Great support and sole gives good protection when walking over rocky surfaces. Just needs a little breaking in around the toe area. Very pleased with purchase.

These are my go to shoes. This is the fourth pair I've bought and worn out the previous three. The wide toe box is the best but I also like the slight lift in the heel and ankle support. And they look pretty good for hiking boots!

As usual with Keens, I wore my new Keens all day right out of the box. They are comfortable and lightweight, and they arrived very quickly.

I LOVE THESE. Took them straight out of the box and wore them for 3 long days in a row caddying for a disc golfer in mud, rain, sun, woods and fields. Felt protected from rocks and sticks, great traction and absolutely NO break-in time necessary, which has never been the case for me before trying Keen's. Highly recommended. I usually wear a 6. The 5 1/2 is perfect. FYI I also wear a 5 1/2 in the Whisper model and the Targhee Vent.

I love, love, these shoes! They run true to size, they are extremely comfortable right out of the box. They are durable, waterproof, and have strong support. I can't think of anything that isn't perfect on them. I especially like that they are vented for the hot weather here in Colorado. They keep my feet cool in the summer and are still comfortable in our mostly mild winters. They are a little cold when I ride my motorcycle in the winter due to the venting, but I still like that they are vented. I have had at least 3 pairs of these shoes. I love them!

This is a very reliable shoe for me, this will be my 4th pair and they wear and wear and keep on being my go-to work in the yard shoe. These shoes accommodate my inserts for plantar fasciitis. The place where they wear our eventually is the heel on the inside of the shoe. The shoe has air inserts in the top so that when the weather is really hot my feet can be cooler. Keen also has a nice waterproof version, but I like this one because it is lighter. Shoe accommodates my wide front feet perfectly. Comfortable to wear all day right out of the box.

I love this hiking shoe from the colors to the feel when walking. However, I am returning them because my toes hurt after wearing them for 1/2 day. I purchased a size 11, wish they had an 11.5 a W width. I just need a tad more length. I have wide flat feet and these provide excellant support for the entire foot. Finding a shoe that fits just right is a nightmare for me. I am going to try a man's shoe next since finding a W in a woman's 11 or finding an 11.5 is just impossible.

Bought these with a pair of Merrells bc I wasn’t sure which to go with after reading the reveries. However after trying both pairs on, the Merrells were the ones I really didn’t want to take off. These Keens were still cute and comfy but stiff and looked like they might be hotter in the summer tho I could be wrong. I would have kept these if I didn’t have another choice. By far the winning Keen shoe for comfort and quality.

Just received my second pair of Keen Voyageur hiking shoes - and fit just as great as the first pair. It appears that Keen shortened the laces - a needed improvement. These are terrific warm weather hiking shoes when a boot is too hot. Great shoe for those needing lots of support.

These are great shoes for just about everything.

I put the right shoe on first - Perfect fit! - orthotic and all. It took me some time to figure out what was bothering my 3rd and 4th toes in that left shoe. I tried it with orthotics, without insole, and all kinds of ways, including using insoles from another pair of Keens. I finally realized the problem - the stitching on the foot bed, under the removable insole, has a spot where the (very large) stitches are bunched up, pushing my toes upward in that spot, making them too snug. This left shoe is defective. The stitching on the right shoe, also big, raised stitches, were not bunched up in any spot so didn't cause an issue. I compared the stitching in these Voyageurs with my Keen Presidios and the stitches in those are much smaller and completely smooth. No problem, in this same size. As I like these so much, the right shoe was perfect, and the ratings are so good, I will try another pair, hopefully not defective.

Great! I finally found a pair of waterproof sneaker type shoes that don't squeeze the very wide front of my foot or put pressure on my arthritic big toe joints...but also hold my narrow heel snugly when the shoes are tied. I've been looking for quite a while and tried a number of shoes that didn't work, including several other Keens and Merrells. These shoes fit well and were confortable from the start; I didn't feel like they needed breaking in and was able to wear them full days right after I got them. I have custom orthotics I use with them, so I can't say anything about the original insoles. These are terrific and I'm going to buy another pair before they change the style and I can't find them anymore!

Excellent shoe! This is my second pair....found that they ran about a 1/2 size smaller than my last ones.....so size up a 1/2. Love the height and super comfortable!

Another great Keen shoe, as supportive as the other outdoorsy shoes. Disagree with the review that said no arch support, this was exactly what I hoped it would be. A roomy fit across the toe box with great arch support

I was delighted to find the same shoe I bought about 5 years ago. I love Keens and have no need to look further. It's hard to find athletic shoes for my slightly narrow foot. These do the trick, with plenty of room for my toes. Thanks, Zappos, for making it easy.

Awesome shoe. Plenty of toe room. Wonderful sole with perfect balance of cushion and support, especially for my plantar fasciitis feet. Only thing I would change is another hole for laces by the ankle. I plan to purchase a leather punch and make another hole to foot from slippage as my heel is narrow. Podiatrist and physical therapist told me a lot of women have wide toe narrow heel. Why they don't manufacturers make more shoes for us? Overall I definitely recommend this shoe.

My most recent pair is probably my 7th or 8th pair of this shoe (in different colors of course)! So comfortable and fits my feet just right - love my Keens voyageur II!!

This is my second pair of Voyageur's and I really like them. I've worn Keen's to work, I'm in a food manufacturing environment, for years now. No break in time necessary for these and the removable foot bed lets me put my orthotics in with no issues. I just wish the sole was slip resistant. The floors here are either wet from water or some sort of cleaning chemical and I have to watch my step as I transition from tile floors to concrete otherwise down I'll go. Otherwise a great shoe. Good for hiking and getting muddy in the garden.

This is my second pair of these shoes. I was glad to find them again after about 5 years; they were getting worn. My feet are a little narrow--it's hard to find athletic shoes that fit me so well. I wear them for hiking, gardening and walking.

took other reviewers advice and ordered 1/2 size larger...perfect fit...these will fast become my go to shoes for hiking with my dogs! Thanks Zappos for your awesome customer service...

Bought these for a trip to Colorado for some hiking. Actually just received them a couple days before leaving for my trip so I didn’t have time to break them in. I found there was no break in time needed. I did a lot of hiking with them straight out of the box and my feet felt energized, stable and not sore or any blisters at all! Very well made. I am thinking they will last a very long time.

I usually wear 6.5 or 7, but need to size up for Keen. I should have remembered that as I needed to exchange for 7.5. I am very happy with the look and the quality of the shoes. Great for walking. I also appreciate the classic smart look as so many now come in loud colors.

I am Kean on Keen. Their toe box is roomy and materials are sturdy, but lightweight, great for walking in the woods!

I've worn Keen hiking boots for many years. I bought this ankle version to wear to a new part-time job where I'm on my feet for 6-8 hours each time I work. Needed more support than even the best sneakers could provide. So far, so good. My feet feel more protected and they don't hurt at the end of the day. Love Keen. Highly recommend, especially if your feet are wide across the toe area.

This is my second pair of this shoe. My first pair are old and worn, but still holding out. Because they have lasted so long through dirt, mud, and streams of water, I wanted another pair to get me through the next years of outdoor adventure. These are the most comfortable and durable hiking shoe I have ever worn.
