Welly Socks - a really great product. But there is a caveat. These socks are distinctly tan, not charcoal. I double checked the box to be sure the right pair was sent. What it looks like in the photo is not consistent. But they are really fantastic. I tested them in other boots. As long as you have the room in the shoe and shaft for a thick sock, you can use these in any boots. I am actually wearing them in a pair of Kamik's right now, and I've tried them with a pair of Frye's. Uber cute and very warm and cozy. Thumbs up. Just beware the color is not as advertised. Also, the stitching at the back of the sock by the heel is annoying to me, so I have to wear them with a thin sock. I also can wear them pretty easily with the Wellies and skinny jeans. I have really skinny calves - I should note this.

These are incredibly warm inside your boots! They run true to size. You can not beat the prices and lightening fast shipping from Zappos.

This is a nice quality product, but I did not like the charcoal color. I was expecting it to look off black or dark grey. Instead it is an unattractive shade of brown. In my opinion it does not look good with the black gloss boots. It might look good with the dark brown boots. The socks help my Hunter original tall gloss boots fit better in the foot but they make the very top of the boot feel too snug for comfort. I have to return them but they might work out great for someone with thinner calves. If you just want them to wear by themselves around the house they will fit.

Bought these fun and bright socks for my daughter and we both love them. They fit well into the boots and stay where they are supposed to. Toasty and cute and match more than I expected. Not sure yet how they hold up, but I am optimistic.

I purchased the black and the zebra for my hunter boots! They are just the best! I live in the south so we don't have too much snow. However, this past winter, we had snow twice and my 12 year old borrowed my Hunters more than once! :) Remember to put the fleece socks on first and then insert leg in to boot. Great for year round wear! I wear a 7 and ordered the medium. They fit like a glove with plenty of room to spare!

These socks are great with my Hunter boots. It is important to know that the size of your socks should match the size of your boots. My foot size is 7.5. I first ordered boots size 8 and socks in Medium. The socks were too short and I had to return them and buy size Large, which is longer, to match my boot. The foot size for the socks seem to be the same (almost). It is really the height that varies significantly. I love Zappos customer service. It was very easy to exchange them.

These socks go great with my Hunter boots! I got the regular size, not the short ones. They're nice and comfy. I consider myself to have fairly large ankles and calves; I am 5'5 and my calves are about 16 inches around. I got the 8 and it is 17 inches in the calf so it's perfect, not too big, not too small. Beautiful comfortable lightweight boot. Unlike the Xtra Tuffs most Alaskans here use - I don't participate in any strenuous activity so these fit me perfectly.

Perfect winter socks. They are so comfortable. Great for lounging and pairing with my Hunter boots during colder weather. Not too thick.

It's summer so my husband hasn't a chance to try these out, but he was very impressed with the quality and said he thought they'd be just the thing this winter in his new Hunter boots.

Absolutely love... super soft and will keep feet warm in cold weather under boots and when boots are off. Keeping! (By the way: my ankles a little skinny but they are socks so they still work well under boots.)

These socks run true to size. They are very warm and comfy. Perfect for those cold days or climates. I highly recommend them.

They're ridiculously expensive but probably worth it. And you don't need Hunter wellies; most wellies need a lining to keep your feet warm. Need more color choices.

I wear a size 9 shoe and go0t these in an 8-10. They are a bit big and on the foot, but they are super warm! I love them!

Wow! Just what I needed! These welly socks are super warm and necessary! They fit great, and there was some room if I need to wear them with regular socks. Also, they wash really well and didn't shrink. A great addition to your Hunter boots.

Oh my gosh these are so cute, and comfy! They really jazz up my rain boots adding a pop of color, and they are very functional. I have narrow feet so my socks always slip off in rain boots, no more. You put these on first like socks and then slip on your boots, and problem solved. I get tons of compliments on them and now cannot wait for rain. These are reasonably priced so you can even get a few different colors if you just can't pick one.

I love these socks! I have the cream color and they go with everything. They look adorable over the boot and keep my feet super warm especially on cold snowy days. I highly recommend.

These are great, but I was not that crazy about the color. I got charcoal, but it was a bit more brown then gray. Overall these are great and look good with my black Hunters, but if it's really cold out I usually wear another pair of socks under these.

These are comfortable, warm, and a must when wearing Hunters through the winter. Keep my feet extremely warm and cozy during big snowstorms and the snow that piles up for weeks afterward. Highly recommended. Although it is true that the Charcoal color is not really accurate to the picture online and more of a taupe color.

I used these with the Huntress boot, and they fit perfectly. Great for cold and rainy/snowy days.

A great way to add a splash of color to my black glossy Hunter Boots. They also make a huge difference in insulation for cold cold days. I will often wear these plus a pair of high performance wool socks in my wellies to help keep me warm on long walks in freezing weather.

A must for your Hunter Welly boots! Keeps your toes nice and warm! One thing though, you must down size. My boots are a size 8 and I went with the medium and it's a perfect fit. Fits like a glove.

These were one of the best purchases ever! They are a must have for your hunter boots. They are so comfy and warm you can even wear them around the hour. I got the large and felt they were a little roomy on their own but just right in the boots! What a fantastic purchase!
