I bought these shoes because it was recommended for those who supinate (pigeon toed). My whole life I have been clumsy. At least once a year, I'm in a cast or boot. I don't wear heels and I have even sprang my ankle wearing flip flops. Anyways, I want to run and after researching internet, I discovered my problem. These shoes provide me the stability that I never knew that I was missing with my others shoes. Every step is solid and I don't feel as if my foot is about to "turn". These shoes are unber comfortable. I'm a loyal Nike brand buyer and these are my first non-Nike shoes and I think I found the new brand for me. The shoes fits true to size, I like the style despite that I usually buy bright shoes. The gray N and the back of the heel is reflective. The price is perfect and I thought because these shoes were much cheaper than the others I usually buy, I was worried that the quality would suck but these could possibly be the best pair of shoes that I have ever owned. I highly recommend these.

This is a great shoe. It's comfortable, has good arch support and looks great with jeans.

I have a big big toe and size 11 in Women's is hard enough to find as it is. These are literally the most comfortable tennis shoes I've ever worn!

Great shoe for running or walking. Great quality for a great price. I'm normally an 8 1/2 or 9, depending on the brand. This shoe fits perfectly, just enough room so my big toe doesn't rub during my workout. If you're a borderline 9, you might want to go with a 9 1/2. Hope this helps!

I walk to and from work so I need a comfortable shoe. I wore these for the first time today and they are awesome. Like walking on a cloud.

I had to find a comfortable shoe for working long hours running around a hospital, and these are great. Love that they have plenty of room but fit snugly when tied to give my foot good support, though I wear a 7.5 usually and bought an 8. Also was looking for something with a soft tongue since I have a cyst on my foot, and these have a more padded tongue than most of the other shoes I was looking at. Plus really cute!

Super comfy and casual. Needed a little more room for some customs insoles - this shoe provides plenty!

Another solid shoe from New Balance: comfortable, supportive, and able to accommodate my orthotics. I went with the black/blue. They look great with jeans or shorts, and wash off easily.

I'm glad these came in black, so they won't show dirt as much as the other colors. These shoes are definitely true to size, but I ordered a size up, seeing that I like lots of room in the toe area. The shoes are very comfortable for taking long walks.

I'm on my third pair of these, and have "stockpiled" a fourth. When they weren't available I tried a couple other NB styles, as well as another brand. Nothing is as good.

I love these shoes! I used to have the gray ones in 7.5wide, but the regular width fits just as well and the color choices are better. The "gray" on these shoes is more purple-y than it looks in the picture -- for me that's a good thing!

This New Balance shoe is sized right, and looks good on my feet. Very comfortable with its casual and preppy looks.

First, I received this package in two days. Thanks Zappos!! Second, these are my "walk around the city" and "concert" shoe. I'm trying to keep my running shoes separate from my casual shoes and these are perfect. I have a wider foot, so certain brands don't always fit me the way I like them too. I also ordered a half-size bigger so I could wear socks and not snag my toe nails. I have a high arch and my feet are very comfortable in these shoes. I got the grey/teal color combination and the picture is true to the color you get (maybe a little darker grey). I've worn them a few times and people compliment!

Have been wearing NB 574s for several years. The SL2 last is perfect for my feet. There is plenty of room for inserts and the heel is nice and snug. I wish they still came in solid black leather. Tried the 576, but they felt too stiff and heels slipped. As always, Zappos' service excellent.

Love the look of these, but have to send them back for a smaller size. I got the wide in my regular size, and needed a half size smaller.

Wow, my favorite shoe to own, and I hate wearing shoes! I have a bunion, crossover-toe issue, and am healing from a broken metatarsal, all on the same foot. Finding a pair of shoes to accommodate all those conditions was difficult. I certainly wasn't prepared to find a pair that fit that criteria, were very comfortable, and look great, but I did. I love the gray/white color; it goes with almost everything. I thank Zappos for teaching me about the SL-2 last -- that, I think, was the thing that made a big difference in my shoe selection. Can't say enough about Zappos customer service. As always, the shoes arrived in less than 24 hours and my return was processed as promised. All-in-all, a great shoe and shopping experience.

These good-looking shoes are very comfortable, I like the way they lace up a bit higher than others, it seems to give good ankle support. I have chronical tendonitis in my feet and ankles but these shoes take me through many hours of standing without pain. I'll be ordering another pair.

These are extremely comfortable walking shoes for pavement or light duty trails. They are wider in the toe box than some styles -- which adds to the comfort.
