These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I have a pair of water-proof Targhees that get warm toward summer, and these are the warm weather version. I also have a pair of Keen sandals that have the same basic design. I love the comfortable toe box. A little clunky to look at, but they are tough and comfortable!

Great comfortable shoes. I use them as my everyday shoes. The hold up well and provide good support. My experience leads me to buy a half size larger for this shoe.

Lightweight and comfortable shoe. The laces were too long and my wife cut 8” off from the center and stitched them together. Now i won’t be tripping on long laces.

This is my husbands second pair of voyageurs - they are at least 1/2 size smaller than the pair he got in 2016 - glad we read reviews before we purchased and ordered up.

Color is not as pictured! It’s more of a dark slate color not the kind of beige color they show. But I actually love the color. It also runs small. I’m usually an 8.5-9, I got a 9.5 based on reviews saying it’s small and I have to return because it’s still too small.

Great shoe !

I wanted to love these Keen hikers, especially since it's tough to find any hiking shoes that aren't waterproof ("breathable membrane" my eye!). But I've got a high instep, and these were just too narrow. Unfortunately Keen doesn't made many shoes in wide; but, weirdly, some of their medium width shoes fit wide feet. Every Keen shoes I've met seems to have been made on its own unique last, so that finding my size from shoes to shoes is gratuitously difficult. Oh, well, great company and great shoes if you have normal feet!

Smaller than the old pair. Ordered the same size as my old keen voyagers. (5 years old). Had to return for a larger size. Great shoe though!

Keen produces high quality shoes. They are and will continue to be my everyday shoe. Love Zappos delivery and service too.

Much, much darker than the picture shows, almost black in real life.

I bought these for my husband for a vacation to hike in the mountains. He said they were very comfortable.

Sure, they're a trifle clunky looking, but only if you're not a fan of the unparalleled comfort that is the hallmark of Keens. These are much like the Voyaguer hiking boots, though a bit stiffer like the Targhee. Roomy toebox, great ventilation and stability. Keens run smaller so I've always ordered a size up.

These shoes fit great and are super comfortable, particularly for a long day on your feet. They have also been very durable, showing minimal signs of wear & tear. If and when they do wear out, I will buy another pair.

Too small! Either KEEN has changed their manufacturing lasts, or my feet have grown - or maybe both???

I have had these hikers for many years-On my third pair and love them-However my newest pair are at least 1/2 to 1 size smaller!!!! I held both my other pairs of the same shoe against the wall and wow, what a difference in size-Keen must be changing sizing on this hiker-Zappos is of course making sure I get a size that fits-Zappos Rocks!!! But if you order this hiker and have had the same one prior, you need to go at least one half size or possibly one full size larger!!!! It is a GREAT hiker!!! Love the Keen Voyageur

I wear this shoe almost every day. Very comfortable fit for me. They last just over a year before they start wearing out. This is my 4th pair.

Ordered these after my husband couldn't find lightweight hiking shoes that he liked. He usually likes more of a boot for ankle support, but he says that these give him enough support on the outside of his foot to keep his ankles from rolling. I wasn't sure if he would like them... but I love mine so I shouldn't have been surprised. I imagine we'll be ordering Keen shoes from now on.

The best. I do a lot of walking / hiking with the backpack fill with camera gear. If you're needing the bottom foot support you'll find the sticks and stones, on the ground don't have you bruising later in the day. And the grippy bottom to the gravel path is nice. I'm not ready to hit the knees and buy a new pair of high dollar pants. Most my hiking is around Oahu, Hawaii and slipping is not an option. Hope that helps you decide. Derek

Extremely comfortable with wide toe area.

These shoes served me so well that I purchased the same pair 3 years later. I bought the same size and had to return them because they were too big. Be aware that Keen may have changed sizing.

Great product! Comfortable and good looking.

I've been a fan of Keens for a long time and these hold true to the awesomeness of Keen. Break in time is virtually non existent; throw them on and start walking, no discomfort! I wore these to a concert last week which involved a lot of walking and standing on concrete and my feet were pain free at the end of the night. Good stuff!

My wife picked these shoes for me out of desperation as I am not into shopping...at all. WINNER !! They are a good all around walking shoe and have excellent traction. I have back issues so good foot support is essential or I'm a virtual bear. These shoes take a lot of stress off my lower back and....bonus - they breathe! So, no clammy feet. I've been really happy with my several pair of Keen sandals and lace ups - so I guess it really comes as no surprise that these are true to the Keen fit and durability. Thanks Keen! I'm very happy. I read reviews before I ordered these and the fear was that they ran small for the size. Seemed that way at first, but after a few days I didn't notice and now they are a pair of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. Bought them for a trip to Italy, where I would be walking a lot in cities and towns and doing some rugged hiking as well. Perfect and needed no breaking in. My only concern is the loops, in place of eyelets, at the end. I fear that when I pull them tight the loop will come from the stitching, but so far, so good!
