Fit, size, comfort, and style are all great. That said, overall two-star rating is based on these boots being absolutely terrible in wet conditions. While they make no claim to any level of water resistance, they nonetheless produce wet feet immediately under even the lightest wet conditions as compared to any normal boot or shoe. Purchasing a pair of Ecco "Turn" boots to replace them.

Always happy with Zappos service unfortunately these born hemlock boots have gone way down in quality since I bought my last pair 6 years ago and wore the soles out. The previous reviews are very accurate the finger pull on the right boot broke off the very first time I tried them on. Still have tags on them. I will be returning these for something else. To bad I had 2 pairs of these and loved them.

Don't be fooled into buying these boots, guys. They are super lame. There is nothing "roughed" about them. They are soft not very supportive boots. The sole is thin. These boots for fine for guys the want to play dress up but these boots are not for long walking days. Too bad I had to wear them to find it out and can't return them.

These boots are a great addition to any Man’s everyday wear! They for comfortable right out of the box. I still wear my first pair that I bought in 2009, but it was definitely time for a new pair. The older they get , the more they feel like your best friends!

Comfortable, warm, water resistant. True to size

Seems to fit ok. Have not had much of a chance to wear it. They are dressier than Redbacks.

Best fitting Chelsea boot out of four that I tried. Actually the correct size. Looks good too.

Very well-made but I accidentally bought these for myself without realizing these are men's boots. Ha, ha! Needless to say, the fit was way off and I had to return them.

My husband wears these boots everyday to work. He is on his third pair. Very comfortable and looks great with khakis and dress shirt.

Great Boots! My third pair of the same boots and this color looks amazing! This Gray color looks very distinctive and modern. Usually, they feel little stretch in the width when new but after few uses feel awsome. Highly recommended. The first pair last me more than 5 years and I re-order the same brown color and this new one. I love the vintage looks that the brown leather gets with the time.

My husband LOVES these! Got as a gift thinking he would want to return but wants to order a second pair in a different color!

Sizing was accurate for me, a little narrower in the toe than other Borns I've worn. The sole was nicer (more grip and better heel construction) than I expected from the other reviews. A good soft casual boot.

My husband owns these in brown and I insisted that he get the black, also. He loves them... very classy and well made.
