I wear 7.5 narrow, and these fit perfectly with a little room at the end for the toes to breathe. They look funny when you're putting them on because the arch of the insole is straight, and you have to make sure you're putting them on the right foot, but that has nothing to do with performance. They solidly hold your feet.

A friend of mine recommended these when I started physical therapy for my severe plantar fasciitis. My PT checked them out and agreed that they're exactly what I needed! The motion control is a huge blessing, so I don't turn my ankle (as I normally do). They're supportive and very comfortable. I normally wear a 10 1/2 wide. I traced my foot while standing (as my PT recommended I do) and called New Balance - they said to get an 11 (not wide), and they were absolutely right. They fit like a dream! They're not the cutest shoes, but they are so comfortable & supportive they are worth the fashion sacrifice. (Although, nobody else seems to notice, besides my husband & myself.) I wore these every single day for 18 months and finally am getting holes in them and they're not feeling so great anymore. They've taken a lot of abuse! Time for a new pair! I love these shoes!

Ordered sneaker for my daughter who has wide feet with a high instep. They fit her wonderfully and look great! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a very wide sneaker. And if you have any doubts about Zappos shipping, I can tell you that I ordered these at 9:00 at night and they were at my door by 1:00 the very next day. I don't know how they do it!

This is the most supportive and well cushioned workout shoe I have found - my orthotics work well with them and they help alleviate my ball of foot pain, hammer toe and my tendency to supinate. Fitness is my business and these are the shoes I wear. I have had about 6 pair now - the only bummer was with the last pair before this, where the color above the tongue of the shoe bled towards the toes and looked horrible. This shoe runs wide and stretches so where I would normally get a "D" I order a "B" instead. I also order workout shoes a half size larger to avoid toes jamming.

I just purchased my 2nd pair of these shoes. I wish that NB made them in other colors, but the comfort and fit brought me back to them. I wear custom orthotics, and they fit really well in these shoes. The shoes are super supportive, and I wear them almost every day! I wear a 2E width, and I found these shoes to be true to size and width.

I need a great deal of motion stability in my shoes and these shoes are great for that. I only wish they didn't look quite so clunky. Sigh. Less pain definitely trumps appearance.

On my second pair of these shoes after wearing out the first! Love them! I have narrow foot and these fit.

This is the best shoe I have ever bought! Fit great right out of the box. I have no toes due to a frost bite injury, and have a lot of ball of foot pain. These are truly a great shoe if you have any foot problems. I only wish they made them in more colors. I love the 4E, lots of wiggle room.

I have flat, wide feet, and these sneakers are the most comfortable, widest shoes I've ever worn! Got them in a D width, and they're more than wide enough. Going to buy at least two more pairs before they decide to change them!

I love these shoes! I have a real problem with shoes because I am an extra wide width after having spent 35 years on my feet as a teacher. These were so comfortable that I was able to wear them right out of the box. I have never done that with a pair of shoes before, no matter how expensive. I will continue to buy New Balance. They were recommended by my foot doctor and he was absolutely right! Thanks, Zappos!

This is a replacement of a pair of 9 1/2 D WR1122s that I just wore out. Loved the first pair for its wide and stable footbed. I use an orthotic with it and completely forgot I have wide feet with a tendency to plantar fasciitis. This pair seems to be exactly the same - new color and a little better looking from the side - not so orthopedic looking.

I really like these shoes, they are comfortable and look nice also. The price was cheaper then in the New Balance shoe store where I first saw them. Great shoe.

Great shoe. Very comfortable. Perfect for those of us with wide feet. The 4EEEE is an ample shoe so you have room for padded socks.

These are the best! I have been able to increase the length of my walks without increasing stress on my ankles, hips and back.

In my opinion, these shoes are the best of NB! I have had the 1121 & 1122 as well and I am glad to see they have continued this shoe. I wear a size 5 with a narrow heel and wide ball. I have a high arch and I pronate. I also had plantar fasciitis that flares up from time to time. I owned Saucony Grid Stabil at one time but they broke down quickly. The NB is better quality. They are worth the price. I am a fitness walker (4.5 mph) and these shoes are the best! Thanks also to Zappos for your over-the-top customer service.

Great service: my Next Day order did in fact come the Next Day. Great shoes: I compared them carefully with my previous store bought pair - clearly these shoes are exactly what they say they are - no knock offs, they are definitely the real deal. My feet feel so much better now. I'm a nurse, and this style is truly worth the money if your job (like mine) has you running for 12 1/2 hours straight. Very glad this online store is here, thanks folks!

This is my third pair of WR1123 running shoes. Excellent shock absorption, excellent support, ample toe box and they accommodate my orthotics. Even my foot doctor (a runner) was impressed with them. No break in period. They were comfortable from day one. Only complaint is I wish they also came in black.

Excellent shoe! I bought the wide width. Plenty of room at the toes, which is what I needed. I needed these to walk D.C. and they were perfect.

Absolutely love this shoe. It is lightweight, nice toe box, comfortable enough to wear all day, and stylish. Great arch support. I would recommend this shoe to any one needing arch support. Money well spent! Consider the hours that your feet must support your weight. Treat your feet to a great pair of NB shoes.

This is the only sneaker, if you will, I am able to wear because of bunions on both feet. Zappos prices are comparable to anyone else out there. This is a great shoe and an even more importantly a wonderful place to shop.

These shoes are really comfortable. I wear my shoes all the time and until they fall apart and this is my 4th pair of New Balances and my third of this design. The other 2 were the former W1122 style. This particular model is good for me because I have a very low arch and tend to roll my feet out. These provide a lot of support and provide a nice flat surface on the bottom so I don't fall over. I'm a klutz! I would highly recommend these shoes. I have a friend who also swears by this style, she was in a car accident a few years ago and has had several problems with her legs/feet since then and her doctor recommended this style to her.

This shoe looks bulky online, so I was surprised when i got them and they are actually normal looking! even in my extra wide size! I've worn the 992s and 993s for years, and I wanted to give these a try. super lightweight, maximum motion control. I'm very impressed. the only negative I can find is that it doesn't come in more colors. Although this color is very cute (the letters are a dark plum and light violet color), I would like something else other than white since it gets dirty more easily. great shoe! well worth the price.

This shoe is fabulous -- for me. I have extremely hard to fit feet with multiple foot problems. I need a wide width with an extra large and high toe box, and these give it. I need to use a custom orthotic insert. By going up a size (which also increases the width), and with the large toe box, I can get my inserts in and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

New Balance shoes which are not made in China are always great. Yes, you pay extra, however they are well worth it. These shoes are wide as marked and very comfortable.

THE MOST COMFORTABLE shoes that I've ever had!!!!! These shoes are lifesavers!!! With the open webbing...they are cooler than most tennis shoes...and they seem wide for a D width! They are definitely worth EVERY NICKEL!!! Thank you, Zappos, for carrying the wider widths.
