So far so good. Advice to bump up a half size was good. Haven't taken a real hike yet but they were pretty comfortable right out of the box.

Just moved from city to farm. These hiking boots fit perfectly from the moment I put them on. Light weight, functional and handsome. Winners!

This is my first pair of Keen boots and I absolutely love them! They keep my feet warm and dry. They also do not come up too high on the ankle, which I like.

Very comfortable right out of the box, awesome boot for hiking and camping, great for the desert environment, rock hopping and light backpacking.

As a person who wears flip-flops or bare feet as a matter of course, finding a pair of closed shoes that are comfortable is feat unto itself. I bought these for a future overland trip to Africa. I have been wearing them to break them in but they are perfect already.

I've had this pair of shoes for more than a year and I absolutely love it. It is uber comfortable out of the box and provides great ankle support. It is durable too, as I've worn these for almost every other activity and it still looks as good as new, albeit a little dusty. I loosen the laces for easy slip-in for daily walks, and utilize the lace clips to tighten them for hiking. I got these in the rust/dark earth color and it's really cute. I highly recommend these shoes!

My husband is a huge hiker, so I needed to buy some shoes sturdy for our hikes. I just got them today (two days after I orders!). This is my first pair of hiking shoes and they are great! I wear a 8.5/9, I ordered the 8.5 and it fits great! I too love the wide toe. My only complaint is that the tops rub a bit on my ankle, nothing too terrible but I'm glad it's a snug fit.

I tried at least 5 other similar shoes and went with the Keens because of the wide toe box--they are so comfortable and stable. I only wish they came in better colors.

I love these boots!! I tried several other styles and brands - these rock! Very supportive, great traction, great for my hiking needs.

This is a very sturdy hiking boot. The ankle does not flex, which I like. Also, the toe box is very square looking due to the rubber. It took a minute to get used to since it was such a large looking boot! It is great for function and stability on uneven surfaces so I'm very happy with them. I did order a half size up because they did run small.

Excellent, roomy, well cushioned footbed. Great support. Higher tops allow tighter fit with more support.

Out of the box hiking comfort, these lightweight hikers are great on walks in the woods. Very stable, very comfortable, they fit true to size.

Following other reviewers' suggestions, I ordered 1/2 size larger and the boot fit perfectly with my orthopedic inserts. I've used this boot several times for casual desert hiking with no blisters, right out of the box. Great product!

Perfect for muddy, slippery, but FUN hikes! All around comfort, great grip, and wonderful comfortable fit.

These boots are lightweight. They have moderate arch support. I have a very high arch. They have room to fit my inserts. I get compliments on them; people say they are cute. They are cool enough to wear in the summer even in FL.

Okay, these are the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever worn. My family and I hiked 30 miles across the Teton Crest trail. Lots of elevation change and rocks. Very comfy and no blisters!

I find this boot very comfortable since the first day they were put on. I usually wear a size 7.5 med but I was told to go up a half size... good advice. The width is generous. The styling is a bit strange, but I'm after form and function, not taking a stroll down the catwalk.

Awesome hikers and right out of the box! I purchased these for my 13 year old daughter when she was visiting the Grand Canyon with a school group from CT. After wearing these around the house for only a few hours, she hit the trails. The provided her with comfort, support and protection over rough terrain for an entire week. She reported that other kids in her group who were wearing sneakers and their feet took a beating but hers felt great at the end of the day. The shoes came back beat up but her feet and ankles didn't have a mark on them. Excellent hikers!

I really like these hiking shoes. I need ankle support because I tend to roll or twist my ankles on hikes and these shoes did the trick. I have worn them on two hikes and all has been great. I did get blisters on the very top of my ankles on the second hike but that is because I wore socks that were too short. After reading the other reviews, I ordered these a size bigger than I usually need and that worked perfectly.

I love these boots. I have several other Keen shoes, and these fit true to size like my other ones. The toe box is wide enough so your toes can relax. The heel is narrow enough so it won't slip. The notch in the back accommodates the heel so there is no rubbing. I had no break in period. These breathable boots will be perfect for hiking! I have a B width foot with a high arch. These boots are very comfortable. They are lightweight and rather cool with all the mesh, but still give good ankle support and great traction. They do run a little small though, I had to order up a 1/2 size.

I can only agree with the other positive reviews submitted here. This is a very comfortable, and for me, supportive day hiking boot. It seems a lot less "sweaty" than previous Keen boots I’ve owned, so they may have listened to their customers who expressed poor ventilation with other models in general. I wear a Women’s Size 10 to 11 and ordered these in 10.5, which are a perfect fit, with or without winter socks. My feet have been warm and dry when shoveling snow, walking the dog or hiking wooded trails. As a bonus, they are good for driving as they do not block all sensitivity or flexibility, so there is no need to change footwear between activities.

I haven't been on any hikes with these yet, but they were super comfy right out of the box! I've worn them around the house and they feel great. I don't think there will need to be any break-in time. They are light weight and cute - for a hiking boot that is! I would definitely recommend them.

I bought this hiking boot for a special purpose - after I read an article recommending the combination of hiking boots and orthotics for flat feet. The Keen boot plus my orthotics give excellent arch support and the high top controls the ankle. I like the looks of the boot, and my feet stay comfortable all day.
