Boots came new missing their insoles…. Third pair of redwings I’ve purchased. First from Zappos. Also first time missing bits on $300 boots…

I ordered size 10.5 wide. The boot looks and feels like size 11.5 regular. I can get it on OK and it feels OK to walk, but maneuvering is like wearing skis. I keep misjudging how close things are from the toe. This can be dangerous. This may also affect arch support. What's really unusual is the mold. I never put boots up wet, I hang them on a line under the carport until they're dry before putting them in the closet. They get plenty of air and even some sunshine. But these boots grow mold spots ALL OVER, while they're still hanging on the line. I have treated them with mold killer, soap & vinegar, even WD40. Nothing keeps the mold off. I had a pair of these same boots that I wore for 5 years. They were great, which is why I ordered another pair. What a mistake.

I thought Red Wing were the best boots ever. My yardman swears by Thorogood. Looks like he's right

Not like the Redwings I had for decades. Bad fit, leather too stiff. Sad when a stable reliable brand ruins a product.

These shoes are huge. Maybe 2" longer than other size 10 boots that I wear. The width seems good. My foot is a little tight on insert into the boot because the opening is not that huge, but it's work able. Return my size 10EE for 9EE These boots look great, but I would expect better build quality for the price. The insoles are cheap too. Over all I'd suggest saving your money on these boots, and buying something from LL bean that is similar. Too bad.

One of the boots was obviously crooked on the last and the other was noticeably narrower than the other. Red Wing quality is going downhill.

The quality of the leather is very good, top quality, but everything else is terrible especially at this price point. I am in construction and these boots are painful to wear. I am still trying to break them in after 2 weeks. I have been trying to find the best boots for wear and comfort and so... frustrated with these. The sole is hard a concrete and has no padding, the leather is super stiff and rubs blisters on my ankles and calf. Also, for a shoe in this price point you would think the would include waterproofing, a finger loop, lace hooks, and maybe some decent laces. I liked that the are manufactured in the USA but Red Wing needs to reevaluate and make a shoe that is constructed of durable top quality leather and has full featured a comfort.

Had to return the boots. I’m very confused, I ordered a size 11 E2 which are the same size as my RedWing Iron Rangers (the iron rangers fit great from the start)but these Moc toe boots are just wayyyy too small. Maybe the right size but for sure too narrow. My guess is someone at Redwing put the wrong size label in the boot?? Anyway, huge disappointment, must return and will try a bigger size.

The shoes I got are not the right size. The box says 9.5, but the boots are 7.

I don't know how else to rate these. I never even got a chance to walk in them! I am a size 14 in running shoes so I purchased these in 13 on the advice that these boot fit large. That proved to be true in terms of the length, which was spot on. The issue is that I have wide feet, and Red Wing doesn't offer wide width beyond size 12 (inexplicable why many shoe companies do this!) so I took a chance on the 13D since some reviews had mentioned that these boots are no problem for men with wide feet. Unfortunately that is not the case for all of us, since I couldn't even cram my foot into this boot at all unless I was barefoot! I understand that these particular boots require considerable time to break in, but if you can't even get your foot in to it then it's a sign to move on. If only they offered EE width for us long footed folks! Such a bummer because I love the style and the construction and materials appear to be top notch.

I don't know how this pair feels, true to size or width or arch support. No. Because I didn't even desire to put my feet in it. It is a stylish pair of boots, made in the States, impressive out of box, but also defective out of box. The right one is already heavily creased. It looks so different from the left one. I didn't try it on. I was expecting more of a pair of boots of this price, this brand, and made in the States: part of the reason I chose it, but very disappointed. Red Wing, if you do not want to align yourself with the footwear made in the Far East, which a lot of comments here degraded, you have to be better to prove yourself.

Easily the worst boot I've owned. I coveted these boots for years but never wanted to drop a lot on them. This past spring, I decided to finally get them. An epic waste of money. They're comfortable but the soles wear out VERY quick. They absorb water like a sponge, discoloring socks. They're a death trap in snow. I've fell so many times, I stopped wearing them and bought a new pair of boots. Yes you can get them resoled with a Vibram sole but for the cost? Please. Save your money and buy something else. I've owned ten or more pairs of boots over the years. I'm a carpenter. Carolina, Timberland, Chippewa will serve you better. So disappointed in these.

So disappointed in these very expensive boots. My husband tried them for a few hours, but the hardness of the insole was too much! He said there was a flyer in the box to buy insoles to make them comfortable, but for the price we should not have to buy that. Sending back now!
