I just recently bought a fabulous pair of Wellies, and I can't possibly imagine wearing them without these socks. Really, they make a world of difference in terms of added warmth, comfort and style. Some things to keep in mind with these socks, however: I own the Huntress boots, which are wider in the calf but shorter by an inch or so than the originals. These socks are really designed for the original Welly. Although it doesn't make too much of a difference, some people may not like how long the socks are in comparison to the boot if they decide to purchase the Huntress, as they can't really be tucked in or wrapped over the Huntress too well. Also, I know zappos.com says a Large is for a size 7-9, and while I wear a shoe size 8, I find the Large rather big. I would prefer something with a more snug fit. Next socks I buy will be the smaller size. Other than those two small issues, these socks are great, and a vital addition for any winter Welly wear.

Great sock. Like mentioned before, you have to put it on before you put the boot on, and it always comes off when you take the boots off. I think of it more of a liner. The Charcoal Grey is very light. I wouldn't call it charcoal.

Very cute and warm! Make sure that you order the next size up in Hunter boots so that you will have enough room with this liner in!

These are the best! I'm so glad I got them this winter because I walk to work in NYC and it was not only been abnormally cold but so snowy and slushy that I would have ruined several pairs of shoes by now if not for my Hunters. They are very warm and they fit perfectly in the rain boot. I purchased the gray for my red boots and it is a great match. They are more of a putty color than a true gray but they compliment the red nicely.

According to my daughters, the socks do keep your feet warm. But they make it much more difficult to get the boots on and off. They socks also make the boots tighter - so account for that when you choose your boot size!

Fantastic! nice and cozy and comfortable. Confession, sometimes I just wear them around the house as slippers. Slips into any welly-style boot, not just Hunter. Good investment for a long winter ahead.

I am a size 8.5, the medium can fit but it is a little tight. These socks paired with skinny jeans are too thick for the boots, I have to stick to leggings when I wear these socks.

The welly socks are soft, fit perfectly in the boot, and look super cute! The only slight issue I've had with them is that the seam for the sock is pretty thick and meets with another seam at the back of your ankle. This isn't uncomfortable if you wear the wellies with just tights/leggings/bare legs, but if you wear them with something thicker like a pair of skinny jeans, I would recommend wearing a light ankle sock underneath the welly sock to keep the seam from rubbing your ankle. This is only really noticeable if you're walking a long distance in the boots in the first place. Overall, they're great socks and I've received tons of compliments on them!

I bought several pairs this winter from my Mother to my grandsons. It is great to wear in your rain boots on those wet winter days when you don't want to ruin your suede boots. Love them.

Bought the wrong size at first - they run a tad big. Exchanged very easily through Zappos - very helpful associates. Love the welly socks!

Really nice and make the boot! Even the short ones. I am a size 8 but thought these were to loose and ordered a medium which was much better.

I love the quality of this product although it was not what I ordered. I received a light grey to go with my black boots, since it was not the charcoal I requested I tuck them inside my Wellington Boots for additional warmth.

I love the look of the Welly Socks, However, it is the most uncomfortable thing I can ever wear. Sorry, but I have to return. Thank you Zappos for no hassel return!

Definitely would have kept me warm, but way too big for the size they said to order. I am size 9, and large was way too big.

I am 5'3" and have smaller legs. Boots usually look especially big on me and I prefer a circumference of 14" to be snug against my jeans. This boot, with the Welly sock is absolutely perfect. They are sleek, fitted, and look gorgeous (for rainboots). I have had multiple comments on them and have only had them for a day. I would highly suggest investing in a boot if you need rain/snow protection at least three days a week. With the weather this year, it was time for me to invest in a nice pair of boots that were going to last. If you get thin wool liners for those extra cold days, you are set to go. The size is true to size, so order what you would normally wear for running shoes.

I bought the charcoal color expecting a grey tone. It's definitely more of a brown/stone color--not grey.

They work great with the Hunter boots in winter. Keep my feet warm and don't bunch or move in the boot. If you're going to use your Hunter boots for snow (and not just rain), I highly recommend them.

I bought these to wear in the cold atmosphere of the indoor ice rink. I sometimes sit there for up to 5 hours watching my kids. These are fabulous and have kept my feet roasty toasty, love them.

I purchased these welly socks for my daughter to go under her Hunter boots. She wears a size 8 boot and I ordered the size M sock, which fit perfectly. Although advised to order a L in the sock, I didn't because I was afraid it would bunch under the boot. The M fit perfectly and is especially warm also.

Love my Welly socks! They are so comfy and you can wear them with or without another pair of socks. For cold days, I wear them with regular socks. I have smallish calves, and with my jeans and welly socks tucked in boots, there is no extra room. If you have larger calves, these might not work for you.

I ordered the socks around 12pm on 1/17. I was wearing the socks the very next day at 2pm! Incredible service! And the socks are perfect for the Hunter boots. So warm! Thank you Zappos!
