps are too tight and awkwardly placed too far back along the side of the shoe. Comfort is just ok I did expect more cushioning in the foot bed. Size seems smallish for my usual size. Overall they don't seem to be the quality I expected. Would not recommend or buy again.

Cute but OH SO SORE DID THESE MAKE ME!
First I ordered an 8 (I wear an 8.5) but they were too big. I thought they were cute so I ordered half a size smaller and wore them an afternoon around the house. You would have thought I had been hiking all day in high heels. The part that covers your toes, where it ends below your toes, digs in to your foot once you get the size that works length wise. I don't have wide feet and don't usually experience tightness problems. Although very disappointed by these cute alternatives to Keens, Keens is just what I ended up exchanging these shoes for. Now I am in heaven, even if they are a little on the 'ugly' side to some. But, as always Zappos customer service was excellent all the way through every purchase and return. Buy from anywhere else and you will be disappointed. Zappos is the best.
