This is a great shoe with lots of support. I have a long, narrow foot and I often have difficulty finding a shoe that fits. I can't say enough good things about Zappos--their prompt service can't be beat.

I love these shoes - Following foot surgery in May, I'm required to wear thick orthotics in supportive shoes for one year. I bought these so I'd have something to wear with slacks other than my white New Balance athletic shoes. These are wonderful! I do find that all New Balance shoes run small for me, and I need a full size larger in these than in some other brands. But the comfort and support are first rate.

VERY comfortable! True to size. Nubuck cleans easily with a damp cloth. The green is a beautiful sage. Nice removable insole so I can use mine. I could live in these!

Expectations Met - Yet again New Balance comes through. I have been ordering my sneakers from Zappos for several years and N.B. has always given me exactly what I needed in a sneaker. I have never had to return a pair for any reason.

Worth Their Weight in Gold - My feet are difficult to fit, and I've returned dozens of shoes. Not these! I wore them all over Europe for three weeks, and never had a blister. My feet were kept dry and supported, including while hiking. The only nitpicky thing I can think of would be to have cushier insoles, as they were a bit hard.

These shoes feel fabulous, and I've gotten many compliments on their appearance. They are narrow enough to fit my very narrow foot perfectly. A keeper.

Great shoe - I needed a shoe for the winter. I love Asics Gel running shoes for summer, but they are too "airy" and cold for my feet in winter, since I wear them daily. I love these shoes. LOTS of compliments. Light to wear, warm, comfortable, and my orthotics fit in them. Great buy also.

Love these shoes - As soon as I put these shoes on my feet I knew I loved them. They fit so perfectly and the support I was looking for was there. I normally have ankle pain after doing my daily walk, not anymore! These shoes actually support my ankles. Love the brown color because I can get away with wearing them to work. We aren't allowed to wear tennis shoes but the color is so deep that at a glance you can't tell they are athletic shoes.

New Balance, Narrow width - I was happy to find a narrow width casual walking shoe. I like the look and quality of the shoe, however I found the heel slightly too wide. I wear between an 8 to 8 1/2 AA. In this shoe an 8 1/2 was the right length.

Great all round shoe - I needed a shoe that could be dressed up or down, and provided stability since I use a cane. This shoe is very kind to spastic legs and feet, and I'm able to conserve energy better with these going to parks and other outdoor events. I Love these shoes. I take an 8 wide normally, based on prior reviews of this shoe I ordered up a half size in wide width and they fit perfectly. Zappos service is amazing!

I just wore out a pair of the 747 model which I loved. I usually order New Balance 1/2 size larger than I do for dress shoes, but when this one came it was still too short and I ended up needing a full size larger. I wear a narrow shoe and stick with New Balance because I can get a narrow width. This one runs narrower than the 747 model - which is ok for me but may be tight for some people. I am questioning myself whether I could have work the medium width and whether that would have been better when I get to heavier winter socks.

Exceeded My Expectations - These shoes are perfect for me, especially for the winter months. I wear a brace from my foot and my knee, so I ordered a larger size and width and they accommodate the brace perfectly.

Finally I found a sneaker that feels light and comfortable the whole day. I had given up on wearing sneakers except for exercising. Now I'm reconsidering my options.

Feel-Good Feet - I tried the shoes on once instead of my usual 6-7 times before keeping them. Wore them a whole day the very first time while sightseeing in Alaska. As comfortable as an old shoe. I like the look and the color too.

Works with bad feet - This shoe is one of the only shoes I tried (and I have tried many) that will easily fit my orthotics and custom ankle brace, which is very bulky.

Shoes felt great right out of the box. I stand on a concrete floor 32 hrs a week, wear orthotics, have had a knee replacement, now stress fractures. Feet, knees do not hurt after working all day. My orthotics slide my feet forward. I bought 1/2 larger, worked great.

Perfect - I needed a shoe to spend a lot of time in this fall. This is it. The fit is perfect. The comfort level is great. I thought I would get them early enough to break them in, but they don't need breaking in. I highly recommend this New Balance shoe.

Great shoe! Very, very comfortable. I bought a 1/2 size larger than usual for a boot, but 1 whole size larger than most shoes I wear. Shoe accommodates wool hiking socks with no problem. If I had a wish, it would be that they were waterproof. (Although I've waterproofed them, the tongue is free.)

New Balance WW749 - I thought this shoe was comfy right from the box. The wide width feels good, they might be a teeny bit big, but I think with a thicker sock these will be fine. I bought the green color and I love them! As always, I don't know how Zappos does it! Thanks guys!

NB WW749- really comfy - Fits well, works well with orthotics, feels secure and sturdy. The brown is a nice dark chocolate color, but I fear it looks a little too masculine. I think I'll be happier with the color in the autumn and winter months, when it's worn with darker clothing.

Stable shoe - This shoe was comfortable from the start; no breaking in or sore spots. It feels stable with good traction. Felt a tad small so I exchanged for 1/2 size larger. This is my second pair of this type; they last a long time.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Wore them camping for a week with great satisfaction. Good all-around rustic walking shoe. Complement actual hiking boots well.

New Balance WW749 - Been wearing New Balance for YEARS with my foot brace and love them, but was terribly disappointed when these new ones felt half size smaller than what they're labeled. They're making them shorter now and I can't move up a size, as I now wear a size 12 w/ brace on. I'm heartbroken.

New Balance Dreams - Excellent shoes. I love them. I am wearing them now on my cross trip of the United States. I highly recommend them for comfort and looks.

CCI from VT - I got these shoes from Zappos two days before leaving for a hiking trip to Zion and Bryce Canyons in Utah. These shoes fit beautifully (although fortunately I ordered it in a half size larger than I usually wear in NB shoes), were comfortable from the get-go, and held up very well miles after mile after mile, in both 104 degrees AND then in snow (on the same trip!). I would definitely order these shoes again and would also highly recommend them as a great alternative to hiking boots.
